My order has been marked as delivered but it was not to my house. For five days I have called and never got through to even an answering machine. My emails have been ignored

Availability of books. Books slightly cheaper than my usual provider and postage half price. Very quick delivery. I will be back again.

Schoolbooks.ie is a great example of a bespoke online retailer using efficient automated ordering and delivery and tools to the point that humans are out of the loop so when it goes wrong don’t expect any response from the customer service. If you make a mistake and order the wrong thing, the wrong quantity or ship to the wrong delivery address don’t expect to be able to correct anything by contacting customer service. Emails are not answered promptly, WhatsApp appears to be nothing more than a sympathetic, apologetic bot and the phone rings until even the computer gets fed up, tells you they are really busy and hangs up on you.

Their catch-all customer service solution is, “use the refund and return” option.

Schoolbooks will be my last option in future.

Speedy enough delivery and all items arrived as described. Only reason I have deducted a star is because the delivery person left my package out on my doorstep in the rain - I waited at home for the delivery, and I picked the tracked express delivery option which was disappointing. Not necessarily your company's fault, but one of the suppliers that you use. Got better service from An Post from another schoolbook supplier recently, and that delivery was free and came the next day.

Ordered at 3pm and it came the next morning at 11am. Brilliant service

Books not delivered - won’t answer calls or emails - ordered 27 July followed up severak times no reply

Terrible. As per other reviews, order placed 17 Aug and still not arrived first week September. Call and put on hold and then kicked off after about 10 mins, have tried maybe 8 times same every time. No response to email. Have cancelled order but who knows what will happen next. Have used previously and fine so really dissapointed and a kid in school with no books.

I have ordered my daughter books more than 15 days ago, I had two orders , second order delivered on time, but the first oder is not delivered yet, I I wrote an Email and tried to call, no one received the call, always call will be waiting ,after 5 to 10 min the phone will disconnect with a voice note , unfortunately no answer to the Email yet , please if you see this feedback ,please send our books or refund the money

Fast and easy delivery would recommend

School is back and still no sign of any of the books I ordered. I have emailed several times to enquire and then to try to cancel but to no avail. I have tried calling over and over again but just stay on hold and then get cut off. Really disappointing.

Books were in stock and I received them quickly. Only one issue… I ordered 2 books but only wanted 1 covered but didn’t have the option to choose so had to pay for both books to be covered.
