COULDN'T DELIVER AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I tried to purchase a $500+ bottle of tequila as a company gift on Dec 10, 2022. Over the next month, the bottle wasn't delivered, and reaching anyone at Reserve Bar for information was terrible. Then on Jan 6, 2023, I got a note that the order was canceled! They waited a month to tell me this!

I look bad to my customer and Reserve Bar is terrible.

Small problems fixed

I order from ReserveBar every single year. This year was the first time I’ve ever had a problem. I ordered 2 bottles coming from the same vendor and both bottles that came were not the ones I ordered. One of the bottles was a little expensive at $220 and I really wanted to gift it to my boss for Christmas. I did email but I understand that the holidays are busy so it took awhile for me to hear back. I did end up texting the number which got me in touch with someone much faster. Ashley was wonderful. No one was able to track down the right bottle but Ashley did issue me a refund and sent me an email saying she understood my frustrations and was sorry. She also gave me a couple dollars off my next purchase. I was really frustrated when I couldn’t get ahold of anyone but I felt much better to be acknowledged and helped. If you have an issue- I’d suggest texting the number as I got a response much faster that way.

The worst vendor I've ever seen. Ordered bottles for several clients as gifts using many different vendors. All but the reservebar order showed up smoothly. Been four weeks, tracking shows nothing. Customer service is impossible to get in contact with. when they email you a week later they don't answer your concern at all. absolute nightmare of a company

Fraudulent company

Bad. Scam. Fraudulent company. Idk how these ratings are so high. Ordered something over three weeks ago, no tracking info, no further info from customer service reps. I’m my quest for answers I’ve turned up dozens of people with the same experience. Stay very far away.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAMMERS! I wish I had read the reviews before I placed my order. Same as all the other one-star orders: an order that never arrived, no response from customer service, no emails, no nothing. tracking # says order doesn’t exist.

Non-existent Customer Service/Damaged Item

I pre-ordered two bottles of The Sassenach Scotch whiskey from Reserve Bar as the US distributor of Sassenach Spirits. Once released in the US I did receive the package. It was later than expected but externally intact. The first box and its bottle was intact. The second box smelled of whiskey and the bottle inside had a disrupted seal. The level of liquor in this bottle was visibly much lower than the other intact bottle. I sent a Damaged Item Report with photos as directed. This action itself was difficult as I had to submit multiple times in hopes that it was received. I additionally sent the same info through a email on their regular Contact US system. I received a prepared email response alerting me to the receipt of my email and that they would address it ASAP but it was the holidays. I ended up texting them after prerecorded directions on their phone line instructed me to do so. No text response from them. It is 9-10 days later as I post this and I haven’t heard anything from anyone. I have since tweeted @SassenachSpirits and emailed them, and tweeted @SamHeugan since they chose ReserveBar as their distributor. I gifted one bottle and kept the unusable one awaiting the possibility that they will rectify this situation. Obviously, something is going wrong with this company. In today’s consumer industry, this type of customer care is unacceptable. I would not use Reserve Bar until they rectify their Customer Service and any quality control and/or shipping issues they may find.

Maybe not quite a scam but...

Maybe not quite a scam, but certainly a very poorly run business. I've now placed two orders with ReserveBar and had two bad experiences. The first time, my order shipped late and with no communication of shipping or tracking, etc., and I could not get ahold of anybody in customer service. The second time, my order straight up got cancelled due to "insufficient inventory", and they offered some $20 voucher only good for NONALCOHOLIC items. Seriously? This company needs to get a grip on how to operate like a legit company, first and foremost with better customer service. Will not be using them again and cannot recommend.

