I recently had a call regarding my Child Trust Fund and had the pleasure of speaking with Waseem. He was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions with patience, and made what could have been a stressful process feel simple and straightforward.
Waseem was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire conversation. His excellent customer service and willingness to go above and beyond really stood out. Thanks to his support, I now feel much more confident and informed about my Child Trust Fund.

Wanted to start a policy for new grandchild. All seem to be ok. Then went inline to try to see the new policy and it runs out this company does not allow you to manage a choild policy online.. I am not going to ring them every time I want to know how much is in there, or add money or whatever, forget it will ho elsewhere, emailed them bavk no response now tried there contact for lets hope I get a response this time..

Note if SF are reading this review be more transparent when signing people up, had U known you do not offer online management for child policies I would never have wasted my time.

Very good product combining benefits of investing rather than just interest with a reassurance you will get at least as much back as you put in, simple to set up and keeps contributions from grandparents etc separately identifiable which is nice

i WANTED TO MAKE A ONE-OFF TO 2 GRANDCHILDREN FIRST WAS OK. SECOND WAS HOPELESS. YOUR SYSTEM WOULDN'T SWITCH ACCOUNTS PROPERLY. ALTHOUGH I SELECTED THE POLICY NUMBER FOR THE SECOND IT INSISTED ON USING THE FIRST ONE'S DETAILS. I CHANGED THAT. THEN I WANTED TO MAKE THE SECOND ONE-OFF PAYMENT AT A LATER MONTH I COULD ONLY HAVE NEXT MONTH (I WANTED TO HAVE 1/12/26 BUT IT DIDN'T OFFER ME THAT).
THEN I COULDN'T LOGOUT - NO OPTION ON THE SCREEN.

I called with problems accessing my account and was helped through each stage until it was resolved. I was impressed with the call handler and the friendly manner they had. Thank you.

I opened a Junior ISA with Scottish Friendly. I liked that there was this option of family topping up the ISA with one-off payments. But after setting it all, it turns out this is quite a faff, as they would all need to set up their own pot and can't just simply contribute. Was quite disappointed.

Spoke with Scott, what a breath of fresh air, so professional, something that a few companies could learn from. Been so used to online insurance and just unprofessional non English speaking bots!

The worst pension plan imaginable. Over 17 years, Scottish Friendly LOST 25% of my investments. Incompetent or fraudulent ? Who knows. They admit nothing. Put your money somewhere else…
