I found a place to live in southwest Las Vegas, the part of town I wanted to be in. In like one day. Zero complaints. It may be a bit of a trick in rural areas, but in a big city you have tons of options.

I was very lucky! I found a GREAT roommate the day after I posted my room for rent. Thanks Roommates.com!

Site is good. Technology so so. Has some quirks. Rating is a 4 because I don’t find it’s being used by people. I’ve tried using for a year and limited number of persons searching.

The beginning was slow, Hardly any respondents applied. Then this young lady from Texas contacted me. She came over and loved the room. A week later, a young man from Alabama showed interest. He is moving in soon. I ave exactly what I was looking for, thanks to Roomates! I will highly recommend your app to my friends

I deleted my account, n then within 24 hours Roomies automatically charged me another $6.00.
So, please reimburse me as soon as possible.

Met some friendly renters. Found a nice place.

Liars. “Starting out at $1 a week” you have to buy the whole year to get a dollar a week. Scam lvl nonsense, not helpful unless you fork up the cash. Absolutely not

Using roommates.com for many years and never had issues. Allows choices at affordable price.

I was matched with men. I wanted and needed females only.

I sure appreciate that your services were free, however. Know that.

I basically had to look through all of them. So many will say all these different areas but, only want Phoenix, surprise or whatever . When I contacted and told them where I was at it was to far. I put exactly where I was .
Also if they have an animal they really need to list it service animal or whatever. With a service animal I require there proper identification papers because I have other animals worth over a few thousand dollars. I also would want them fixed and up to date on shots. Also do what you say, and say what you want done as far as rules,and mean what you say!

Found the ideal roommate/renter on Roommates.com. Took less than one month. Thank you!

Roommates.com Is either a scam or they're sadly incompetent. I have no doubt they are gutless

The experience the second time around was smoother in finding a roommate. The messaging between the roommate prospects were great. But there are two individuals that are just looking for sexual contact. They should be removed by roommates.com.

The experience was smooth and the platform easy to use. Easy to communicate with interested people. While this was not the fault of the platform, I got a pretty negative/strange message from someone out of state, who was also renting out a room (in their state) - and judged me for some reason about the verbiage in my post and went all whacko political. Not even sure why they were even reviewing my listing, but you can't fix people...I was going to report them to Roommates.com, but didn't have time to deal with it. I'm sure they would have helped, though! Hopeful that my new roommate situation works out well, will know more in the coming months!

The site is great. Sadly she backed out do to losing her job. So I’m looking again

Please when you do find a place turn off the app so you don’t waste other people’s time.

We found a roommate on roommates.com after trying basically every app and website available. On the other sites, we got more low quality prospects compared to those found on roommates.com and it ended up being an issue of quality versus quantity for us.
