The customer service is trash over the phone. They are sarcastic rude abd must be common practice for them to charge your card whenever they feel like it and can only offer an apology but no refund.

Animal Abuse.
It's unbelievable that this is still allowed to go on. It's animal cruelty, imprisonment, exploitation and abuse for money. Reward and punishment to perform like circus animals, they need thousands of square miles of ocean to live happily. The government must be turning a blind eye because its big money. Every incident is blamed on the trainer because they are cheaply replaceable, and they are just as accountable for the abuse. I'm surprised a lot more haven't been eaten. Maybe if they ate all the trainers this barbaric circus would stop.
Very disappointed
We brought a 3 for 2 park ticket with all day dining from attraction tickets back in the uk before our visit. Once in Orlando we had to activate our tickets at the self service ticket machine at the first park visit which was sea world. There was a queue at these machines which only 4 out the 8 were working and people were still having problems! When we redeemed our tickets no seaworld tickets came out the machine! There was NO staff around to help or ask questions and there was a very long queue to ticket kiosks to speak to anyone. So we proceeded to the gate with our paperwork which had a barcode thinking this must now be the ticket. The man scanned but no this didn’t work! So then was told we had to queue at the kiosks! This queue was as long as queuing for a ride at Disney! Anyway we had no option but to now get in this queue. This honestly took us over 1 hour to see someone to sort this out! Again there was 12 kiosks but only 4 open! My daughter who is pregnant did finally find someone to tell them that this wasn’t acceptable and was told “welcome to spring break” the park wasn’t even that busy! This queue was down to not enough staff working on the kiosks! We finally got into the park nearly 2 hours after arriving at the park!
On entry we were so hungry so went for food on our all day dining! More queues for food, slow service, no trays to carry food and salad for burger looking sad and limp! Finally sat down almost 3 hours after arriving at the park!
With a late entry to the parks we just missed dolphin show so had to wait around for a later show and then missed the orca show at 3.30 so then had to wait till 9.30 to see this show! My daughter is pregnant and we have a five year old so couldn’t race around the park like teenagers! Again this park wasn’t busy! The wait time for mako was 10 minutes! Such a frustrating experience!!
Awful place
Awful place, this is just straight up animal abuse people. Please do your reseach before going to this place. It is absolutely mind blowing that this is still legal. Poor animals forced to live like this and entertain us.
Great day for families
The animal shows and interactions are fantastic for families day of adventure however the food is subpar even having the meal pass it was not worth the money
I registered for 2 preschool park…
I registered for 2 preschool park passes for 2024.
The website stated that the tickets must be activated by a park visit by Feb. 29th, 2024. I was unable to visit the park by this deadline.
Instead, we visited both Seaworld parks the week of March 11th. I purchased tickets for the entire family, INCLUDING my 2 preschoolers because I knew the deadline that I had been provided by Seaworld had passed and therefore thought the preschool passes were not eligible.
Seaworld NEVER informed the preschool pass holders that the deadline to activate those passes had been EXTENDED TO MARCH 31, 2024.
Because I was unaware of this extension I ended up paying for 2 tickets for my preschoolers when we visited the park March 13 and 15th.
I called and spoke to 4 people at Seaworld including 2 supervisors who were all useless and kept giving me the same speech about not being able to refund used tickets, and they said it was my responsibility to check the preschool pass section of the website to check for updates...which is ridiculous. I had no reason to check that section of the website since I believed the deadline to use those passes had expired.
I simply want a refund for the 2 tickets purchased for the preschoolers and for my preschool passes to be activated so they are good for the year, since I legitimately visited the park prior to the new deadline. I was told NO. They also said I had to REVISIT the park to activate the preschool passes by March 31! Utterly ridiculous. Terrible, awful customer service with no desire to right a justifiable wrong.
We visit Seaworld with our family ever year and are consistent paying customers. I have paid over $2,000 to visit your parks. I will no longer do so if this situation is not remedied fairly and justly.
Nice Day at Sea World
Sea World in Florida is a large park with rides, a nice area to see the whales, and whale and dolphin shows. They also have penguins and other fish that you can touch. The staff is super nice and know the area well.
Parking is for a fee and get ready to walk to the gate. The day we were there it was so hot and there is no escape from it. They don't have enough places to sit and when you find one you might very well be in the sun. It was miserable.
Getting in took about 20 minutes, so they should staff up.
The food selection is okay. They have sandwiches, burgers etc.
The rides are fun for kids, but the lines are long so get ready to wait, in the heat.
They have dolphin and whale shows. We wanted to see one and they were all cancelled for the time we picked. No notice, nothing.
They have a fish petting area that is not supervised and kids just grab star fish etc. and this is cruel. Can they at least have someone that says no, don't put the starfish in your pocket.
