Thanks to Ian and his team we are very happy with the repair to our drain system. He is very knowledgeable and thorough and we were thankful we found this company. We had been previously advised we had a sunken drain on our property. The camera footage on the drain report carried out by RPD showed no sunken drain and saved us thousands of pounds. A very professional company who we would highly recommend and excellent communications from Emma.

5 stars is not enough for the responsiveness, kindness and professionalism displayed by Reactive plumbing….i found myself in a very stressful situation, with backed up drains, for the third time….they attended my property within 24 hours and sorted the problem right away. Absolutely excellent service from the workers themselves but also have to give a shout out to Emma who is front of house….really understanding and kept me informed of everything that was going to happen. Thank you!

Lead pipe replacement
Great communication before commencing work. Carefully removed block paving outside to create two holes and replaced as before, same inside with floor boards, no mess,quick, efficient and professional, would highly recommend, thank you Emma, Ian and staff.

From start to finish of the job they were helpful and efficient and explained everything that they were doing. The job was completed in a timely manner and with least disruption to us and our home. Would definitely recommend them

We have had ground water for some time and it was getting to be a nightmare. Insurance came out and reported no leak. Water board UU came out 3 times and did various test of drains etc with the result of no leak. So where we going to have to live with boggy gardens and pools of water? Apparently so.
Reactive plumbing and drainage ltd came out and immediately knew what the problem was. Next day came out dug down (which nobody so far had even considered) located and repaired THE LEAK (which UU we did have)
Clean, efficient and very professional. Can’t recommend highly enough. Drainage magicians in my opinion.

Ian and Tom installed a large land drainage system in our back garden following many years of flooding. They were here for less than 2 full days as started early and worked right through, ensuring that all our garden was put back into place as they found it….very clean and tidy work. Very knowledgeable guys who clearly know their stuff and answered all my questions (of which there were many!). Very pleased with the work and although we haven’t yet been able to fully test the system due to dry weather, I’ve been assured that we won’t have any further issues. Emma was also super helpful and efficient on the phone prior to the work starting. Would certainly recommend RPD and will be calling on them again to install the drainage for a downstairs bathroom. I had a blocked soil pipe so you can draw your own picture. On ringing Emma said they couldn’t get to me that day as fully booked , ringing around others also said they were fully booked , 30 minutes later Emma rang to say they would fit me in and take a look , Ian and Emma are two of the most helpful people I’ve ever come across .
Drain unblocked and a massive relief for my agitated wife and me .

Really great service from Ian and Emma. Clear communication, easy to deal with and thorough. Very respectful of property and neighbours. Fast and efficient work and faultless clean up after. Very pleasant team, would recommend them highly if you have any drainage requirements. Our circumstances were a little trickier than average. Another firm had found it too difficult to progress for us but Ian did a thorough survey of what we required and delivered everything we’d agreed. Very happy with the whole service start to finish.

Lead pipe replacement on a 100yo semi. Corrected a few other unearthed issues, at a great price.

We're having fairly extensive work done on the house and we found out that we had lead pipework that needed replacing from the main supply into the house, I was recommended Ian and I'm so glad I was.

He immediately let me know that their was a grant available and advised me to get this straight away. He than came to view the job and was able to give me a clear picture of what the job involved, including digging up the drive but assured me that this would all be made good.

I expected the quote to be high as the grant was involved but it was very reasonable for the works involved and we agreed a date for the work to be done.

There was a check in to make sure that everything was OK for the day of the job and Ian and team were here at 8am on the dot and did the job without fuss and left the drive looking better than when they arrived.

Would recommend 100%, absolutely fantastic service.

4yrs ago I bought a house for my daughter to rent, she is a wheelchair user. The drains kept overflowing & the toilet filling up. Ian came & found that the drains were full of ivy growing right through them & he cleared them all out. I recently sold that house & bought a bungalow instead for her. She moved in & after a week found w.c not flushing and outside drains full to top with unmentionables! Ian called ON HIS DAY OFF and cleared the system. What a hero. We don't use wipes but there were a lot in the sewage system from further up the line. DON'T FLUSH WIPES PLEASE

I would highly recommend RPD, we had a leak somewhere under our property decided it would be best to replace the old lead supply pipes. Ian and the lads worked really hard on the day, there was minimal disruption to our property and the job was completed in a day with the lads cleaning up well after themselves. Communications before and after the job with Emma was excellent and really responsive, with emails being replied to really quickly.

We needed to get a drainage inspection done to secure a mortgage on a property and we’re given a very tight deadline to have it sorted by.
It took one phone call to Emma, who was incredibly helpful, and it was sorted.
Ian called to give me a breakdown of the report and was so insightful and was able to explain everything clearly which was perfect as I have no clue on drainage or pipes.
Really great people to deal with and we got our mortgage thanks to them delivering on a tight turn around.
Wouldn’t use anyone else and once we’re in will definitely be in touch about getting the works done.

The team lead by Ian were all extremely courteous and hard working. They arrived before 8:00 am on the 3 days that they carried out the work despite an hour's journey to our home. The work performed was for a lead replacement pipework supply from our mains connection in the house to the boundary of our property to enable a new mains supply to be connected by United Utilities. In addition to the lead replacement, the team uncovered a few additional problems such as a leaking soil pipe, and several broken sewerage ceramic pipes in our existing waste system. These faults were fixed quickly. Five holes had to be dug into the drive to allow the mole tool to be used to provide a link for the new plastic pipe to be inserted. After completion the driveway was restored to its original state and everywhere was left in a tidy state. The work was completed to a high standard and I would not hesitate in enlisting their help if any similar work needs doing in the future.

Ian and his team to the rescue at short notice. Always 100% reliable and great service as always. Would highly recommend and wouldn't use anyone else.

Amazing from start to finish from Emma and Ian. Always had time for me and gave honest advice throughout. After a really poor CCTV survey from another company they done a survey themselves identifying a major defect which the previous survey didn't not show, this also ended up being a United Utilities pipe which saved me alot of money. They also repaired a pipe on my land so quickly and efficiently and spoke to the United Utilities staff for me to explain where the pipe was located as they couldn't find it. If it wasn't for Ian I wouldn't have known any different.

I couldn't be happier with the service provided and would recommend them to anyone.
