Delivery was even worse than pick up
Delivery was even worse than pick up. I used this service. The delivery driver arrives in a semi truck and then is a jerk about where exactly his truck has to be parked, threatened to send my stuff to be freighted and told me that would be an an extra $1,000 fee. I told him he needed to park the truck because I wasn't paying more than I already had. He then unloaded my stuff with no care for any of my property. The boxes were broken, my TV was broken and my one of a kind table was broken. The company is the ones that wrapped my products that were broken. They said fragile on them and after watching them be unloaded I knew that they were not handled with care. They lost one of the pins for my kitchen table so I couldn't put that together. The driver got mad at the guy that showed up to help unload because he put a runner down to save my floors. This entire experience was a joke and I recommend you stay away from this company!!!
Oh and if Ryder responds to this please tell me who and a number to contact to make this right. The only way you could do that would be to honor the original price you quoted me instead of the triple price that I was charged. It took 3 weeks to get my stuff and trying to figure out why was a run around answer every time I called. I have never been treated so horribly by the entire business and every person that I spoke with. Now trying to file a claim I am again getting the run around with who I actually need to call. Such a joke of a company and not worth the money.

This company is a big scam and all the positive reviews are fake. Be aware this is an absolutely scam broker company that will screw people. What they did to me is horrible I can not even bring it to words. I don't know how this people can live their life by screwing other people's life. Even with all the fake reviews they only have 3 stars and if you exclude all the fake reviews they only get one star same here if you remove all the 5 star reviews they only have 1 star reviews. After they get your money they treat you like a shi*. Their customer service is just yelling at customers instead of listening to the problem they caused to you obviously because they know how horrible they are.. This people are the Horrible!!!

PLEASE BE AWARE!
PLEASE BE AWARE!! They charge me almost double the initial contract (they called that later and estimate) at the time of pick up (basically at time when I already planned all my moving and flight.. and there was no time to find another company for a reasonable price). They said either you agree to the new terms (they not only changed the price by 2 times now they say we only accept cash and Zelle for the rest of payment which was against what they tell you initially and their customer service tells you) or you lost your deposit which was $1000 in my case. Be aware THEY were nice BEFORE I PAY THEM the deposit. But after they got their money they are not responsive anymore and becomes very abnormal. My agent a person named Greg B never answered my phone after (seemingly he blocked my number). The customer service keeps changing their words and leave you on long hold. This is why they don't accept credit card and only accept types of payment that customers can not claim their money back. This is absolutely a SCAM broker!!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! They smooth talk you and give you a crazy price you cant beat. The mover was late by a day. Loaded my stuff they came and DOUBLED my quoted price. He told me 5 to 7 business days it toom 32 days and my furniture was destroyed. Bed broken. Overhead lamp broken and to top it off they changed me an extra $200 to unload because THEY said it was more than 70 ft. I have contacted the Atty Gen of FL, PA and NJ and have retained council. They should be accountable for all of these folks they rip off.

They will charge you more than double when they get your deposit and tell you that either you agree or lose your initial deposit. So after you paid them the deposit you are locked with this company and have no other choice. BE AWARE BUYERS!!!

If I was you
If I was you, I wouldn’t waste my time hiring this company. This place was a complete nightmare at first I thought it’s cheap. They quoted me 1564 to move from Florida to New Jersey which sounded like a good deal. The movers came to my apartment December 13 they measure all my things they see my bedframe in my mattress. They tell me if I want to take that to New Jersey it’s gonna cost an extra $800, I had to leave my mattress and my bedframe in Florida because that’s not what they quoted me. I wasn’t prepared for an extra $800. So they pick up my things and now it’s two weeks later they deliver my stuff to New Jersey I’m missing two boxes of carpet and both of my dressers are damaged. They bring your things on a tractor-trailer so if you if you live in a residential area don’t bother hiring these people, they will charge you an extra four to $500 to move your things from one trailer to another. The guy that dropped off. My things got smart with my dad with my father was only trying to direct him down the block they ended up, leaving all my belongings on the other side of the street and I had to move everything by myself when I paid these people to do that for me if I was you, I wouldn’t waste any money with this company. This is a joke. I don’t understand how people could lose your things when you’re paying them for service and also damage your furniture in the process save your money and do it yourself and get a U-Haul.