They also have an area where you can put your hand in and the wrasse will nibble on your hand. At least they enjoy that, but again, not one attendant to deal with kids that are not being raised with any manners by parents.
The place is pretty clean.
Orcas in a pond disgusting place
It's time to stop tormenting the…
It's time to stop tormenting the majestic and highly intelligent orcas in captivity! Their highly complex brains enable them to develop intricate social structures, plan hunting strategies, and experience emotions. These fascinating beings belong in the wild, not in tiny tanks for entertainment purposes. Every visit to these parks supports this cruel practice and contributes to the suffering of these animals. I sincerely hope that even more trainers are eaten by them so that a rethink finally occurs and this appalling exploitation is ended!

I was looking forward to revisiting a part of my childhood. That SeaWorld was wonderful. Before I go into depth. I REALLY wish the animal advocates would stop talking about the animal cruelty. They are against any zoo and aquarium. If they really wanted change why not partner with SeaWorld and come up with better habitats instead of trying to guilt people into boycotting. I'm SICK of the animal people.
Now to the review. There logistics are terrible. There are no attendants in the park to greet and guide you. There needs to be more signage throughout. I feel like the CEO'S main objective is to keep costs and staffing low while maximizing profits. The customer experience seems to be a very low priority. We spent an hour walking to find the Mardi Gras "parade". It lasted maybe 5 minutes. It literally consisted of 6 people which included 2 stilt walkers. It was nice to look at but extremely short. We didn't see any shows and there was no clear direction how to find anything. We did see a feed the dolpins exhibit that was an extra cost of $45/ea for 15 min! People pay enough for admission and parking why should they pay extra for anything except for food? There were very few places to sit. Even when we got Mexican food and drink, there were no seats! There were little tables to stand at. There is absolutely no announcements of the events. I believe there was a concert I'm not sure though. We did think the drinks were tasty. Overall, I miss the shows of the sea animals.
I will never agree with what they did…
I will never agree with what they did to killer whales for the simple reason these poor whales should of been realeased in to the ocean they kept hold of these poor baby's and it's cruel I got the whales freed and glad I did to
Welzijn van de dieren
Waarom leven hier nog steeds dieren in veel te kleine leefomgeving... voor t vermaak van de mens? Belachelijk
We have visited SeaWorld many times
We have visited SeaWorld many times. We always have a great time, specially around Christmas. However this last trip we had a bad experience with the snacks we took. We have small children so we got crackers, chips and the normal snacks for the kids we usually get for amusement parks. We never had a problem. The food in most amusement parks is not very good so we thought that maybe something healthy won’t hurt.
They gave us a poor explanation about why we couldn’t get the snacks in. We asked for the supervisor and a young man “negotiated” the terms of the policy. They took the chips and left the rest after an embarrassing back and forth in front of the kids. They said it was harmful for the animals but yet allowed numerous other to take bags of food inside. We never thought to feed it to the animals (we keep pretty busy feeding our kids already). I looked it up and this is their new policy: “What dining options are there at SeaWorld Orlando?
Restaurants and concession stands at SeaWorld Orlando are located throughout the SeaWorld Orlando park. Large hard or soft coolers, glass containers, food, drinks and picnic lunches may not be taken into SeaWorld Orlando park. Guests with special diets, baby formula or baby food may bring their items into the SeaWorld Orlando park.”
I think they should change this particular policy. It’s a park for children! For families with small children! They should be more flexible to allow healthy snacks, different snacks from what they offer at the park, especially because they really don’t have many healthy options. We are not totally against sugar, candy or a sweet treat but when that is all you offer, along with fatty foods, the kids that are not used to it, end up feeling bad the rest of the trip. It’s no fun for anyone!
Intelligent animals
Go see 'Blackfish' on Netflix before you decide that it's okay that SeaWorld makes a lot of money and you'll contribute by buying a ticket and merchandise.
Why do they charge 5% surcharge on…
Why do they charge 5% surcharge on overpriced food.
Why charge $5 to go up the Tower. The rollercoasters admission is included in the ticket price.
Games are a ripoff, like at a carney looking for suckers. Prizes are plush toys but you need to spend at least over $30 to win a good toy.
A complete and utter disgrace to…
A complete and utter disgrace to humanity. The poor orca held captive here is kept in nothing more than a fish bowl. Please help free this orca to a sea pen where he can finally enjoy life. Do not go to this place if you have any human decency.