Down right Fraud and no customer service

On the 28 of Nov I placed an order for 3 bottles of bourbon I received my e-mail like the last time but this time I did not receive the product. In communication with the Reserve bar’s sub, they are only a broker they are not the ones who own the product. The sub took the money but have not communicated with Reservebar on where the product is. I have asked for a full refund but they have not replied. There is not a person who you can talk too in the customer service department.
This was 165.00 order At first their tracking system did not show the number they gave me.
I will never use them again, and tempted to check with the FBI as interstate wire fraud since I was in Colorado and the company that took my money was in Califoria and where ever Reservebar took my money.
If I could give them 0 stars I would, very poor customer service and fraud. You might think your getting a deal but they will hose you in the end.

devastating

This gift was ordered DEC 8 , 2022 for someone very close to me that has stage 4 cancer, and this is his last Christmas. it was something he expressed that he wanted very much. We were looking forward to sitting with each other and having a glass. The delivery never got here. I have sent several requests.

inconsistent and unreliable

Like many recent reviews, I have similar bad experiences to share. Three of my Christmas orders placed on Dec 13th still haven't been delivered. Customer service is terrible and takes days to respond. Everything is blamed on being busy over the holidays which is just a flimsy excuse for a company supposedly designed to make deliveries of gifts. I think their business model is just to take a razor-thin margin from the orders and then farm them out to various delivery services. That would be fine if they provided support to assure those deliveries happen, but they just don't have the capacity to do it.

One order, in particular, sat unattended for 14 days at the merchant who was supposed to deliver and missed Christmas. Then when I contacted them myself the order was canceled because it was "not in stock" which could have been relayed earlier. I place a second "same day two-hour" delivery order and, 7 hours later and well outside my requested delivery window, the merchant wasn't able to deliver and Reservebar came back asking for a $5 redelivery or $10 cancellation fee for their failure. Terrible experience.

I can say that *some* of the orders went through ok, but I didn't join their premium service and trust them with holiday gifts for an 85% success rate.

Reserve Bar should be investigated for fraud

Reserve Bar should be investigated for fraud and reported to the BBB( Better Business Bureau). I ordered a Christmas whiskey gift on 12/9/22 and have yet to receive the item, a refund or explanation from its non-existent customer service. I do not recommend this company as it is a Scam!!

I wish I could give negative stars!!!! I placed an order on December 3 2022. This was supposed to be an anniversary gift for my hubby on the 21st of December. The anniversary has came and went. Then Christmas came and went. I imagine new years will come and go as well before the product comes. Ridiculous!! I can’t get anyone to so much as answer the phone or email. Someone finally answered me on Facebook messenger. I get a general message that they are trying to figure out what’s going on. Tracking has never worked. Never!!!! I am at a loss. Vm very disappointed and disgusted. Feeling like it’s a scam. I just want my money back. Horrible. Just horrible. I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered because clearly this company is complete crap. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Lord horrible. For those in the back—- HORRIBLE.

Nightmare Customer Service

If you are willing to be subjected to nightmare customer service then order from reserve bar. It is impossible to speak to a human being to get them to correct an address error they made when inputting the information for shipping. When you call their number you only get an automated response and cannot speak with a human being. When you text or chat from the website, no one responds. When you contact them by email, no one responds. When you contact the company they use to ship the product they are rude, give you the run around and tell you they cannot help you and to contact reserve bar. It is an exercise in futility and the worst customer service ever. Companies want your money and your business but they don’t want to hold up their end and provide you the service you pay for. I do not recommend ordering any products from reserve bar, they are nothing more than a pass through entity without the capacity to provide the customer service they are there for. I spent 5 hours trying to reach someone so they could contact FedEx to correct one number in the mailing address so that I could receive my order. Never spoke with anyone and never got my order. I am still battling for my refund.

Terrible Customer Service

Made an Order for a Christmas delivery on 12/16. Still hasn't shipped its 12/22. Tried emailing, calling, texting and chatting with no live response. Awful. I will never purchase from them again.

Well, here we go.

I’m glad I’m not the only person having this issue. Ordered a bottle of bourbon over a month ago was told the store was receiving a bottle the following Friday. It’s been three weeks no contact from a CSR no update no nothing. Did I just get scammed out of $100+ ?

Reliable and accurate ordering and deliveries. A reliable vendor that I have dealt with before and have nothing but good things to say about them!

This season is the second time I have ordered gifts for my managers through ReserveBar, and I have nothing but good things to say about working with these folks. Their prices are reasonable, and they do what they say they'll do both accurately and timely. This year I ordered a bottle of champagne and a bottle of Irish whiskey for each manager for a Xmas gift from the company, and they showed up on time, and no errors in the order. What more can you ask for from a vendor?
