I've been working with Karamii, Reem and Antoinne in Resi for a few years now, their drawings are great and they're always very knowledgeable and have a wonderful sense of humour!

I am delighted to work alongside Resi, as part of their Resi Connect team, in my capacity as a Party Wall Surveyor. They are an extremely efficient and reliable company to work in partnership with. Often, during the Party Wall process, further information and details are required from Resi and other Connect partners to satisfy neighbours Surveyors, facilitate completion of the matter and service of the Party Wall Awards. Resi act as a seamless interface providing or assisting to provide the required information to bring matters to a timely conclusion. I must make special mention of Emmanuel, Andrew and Karamaii who are always on hand to assist efficiently with any queries and nothing is too much trouble.

I have advised Resi and their clients on matters arising from the Party Wall Etc, Act almost from their inception. It’s been a pleasure working with them and see them grow and flourish in to the UK’s leading Architecture firm.

Dealing with them personally; they’ve all been remarkably prompt and accurate when it come to revisions of drawings required for preparation of party wall awards.

Structural engineering
We are a Resi partner and cover structural engineering. The dashboard is very helpful on providing quotes and keeping in touch with the clients. Emmanuel has been very helpful and our first point of contact.

Resi as an architect on our project has been great, offering flexibility and taking time to understand our needs them implementing them in the design over a couple of design iterations, Bene is super patient and always took the time to answer the many Qs we had and work with our suggestions to get to a finalised design we were happy with to be submitted for planning.

Check your measurements with Resi, we found that there were errors of up to 150mm in places in the plans.

Working with Resi felt very straightforward and user-friendly. It was a relief to have everything consolidated in one place, simplifying a process I expected to be overwhelming—especially their recommendations for contractors they've worked with before. Embarking on my first house renovation, I was grateful for how Resi displayed and showed the timelines and the various elements at play. My vision for the design and layout was already pretty clear in my mind, and after a few revisions Resi brought it to life exactly as I wanted. Freddie Gee in particular, was a pleasure to work with and help reduce a lot of the stresses associated with the design phase as he was very responsive and made lots of design revisions for me when needed.

We've just completed the final planning phase with Nick of Resi. I've been really pleased with Nick's creativity in presenting us with designs based on our requriements that we had not considered ourselves, and then Nick's 'how can we make this work?' attitude to logistics, integrating the plan with other elements of the house and in making sure we meet building regulations.
Nick also has a very useful network of other trades to make intros to and to expedite work to keep the process moving well.

I reached out to Resi as I had a complex planning permission situation, with little to no hope of acquiring permission due to a mishandled application by a previous architect. However, Nick from Resi engaged proactively on the topic, clearly explaining how we can refute the reasons for the refusal, being honest in his opinion and how we can approach a new permission. This has been massively helpful and I would recommend Nick for the great communication and expertise.

We used Resi as the system seemed very straightforward and the reviews were decent. We were ready to go ahead, get quotes and move forward and things seemed mostly okay. Our architect didn't really listen to us much nor offer much in the way of options, but we got there in the end.

The real issues occurred when life got in the way. We lost a child and I lost my job, meaning that the large investment required that was required for an extension was more challenging, and our mental state was horrible.

With that, we tried to put the project on hold, with Resi's response being that they'd take the money we'd paid and put it as 'Resi Credit', which we would lose (I'm pretty sure illegally) if we didn't utilise it within six months.

When we felt forced to get the project going again, rather than simply reopen the project and utilise the credit, they provided a new quote with the Resi credit taken off. However, the price to get the project back to where it was paused was double the credit value - quelle surprise.

Working with Resi feels like striking up a friendship with someone who periodically picks your pocket, bugs you on the phone whilst you're going through some of the hardest challenges of your life, and doesn't listen to what you need at any stage (unless they can turn it into a cash grab for them).

We're still in a horrible place mentally and financially, and Resi doesn't make it easier. Their pricing is extremely opaque but - then again - what's another £500 or £1000 or £360 between friends (as long as you're the one giving it to them obviously)?

Nick was very creative and understood our needs from the get go. We took his services to design and get approvals for loft conversion and garden room. He was always very responsive and quick to come up with solutions. We highly recommend him and his team.

Amelia was a great surveyor. Told me all the details of what was going on. Great service.

We had a good experience, with Andrew being particularly responsive and helpful at critical moments towards the end of the project. There were a few hiccups at one stage and Andrew stepped in and sorted them quickly. We were really grateful for that. Would recommend!

I'm very pleased with the services provided by Resi. Reem has been outstandingly helpful, not only with the design aspects but also in thoroughly explaining everything and answering all my questions. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for architectural design services.

Nick Stockley at Resi helped with details on my planning permission application and delivered the details accurately to the relevant departments on time. Nick provided a great service and communication was excellent.
