Don’t use.
This company says it’s a UK company but it isn’t. Ordered shoes which were tiny and then had to pay £26 to send back to China. Still waiting for a refund.

Thank you so much for my very comfy mules, they arrived safely today and I am very pleased with them, they are light in weight, very soft upper and substantial sole for running in and out of doors! I’m considering buying another pair for Winter.

I wanted shoes with a wide toe box and liked the look of these.
The part of the shoe that the foot fits in feels quite shallow and not very stable particularly the leather around my heel is very floppy and doesn't provide any support at all.

Ordered 2 pair of boots, customer service contacted me to go over the size before shipping to ensure they would fit. The size chart provided is very specific with sizes and its a great help. Boots arrived and they are so comfy, both the upper and insoles are leather making them incredibly comfortable. Ordered summer sandals too. Customer Service is amazing. Post take a while but thats expected when its overseas postage. This is a company I will buy from again

Avoid this company they do not deliver the goods purchase and then make threats against you when you try to reclaim the money via your credit card company legitimately telling you that you are committing fraud and will be banned from purchasing online. Terrible company if you do not want to be impacted on I would advise you look for a different company I would not want you to go through what I have

The shoes, boots and sandles that l have purchased from retro step are the most comfortable l have ever worn. I am on my feet doing a 12 hour shift 4 and sometimes 5 nights and since discovering the wide toe collection my feet are happy on the way home. The customer service team are informative and helpful and quick to answer any query l have recomended the procts to colleges and they to are happy with this comany

Shoes are beautiful leather. Will order again. Had to wait, but I was not in hurry...

Hi , I received today my shoes , perfect size , exactly what I ordered, lovely design, leather so soft and comfortable.
Costumer service Lisa , excellent customer care team, emailed to make sure I order the correct size, I ordered 2 items, 2 different stiles. I can wait to get the second pair of shoes. Everything perfect so far.Thank you .

Complete scammers. Shoes are made from PLASTIC. The pictures on their website are AI and don't look anything like what they sent. Don't be fooled by their big spiel about leather.

I asked them how to return the shoes at no cost due to their lies about the material with which it was made. They tried to lie again that it was leather – which is absolutely is not.

When I told them I knew it wasn't they requested that I cut up the shoes into small pieces and send them a photograph of the cut up shoes.

In a world where they are contributing to a climate crisis and are actively scamming people, I am absolutely not going to destroy and create more waste due to their negligence. As they refuse to give a refund I will give them to a charity shop and argue the case with my bank.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Great sight just as described.
I brought some wide square toed ankle boots. I was worrying that because they were coming from China they might not be as described or the size may vary. They were bang on. I am a size 6 but ordered a 6.1/2 so they would be more roomy. The leather is soft and they are very light and comfortable to wear. My only wish they came in other colours 😊

I am so happy that I ordered the pair of shoes for my daughter! It is a pair of very well made Real Leather shoes which I can't find them in the UK. The best thing is that even smaller sizes like size 1, size 2 are available for a lot of their shoes! This is really great for people with smaller feet! My daughter says they are so comfortable! We will use their service again!

I have been searching for a pair of wide toe box shoes for a long time. There are shoes that are wide but loose at the ankles. Eventually after searching on the net, I found this pair of shoes that looked right for me.

They have a wide toe box, fits well at the ankles. The leather is soft too. They are comfortable to walk in. It seems like they have been customer made for me. I would have liked the heel to be a bit higher but it is a minor issue.

I would recommend them to anyone who have wide toes with narrow heel area. And the price of £62 was right for me.

I am cautious buying shoes online so contacted Lisa at Customer Services, who was very helpful concerning the sizing. The shoes took quite a long time to arrive (I hadn’t realised they’d be coming from China). But they came well packed and are very comfy. Very nice hand made shoes.

This company pretends to be from the UK , but it really Chinese and you have to return only to China at great expense.
The sizing is off, never has a size 6 not fitted except with this tiny shoe . Do not buy from them .

I received Green Minimalist Flat Mules after my shoe size was determined (by a first pair of shoes I had ordered).

These are lovely to slip on and slop about the house in! Soft and comfy!

There was a fault in the pair of boots that I bought, and the customer service team were very helpful. Once photographs and details were shared, they offered a re-made and sent a replacement with no quibble. I was very impressed with the service and would definitely buy from Retro Step again.

Ordered two pairs of shoes from this company and both have been exactly as pictured and incredibly comfy, I wear them almost every day. Customer service is very accommodating and give very speedy responses too. I was a bit unsure when first ordering from here since it’s not a company I’d heard of before, but I actually highly recommend this company to my family and friends now.

I have bought 3 pairs of boots from Retrostep - each pair was brilliant. Immediately comfy - no having to ‘wear them in’. The delivery was quick and the service impeccable- sending me personal communications to check everything was to my satisfaction before dispatching the item. Can’t recommend highly enough

Paid £63 for shoes which on arrival were much too small. Customer service responded: 'Our sizes follow the CN (Asian) size system, which can run smaller than standard EU/UK sizes.' So I had ordered size 41 but received much smaller shoes. I then paid £15 to return 3 weeks ago but have neither received refund nor heard from them. No where did I see these details when ordering.

This company makes the most amazing boots and shoes. I have just bought my second pair, my first ones were a soft brown suede retro lace up shoe, I wear these everyday they are so comfortable. I have just invested in a pair of black ankle boots (doc Martin style) they are so soft and lovely to wear,these will definitely be my winter favorites. Very well made, thick soles,finished off to a very high standard. I have struggled to get shoes that don't crush and hurt my feet these are a joy to wear and the company is a joy to order from their workforce should be proud of what they are making, wonderful shoes would definitely recommend.
