ScanCafe has been digitizing all of my media for years. They are reliable and the best value for the money (cost and quality).

Very disappointed in ScanCafe. I sent ScanCafe 27 slides of irreplaceable content that I received when my mother passed away recently. I was so anxious in having them converted and sharing with other family members, but, somehow my slides ended up in the Fisher, IN landfill. ScanCafe talks about the security of your slides during every step of the process. Each step of the process is videotaped, but, somehow my 27, irreplaceable slides now reside somewhere in the Fisher, IN landfill. Totally unacceptable that they even left the facility! I asked for a small written narrative after I spoke to them. I was very upset and angry when the marketing woman explained to me exactly how it happened. Another senior level guy told me that my case had already generated many changes, but, I found a review someone wrote 2 years ago with the same issues I had. I can tell you about the claim on their website that says something to the effect of "we offer a $1,000 guarantee that you will NEVER need if we lose your slides", guess what, I got the $1,000 guarantee that they tell you that you will NEVER need.

The results are often in better condition than the original. ScanCafe has become our trusted handler and converter of disparate media, such as VHS and film. They communicate throughly about the process, how to package and what to expect.

I found three rolls of negatives from pictures my father had taken after I was born in 1946. Many weren't very good pictures, but several were priceless. Really glad I did it.
Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because it took longer than expected to get the results.

I liked that all the pictures were put into file folders just as I specified. It was all done very well.

One of my return shipments was lost in transit. Michael Tetmeyer in customer service stayed on top of it and kept me updated on the claim. He has also responded quickly to questions about my other orders. When UPS was unable to find the missing package, he was able to have the USB drive with the missing files recreated, thus rescuing my family memories. I've been using ScanCafe for years and never had a problem but it's good to know, if I do, there's great support the help me.

In the past, I scanned pictures myself with what I thought good quality. I am so glad that I took the time to gather up those old photos and have them professionally scanned. They went from good to GREAT! What a difference!

I had hundreds of slides to convert to digital form and they did an excellant job. They kept the slides in the correct order and left each batch with the title i assigned. Only objection was how long the process took.

Overall the job went very well. The one little problem was that a couple of the slides were duplicated twice and a couple were skipped. Service and turn around were spot on. Will use this company again.

I should have gone to a local business the scanning process mailing took far too long and the bait and switch daily discounts left me wondering if I overpaid.

Slides that I sent were scanned quickly without a hitch. For some of the videos, the scans came back with some line noise (a hum). ScanCafe rescanned multiple times until they could eliminate the noise. It took a bit longer than the slides, but I am so pleased they went the extra mile!

This is the 4th or 5th time we have used scan cafe for large quantities of photos or slides. We have always been happy with the results.

Used this service for the first time to get virtual pictures of old family slides. Process seemed daunting but was actually easy, especially when I reached out to customer service reps who were very helpful and courteous (despite my diminished tech ability). Looking forward to changing over some old VHS tapes now!

Misscanned items. Missed scanning numerous items. Called support multiple times to fix. Resent negatives as requested. Scanned at wrong resolution when supposedly fixing. Recharged fees that support said I would not be charge. Still have not received express shipment of negatives after weeks, Prior batches were actually lost. QA needs to improve!!!!!