They had our stuff for 80 days(that’s right 80 days lol) after saying it would be 7-10 days. It FINALLY arrived today but with thousands of dollars worth of stuff missing and damaged with wet moldy boxes. Avoid this company at all costs!

I received my belongings 6 days after my expected date. There were several items damaged, but I was thankful to finally receive my belongings after originally being told 24-48 hours of expected date.
I will be finally a claim and hoping to be reimbursed.

Worst Experience
Worst Experience! We were not told we were working with a broker and the quote we were given was changed upon pick-up but we were told if we cancelled the move we would forfeit our deposit. We have yet to receive our items which were picked up on Nov 2nd. Every time we call we are told a different story. Save yourself a nightmare and don't use this company!

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
The positive 5 star reviews are FAKE.
My husband and I hired Ryder Relocations to move our stuff because the price seemed reasonable at $2800 and they promised a 14 day delivery window over the phone with the sales team. First of all, they were a day late to pickup and delayed the pickup until the very end of the last day of the pick up window. Then, they charged us substantially more than the quoted price upon arrival to pick up our stuff.
There's multiple phone numbers to call for the business - which is a red flag. When you call customer service, you wait for hours to get anyone on the line to talk to - and when you do speak with someone they say "it's not their department" and they cannot provide any information and provide you with another phone number to call. We've called customer service 20+ times and no one can tell us or provide a location or estimated delivery time, after a month of living without our things. This feels like robbery.
I am third trimester pregnant and had back issues from sleeping on a couch for 3 weeks until we finally bought a mattress after realizing our stuff won't be here anytime soon. We've had to buy thousands of dollars worth of household goods, clothes and furniture because our stuff has been delayed.
We are filing a complaint with BBB and the Department of Transportation. We will have to seek legal action against the company for not holding up this legal contract. This business shouldn't EVER be trusted with your money or your stuff!

AVOID
We enlisted another company, a contractor, who contracts with actual moving companies. First mistake, but they did not make that clear to us at any point in this process. The price we were quoted was about $3,000 to move furniture and boxes from a 2 bedroom apartment to a small house one state away - about 1,050 miles one-way. We paid our deposit, the movers from Ryder Relocations showed up the day they were supposed to, but hours late. They wrote up the contract and it ended up being twice what was quoted by the other company (Ready Relocation
Experts). We’d already paid $2,000, and now they were asking us for an additional $2,000 to pack up, and another $2,000 upon delivery.
This was not something we’d planned for, but despite that, we figured keeping another $2,000 on hand in the event that there were any unforeseen expenses would be enough. We were quite shocked to learn that it wasn’t even going to cover the rest. We had to beg family to help, which they did, thankfully. We had the $2,000 they needed to pack up, but not to deliver.
I cannot express how shocked we were. We felt like we were dealing with an organized crime family extorting money because they knew they had all of our possessions and could sell it all if we didn’t pay. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had doing business with any company, by far.
That said, they estimated delivery in 7 days, but it ended up being 15. They finally showed up to unpack. They did not assemble anything as promised. They literally brought everything in, didn’t unwrap or put anything together that they took apart. We are still going through our things but so far we’re missing a few things including a portable AC unit worth $600, and we still have yet to find our blankets. We had a box clearly marked “BLANKETS” and they are not there. They consolidated space by haphazardly dumping things from other boxes into boxes that had room. Boxes were upside-down. We got someone else’s box of silverware and what appear to be items of sentimental value, possibly family heirlooms. We have no idea how to get these things to the people who own them. We are left wondering how many of our things got delivered to the wrong place. Time will tell on that, but so far this is not a promising start. We may have to take legal action. The lack of care and courtesy feels dehumanizing.
They know they had everything we owned and used it to charge us twice the amount quoted.
Do yourself a huge favor — AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
I am filing a complaint with the U.S. Department of Transportation. On their site to file complaints we experienced 2 out of the 3 examples they cite of moving fraud.

