We have used Roundbrand Castleford 3 times now, to supply windows. The first 2 times were fine. The 3rd time, we gave the opening dimensions, and collected the windows as normal. Our fitter tried to fit them, only to find they were all too big. The woman in the office hadn't taken the 10mm off the opening sizes. When we emailed to point this out, she abruptly told us they never take 10mm off, even though they had the previous 2 times. After this reply, we couldn't get any response from the Castleford office, or their head office. We have had to pay a builder hundreds of pounds to cut the openings out for us, as this was the cheapest option. Please avoid this company!

The two fitters were both fast, friendly & efficient. My new uPVC door is great quality & exactly what I required. Prices are really competitive too.

We replaced the windows and doors for our whole house but did it a bit at a time, and she was really helpful throughout the whole process. Joanne was always friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help us match everything up as we went along. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she made the whole experience really easy. Great service

Excellent products and service from the Doncaster branch of Roundbrand. We had a composite door from them recently and it’s brilliant …and we’ve just taken delivery of some windows. They’ve been so patient and helpful with us…rectifying OUR silly mistake on one of the window orders, and the delivery lads couldn’t do enough to get the windows in and stored safely. Really impressed. Lovely people and great service all round. Thank you so much!

Recently visited the Doncaster branch and found the staff extremely helpful, took their time to answer my questions and helped me through the order process, good service and very friendly, thanks both of you 👍

From start to finish, Ash and Sophie were brilliant to deal with. Ash took the time to explain the different options available, gave honest advice, and made sure we were comfortable with our choices. We were always kept informed about timings and next steps. The windows themselves are fantastic quality and have made a noticeable difference to both warmth and noise in the house. Thanks!

Bought 2 doors from Roundbrand Doncaster start to finish ordered by Sophie everything went like clockwork used this company before and fitted doors for a previous builder all good evertime after sales excellent small detail sorted by Ash immediately many thanks Alistair Hands

We bought a conservatory and windows from Roundbrand in April this year. The team were great, offering loads of advice and recommending a fitter. The whole lot got delivered to my door with great care. The quality of the windows was excellent. Just wanted to thank them for all their help and hard work.

Well where do you start .. the door didn’t fit and then they boarded up my house telling me it was the fitter I needed to pick the problem up with I wish I could post pictures on here

Fantastic friendly in branch staff so happy to help and always got the kettle on nothing is a problem. Good easy to use products with quick delivery times also wide variety of products and colours

The following issues were experienced on a new-build over a period of 3 years -

> 3 visits to repair a large 3 section bi-fold door which wouldn't close properly before eventually being replaced.

> 2 visits to repair a front composite door which wasn't aligned properly with uneven gaps & wouldn't close.

>A bay window leaked, we were told it was ok on a couple of visits, but eventually the accumulated water damage to the internal window board, wall & skirting were obvious enough for all to see, all required replacing, re-plastering & decorating.

>Side PVC door received somewhere between 10-15 visits, the locking mechanism wouldn't align so we couldn't lock it, this kept happening every few weeks, eventually the internals of the door were replaced, then on another visit the glass panel, then eventually after insisting about it the entire door itself was replaced. The handle on the new one is still loose like the door that it replaced & feels like it'll fail at any moment.

> 3 visits to investigate a draughty bedroom window, the glass panels were replaced, then the window panel itself & more recently the handle snapped internally & has needed replacing. (At cost to us)

Overall, we can't really fault the guy who comes out to repair all these issues, but the quality of these products leaves a lot to be desired & isn't on par with the value of the house.
For most of the issues, we have also had to be chasing Roundbrand to get them resolved.

1 star is being generous! New door supplied and installed by one of Roundbrand’s recommended fitters. (Note that Roundbrand are supply only!). After installation noticed a ‘hole’ at the side of the door latch. According to the terms and conditions any claims must be reported prior to installation……exactly! How would you know there was a defect before installation? Quality control must be poor or non existent? However, they do employ engineers to rectify problems. The ‘hole’ was filled with wax. Next problem was door lock ‘sticking’ and unable to open the door. Replacement lock provided, eventually after much chasing, on a supply only basis. This didn’t resolve the issue. Then told that a new locking strip would be fitted as it could be faulty or swarf from manufacturing process could be causing it to ‘jam’ the mechanism. After several weeks of continually chasing this was eventually changed. However, the wax infill was dislodged during the fitting. Yes, you’ve guessed it! We had to chase to get this sorted. Don’t expect a lot from the after sales team unless you like chasing, office visits and can accept being fobbed off with empty promises. I wrote a letter of complaint to the directors of Roundbrand only to receive an unsatisfactory and incorrect response. Your choice!

i went into the scunthorpe showroom for a new back door, I was very happy with the service i received. the door is of excellent quality and i'm very impressed with it.

Door arrived damaged , fitting was poor. When we complained we were told the door was supply only despite them organising the fitting. They then came to fill the damaged door while we were out and we hadn’t agreed to the door being filled. Very poor quality…..avoid this company

My partner and I went into Roundbrand Castleford after they did our neighbours front door, we spoke with Tammi who’s knowledge helped us massively when it came to deciding on the door.
We will definitely be back to see Tammi when our windows need replacing.

I was reccomend Roundbrand York by a friend for my new doors and windows. I wasn't sure what I wanted but Sarah was a huge help and very knowledgeable. The price was spot on and ordering was made easy thanks to Sarah. My new doors and windows were delivered to my house 2 weeks after I placed my order with no fuss.

Laina and Claire are really friendly and give a great service! They have both given great advice on what was best. I would definitely go back again.
