Only gave it one star as there’s no option to give none! Load of rubbish, steer clear. Garment arrived after a lengthy wait and it was crushed beyond recognition. I suspect items are being processed abroad. Nothing like the webpage quality, don’t be fooled .. like I was.

How I wish I'd read the reviews! Long time in arriving, dress not the pattern or fabric I had requested, very poor communication and like others I was offered a 15% refund. Haven't tried returning it as yet but imagine it's probably not worth the hassle or expense.

I would concur with all the one star reviews here: this company is operating a scam. However, it is possible to get your money back, if you paid by credit, or even debit card, by making a chargeback request to your bank. The first step, when you get messages from 'Selby & Rose' offering partial refunds, is to email them, telling them that the goods are available for collection from you, sending details of where and when, and giving them 5 days to collect. If they do not comply, your bank will use this as a refusal by S&R to co-operate. Following this advice from my bank I have received a full refund from S&R.

Same experience as other reviewers. Item received not as described, full refund and cost of return postage not offered. I raised a dispute with my credit card provider and I have now been refunded in full. Needless to say I would not recommend this fraudulent company to anyone. I fell for a scam.

To all those who have been scammed by Selby and Rose, it is worth approaching your bank or credit card provider to request a chargeback. i am pleased to say that my bank managed to get the money back for me....Please give it a try, lets get our money back from these charlatens, dont let them get away with it....

I received my dress today and OMG! What a unbelievable load of rubbish! The design and material are awful and Nothing like they advertise on their website. In fact its all lies because they are not based in Manchester, there are no sisters and they do not use Royal Mail. These sites should be illegal! I have requested a full refund but judging by the other reviews I wont hold my breath!

The dress was appalling. Stained and what on earth was the material? Straight in the rubbish bin. Chinese crap.

My story is the same as everyone else’s. Very plausible website, looked swanky and well designed this must be the future of AI. Perhaps we should return to shopping in person so we can see what we are buying, it was an expensive mistake to make

Highly misleading advertising. Sent the wrong dress and experiencing being given the run around in response from company. Poor quality product.
Willl attempt a Chargeback on my Credit Card.
Do not be fooled by the Facebook adverts. This is mis-selling at it’s worst.

DO NOT BUY from this website.
They pretend to be a UK company but are not. AI images used on website, that should have been a warning sign in itself. Clothes were extremely poor quality, nothing like the photos, and no labels to say material or washing instructions. Returns have to be sent to China so you will likely have to pay customs duty!!

Lesson well and truly learnt. I will be more careful about online purchases in the future and I hope this stops someone from also being duped.

Advertising looks like a UK company. Actually took 2 weeks to arrive from unknown origin country. Poor quality and nothing like adverts. No UK return address. Do not buy from this company.

Do not order from this company. Total misrepresentation. You are led to believe it is two sisters in Manchester selling quality, upmarket, high end goods (photos of yachts etc) but in fact it is nothing like the descriptions. Ships from China, terrible quality and should be held accountable under trade descriptions laws. Avoid at all costs.

Took a lot longer to arrive and the quality of material was disappointing thought it was more like cotton not a cheap polyester just disappointing

This company looks like a UK company, but I received the items from China. They were badly made and the material was horrible so tried to send them back only to discover that postage to China is really expensive from the UK. Basically, I’ve been scammed.

My recommendation is that you stay well clear of this company. I ordered a dress and they have delivered the wrong item. With any reputable company it would be easy to resolve this. Although the item was dispatched from the UK and has a UK return address they have refused to pay for the return and insisted that the return is sent to an address in China. It is clearly their responsibility to pay for the return. The wrong item which was delivered was of extremely poor quality.

Dress was rather late in arriving, but was very pleased with it when it arrived today! Problem did not stem from Shelby and Rose, they have been very helpful.

This company is a total scam. They are an outlet for cheap goods from China. I have reported them to the police, they are part of a whole chain of similar sites. There are no shops, the quaility is atrocious and bears no resemblence to the images.

I wish I had read the previous reviews before purchasing, badly made products and the returns process all the way to China at own expense. Plus I had to insist on returning rather than having 15% off on a dress I didn't like. Very misleading information on the website.
Appalling

dreadful quality..ordered 'cotton blend'...sent jersey type cheap looking fabric...
when I asked for a return they offered 15% refund only ...or post to East Asia address costing as much as the dress itself...
website is v misleading...not uk based at all !

I would give minus stars if that was possible. I feel completely conned. I expected a cool summer dress, nicely packaged, as per the advert. What arrived was a polyester nightmare, screwed up in a tiny plastic pack. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!