Don’t use this company - Updated Review
Don’t use this company - they are a scam. Scheduled a move with them and it was a joke. The week of my move it was very difficult to get phone calls answered. They were supposed to show up on Thursday. I waited around all day for them to show up - I called a couple times to find out status and got very little help. Finally the mover called and said they weren’t coming until the next day. They came Friday morning around 9:30am and videoed everything needing to be moved - furniture only. The actual moving company called back around 1:30pm to give me the cost - it was more than 3 times what I was quoted. Cancelled the job, lost my $550 deposit, wasted 2 days of our long weekend to move. Started all over and found a new company and they came a couple hours later and completed the move with travel time in 3 hours for $900.
UPDATE ON MY REVIEW:
Still a scam. They have replied 2 times asking me to send them all the details so they could look into resolving the situation. I have no confidence that they will do anything. Stay away and find someone else.

They'll tell you anything you'd like to hear
I approached Ryder Relocations for a long-distance move and was initially attracted by their competitive pricing. My sales contact, Jordan Doran, assured me in writing that I could cancel within 72 business hours and receive a full refund on my deposit. However, after encountering numerous negative reviews and choosing to cancel within the given period, I've consistently faced hurdles in reclaiming my deposit. Regrettably, the written assurance from their employee wasn't honored. Despite my persistent efforts, I'm frequently placed on extended holds or disregarded altogether. Based on my experience, I recommend steering clear of this company for any relocation needs.

This is not a professional moving company. They are a broker that uses unprofessional companies that rent out Uhaul and Penske trucks. We had a large portion of goods broken and/or undelivered. They stated the day of delivery that the other items would be delivered the following week. That was nearly a month ago. We still have not received them.

DISHONEST SCAMMERS/INTIMIDATORS
Movers were from EXCLUSIVE VAN LINES, Ryder brokered out the job, Ryder's $800+ fee did not go towards move, were 5 hours late for pick up & delivery, did not have correct truck for pick up, had to go rent a UHAUL, spent 6+ hours packing, into the night, 2 guys, gave them dinner & nice tip, also mentioned Cu sq ft was more now, needed more $, Venmo'd an extra $1000 - to a Hazim Albakri at 9pm ??, They would not finish packing unless was sent - THERE'S A REASON why they do not take Credit card or checks because they know you can cancel & dispute them - they will only deal with bank checks for a reason!!! They would not continue packing unless extra $ was delivered, would not open & unlock the truck upon delivery, unless contract signed, (RIDICULOUSLY - they were 25 days for delivery ! )unless bank check in hand, could not check items before handing over check, very INTIMIDATING, signed contract UNDER DURESS at delivery, at pick up on 6/28 - drivers said they were on their way to GA then to NY -for us it would be 3-5 days, 25 days later they arrive 5 hours late, MISSING - an expensive 8'x10' area rug, a Korean brass vase flower arrangement, a nickle silver incense burner & DAMAGED - several china & crystal pieces, a lamp shade destroyed, dining table scratched, china cabinet armoire leg broken. This was my 89 yo mother's prized possessions & they knew it, totally took advantage, I called Exclusive & Ryder almost everyday for the month of July, it was always, the truck broke down, waiting for a part, tire needed replaced, needed a driver, at one time, they said the load was in storage in Orlando & waiting for a driver, so DISHONEST, non-caring, NOT TRUSTWORTHY, still waiting to hear about my 'lost items' , they do not care - so payment was stopped on their fee, they were not happy & will not help me any further, so we will be pursuing a legal route. If you file a claim, it says you have to sue them in Broward County? even though they are headquarters in NJ? Very SUSPICIOUS, we will be looking into it further, we would really like our items that are missing, but I know they do not care to help us, hardly ever answer their phones, when do they have to call dispatch to get answers, then its story after story, dispatch never returns answers, etc etc. Tried to file a claim for EXCLUSIVE with CSI on their contract - CSI no longer works with claims for EXCLUSIVE, RYDER told me in order to file claim payment needs to be in place, they said disputing charge is illegal - which it is not, it is totally at our discretion - when go to file claim on their website , there's an addendum that needs to be signed about not pursuing lawsuits- VERY FRAUDULENT, DISHONEST & NON-TRUSTWORTHY COMPANIES - stay away!!!~. We will be looking into this further, interesting there are 5 unhappy customers with similar experiences these past 3 months !