SeaWorld has seriously gone down hill
SeaWorld has seriously gone down hill. It was originally a go-to park, but now don’t bother. Firstly the dolphin, sea lions and orca shows are not what they used to be. The all-day-dinning is a joke and not worth it. We wanted to start the day with breakfast, but there was only one stall opened with one server, and they didn’t serve any breakfast?? We then waited in line just for a drink and 30 mins later they said drinks machine was not working. Finally as the park had a Halloween night, half of the park closed and the restaurants closed at 6pm. A total disgrace. DONT BOTHER GOING.
Purchased a gold annual pass
Purchased a gold annual pass. Processed and charged to my card but nowhere to be found. On hold three hours and counting. Promised call back never happened. Called right at 9am next day, same. Live chat is a useless bot. Terrible customer service. Corporate said call customer relations - two days and no one answers the phones. Would strongly suggest someone from corporate try calling or going online like a guest on a regular basis. We will not be renewing our passes.
The Halloween event they were hosting…
The Halloween event they were hosting sucked, On their website it only said ( If you want to buy reusable bags ) It did not say that if you didn't buy their bag, They would not give out candy to the kiddos! So upsetting seen many kids emotional for such a stupid thing. Busch Garden is so much better!
Geht nicht hin bitte das ist einfach…
Geht nicht hin bitte das ist einfach nur grausam wie die Tiere gehalten werden ! Seht euch dazu mal den Film Black Fish an (da geht es auch um SeaWorld)
SCHRECKLICH
It's all gone downhill!
I last visited Florida at the end of the 00s and Seaworld back then was in the top three of my favourite places to visit in Orlando. It was a unique experience to see so many animals and the rides and shows were excellent. This is in stark contrast to what it has become.
I'd argue that Seaworld possesses some of the best rollercoasters in Florida - with Mako retaining the record for highest and fastest and the new pipeline surf coaster being very unique.
This is where the positives end.
The shows that made Seaworld what it was in the 00s are now awful. The Sealion and Otter show which used to be a pirate show has turned cringey and weak with a strong "feminist vibe". I looked at some of the other families when jokes were delivered to blank faces (even the kids didn’t find humour)although the introductory mime remains the only funny thing from this show. The show of the 00s retained its "dad jokes" whilst remaining funny (just watch a YouTube video and compare). The show felt shorter and just less impressive than it used to be - noting of course that Seymore and Clyde are still the casted sealions since the beginning of the millennia (they don’t seem to do as much as they did – granted this could be due to age). Don't get me wrong, when face to face with the trainers (we paid extra to have one of the experiences), they seemed nice enough, but it felt like they did not possess the charisma and acting charm put on a good show. It felt forced.
The dolphin and orca shows were again, very much female trainer focused. Perhaps it was a coincidence on this day for so many females to be leading - but it felt this was a heavily pushed agenda.
Considering it was the end of September, and with reduced crowds, the food service was appallingly slow. On two occasions I started queuing for food and gave up after there was no movement in the que after 5 minutes (literally had 2 people in front of me). The staff did not seem motivated (compare to the Disney parks that we had just been to) - I ended up just not bothering buying food and waited until we left the park. The prices were also very high.
We also paid for the experiences with dolphins and sealions. Included with this was a photographer (so you could enjoy the experience and not worry about capturing the moment in a photograph) - however, you have to pay for your own photos after (again, crazy prices).
Photo quality was terrible. The photo with the sealion is basically a shadow outline of ourselves and the sealion. Considering we were unable to take phones close to the water for photos with the dolphins, photo quality here is also not great. Ironically, those not paying for an experience were able to stand next to the same pool without any phone restrictions a few meters away. I get the safety implications, but it seemed excessive.
Considering the price of these experiences and with this being a one off special, you would expect this memory to be captured well by a "professional photographer"- only to be told that the person taking the photographs was "new" which was the reason for the poor quality (not a single photo at Disney was of this level of quality). We did buy the photographs as it's the only real proof that we actually had the experience.
The penguin exhibit was also poor. It required a que to observe the penguins - granted, the park is undergoing renovation and improvements, but it’s no excuse for having guests que with no protection from the sun. The park could have provided more protection or fans to shield guests from the baking sun, instead, they were left out in the open with minimal protection for around an hour. It was poorly organised (random batches let into the room of penguins at any one time).
To summarise, it’s all gone a bit downhill at Seaworld - the focus is now on quantity, not quality and Seaworld has lost the special edge it used to have. The focus seems to be on the ride experience, not the sea animals. The shows are short, less impressive and have lost their educational and comedic touch. The experiences were poor quality for the price paid. These are all aspects that could be easily improved by better management (rewrite a few shows, better training/ faster service) - but looking at other reviews, this seems to be a trend. With this being a separate package to Disney and universal, I probably wouldn't purchase this as an extra package if I were to visit Orlando again - despite the excellent roller coasters on site. I’d easily put this at the bottom of the list of the top 8 theme parks in Florida.
