I ordered what I thought was a lovely yellow dress from a company owned by two sisters in Manchester. LIE. Irs foreign

The dress quality was dreadful, shabby polyester, mustard. No gathers under the bust as shown. I asked to return to Cannock, the delivery return address on the parcel and a refund. Was offered 15% off, and said donate to a friend it charit, otherwise you have to return it to China at enormous cost, it's only fit for the rubbish bin. I've asked again for a refund as they are liars. They replied that they tell the truth and make sure details are correct etc....no offer. I have repeated the request , no reply. I has asked my bank credit card for a charge back. They are processing and have asked the company to reply in 45 days.
Update -email stating refunded one day later after my Bank intervention will see if it appears before sigh of relief......Worth the hassle of contacting my credit card bank.

Total scam. Fancy fake website selling cheap polyester tat from China for inflated prices.
That's my lesson learned!

Update: I have got my money bank via my credit card. The key is to email the company saying that the unwanted goods are available for them to collect, giving a UK address, and some suitable days / times. I never heard from them again after that. the whole amount was refunded a few days later to me direct, not via my bank. I am now off to the dump!

Delivery took 14 days. Dresses were not as advertised, and very poor quality replica made in China. Price was exorbitant for what was delivered. In dispute for full refund, waiting return address not yet supplied. Link to website "no longer found" too. Dodge!

Do not buy!! Appalling quality, cheap polyester garments from China, paid £60 for 2 and they are laughably terrible!!!

Do not buy from this company. They are not a family business based in Manchester. Shipped from overseas, took weeks to arrive and was nothing like the pictures on the web site. Cheap nasty material, it’s gone straight in the bin!

I too have just received a dreadful copy of the linen dress I ordered. It's not linen and the quality of the material is shocking, and the bad copy of the designed print looks nothing like the photo that made me buy it. Absolutely awful. I'm embarrassed I fell for it.

Do not buy from these people. It is an absolute scam. All of these people giving a low score are absolutely right. But don't just complain here. Report them to National Cyber Security Centre and the UK International Consumer Centre. We want the site taken down. It is Dutch registered with China links. Also, claim money back from your VISA payment card.

Ordered on 21/7. As of 12/8 no delivery. Contacted customer service twice. Long delay for replies. Told to “hang tight”!!! Doubt I’ll ever see order or refund. Do NOT PLACE AN ORDER.

I agree with all the other comments here. This company is a scam. Purporting to be based in Manchester and founded as a British company. It is not: the goods received for little resemblance to the quality fabrics or designs on the website. It also did not have the branded labels in which actually means their classed is counterfeit. In the future, I will be checking trust pilot before I order from any company that I’m not familiar with. I’d look better if I was wearing a paper bag! I certainly will not be sending the items back to China at my own expense as they suggest. And it says on the website that there are free returns which is a total lie.

I ordered 3 dresses from their advertisement on 21 July. I thought I was dealing with a business In Manchester. Now find they are in China!
The dresses are made in poor quality material. One dress has what appear to be pen marks across the front. I immediately notified the company and I had an offer of a 15% refund and I could keep the dresses. I replied that I didn’t want that and asked for an address to return the dresses. I then was told I had to pay postage and various customs costs sending to China. I am not going that route. I shall take this to PayPal

The dresses I ordered and received weeks after are nothing like the dresses advertised. Shocking, avoid this company. Returns to China, which is obviously going to cost quite a bit.

I was expecting the long delivery but was not expecting the poor quality and workmanship of the dress! Don’t buy from these people! I asked for a refund- they offered 35% and keep the dress. The dress is only suitable for use as a duster so I refused the offer. They then sent the return instructions which were ridiculous so I gave up in the end which I guess is what they are hoping for! Don’t be fooled- the products look so much better in the adverts!

This company advertisement purports it to be UK based but is in fact in China. Only if you read the small print return policy will you find this information. Delivery times are long due to them being sent from China. The quality of garments is shoddy to say the least. Poor quality material, badly cut and sewn. Expensive return postage which resulted in items being held in customs. The only way we gained a refund was to go through Sec 75 bank process. Avoid this company like the plague!!

They were good at keeping in touch with uodates. The only thing I would say is that I wasn't expecting the order to take two weeks for delivery.

Update: I have been in touch with my credit card company hoping for a full refund. Selby and Rose are still advertising in a dishonest way all over the internet! They should be stopped. They have sent me an email to review the awful dress they sent me and when I click on the review button it takes you to their website and you can not leave a review. This is what they are still saying on their web site: They are not in Manchester but in China, they are very much misleading the public with their clever wording!
