I would like to give some depth to this review but as they have cancelled on me twice to clean my 3pc suite I can’t other than to say they appear very unprofessional-no real reason given for cancellations other than they are not in a position at present.
After reading other reviews I’ve had a lucky escape-go elsewhere

We hired this firm in Hampshire to do a deep clean of an office we were moving into.

Quite a simple review really, they didn't clean. They were on site for just under an hour, when they quoted 5, didn't even go into the main toliets, but insisted they had been cleaned, half the desks weren't touched etc etc.

But, unfortunately, that wasn't the worst element of it. One of the team, the supervisor in fact, stole some IT equipment from one of the offices. It was caught on CCTV, presented to them with the opportunity for them to return it, but they denied everything.

They did, however, offer a 10% discount on the invoice.
Absolutely awful, shocking service from start to finish, including property theft.

Five star service !!! I couldn’t be happier today !!! Fast and very professional!!

I booked this company to pick up two rugs, take them away, clean them and drop them back. This is such a useful service if you don't have the kit or space in your home. The rugs were delivered in excellent condition and I was pleased with the outcome.

Was given this company referral to clean expensive roman blinds, I advised at the time of enquiry that 1 of the blinds was coffee stained. The blinds cane back with the same stains, no mention when delivered that the stains hadn't been removed. A few days later when putting the blind back up that it was basically the same as when it went for cleaning. Called the company & was told, no guarantees the stains would come out! Asked why this wasn't told to me in 1st place, no response. The call handler then told me nothing to do with me, so i asked for a call back regarding the charges for the blind. Still waiting on the call! They can take your money but clearly dont want to deal with any issues! My advice is avoid!

I had my carpets cleaned for end of tenancy with this company in Norwich they were quick to get back to me and explained the cost and vat very reasonable and I was really pleased with the work they did and the end result, Chris was the young man that came to do the work he was very pleasant and got on with the job straight away , I am glad that I used this company.

I hope to god smc lose their contract with sovereign network group.
I live in sheltered accomodation for older people and for many months the cleaner at parklands in totton who works for smc has been banging doors, slamming them deliberately disturbing elderly, terminally ill residents ( myself included) at 7 to 8 am 3 to 4 days a week for months.
Knocking on residents doors asking for tea, coffee and we are getting sick and tired of it.
I've reported it directly to both the housing association and her boss based at smc Newbury but nothing is done about it.

I Would not use this company as a cleaning service, being an ex employee their myself ( at the Colchester and braintree locations ) they use DIRTY cloths , mops and their products are cheap. I have tried to intervene and give them other ideas on how to make things more simple and other alternative products as i have been cleaning for years and was in shock to see how they clean regular building sites. They didnt like my suggestions and decided to get rid of me, they treat staff members terrible and this is why staff do such a poor job once on site. Its a shame cos they could do really well, but their communication ( due to poor english) is also poor and they continuously give misinformation with simple things like start times. I would not waste a penny on this company!!! Especially if you are in the colchester , braintree , witham area!!! Not sure about other locations as i have no experience their. But everything is quickly done i honestly would feel disgusted if this company was cleaning something personal of mine! Its an absolute disgrace!

We received leather sofas cleaning from Lee at Service Master Clean Kingston Upon Thames today 1st October .

Lee did a superb job in restoring the sofas to new again. They all look great. Very professional first class clean on x 3 leather sofas . Polite courtesy and good workmanship received from Lee. We are all happy with the leather sofa cleaning service received.

This is our first time using the service and we are highly impressed.

Highly recommend this company.

Insurance assessor recommended SM to remove and restore fire damaged items. I met with the Bristol Manager and showed him what rooms to do. Showed him our loft that had NO DAMAGE AT ALL and he was told by our assessor and me that the items in the loft are for STORAGE ONLY. They had to be stored as the structure surveyor needed to see the end of the roof trusses.

Service Master (SM) removed everything and then sent a BER list which had nearly all our undamaged items on. They even supplied photos of the items and you can clearly see no damage to any of the loft items.

We have lost about £20k of items that had no need to be disposed off. Not one call, one email or even a text before disposing of the items. I can only believe that they were sold or auctioned off. All our personal history, 20 years of Harrods Christmas bears, dinning chairs, photo albums, linen and other items from our caravan letting, even 16 rolls of loft insulation all gone without one word. How can they do this? Because they are crooks in my eyes. Nothing less.

As for the clothes they took, well they said they would send 6 items to the cleaners to be tested. 10 months later they are still there, not even processed. All our other clothes are somewhere apparently still smoke damaged but not even looked at. How can a world wide company be so blatantly bad!

Don't worry, I am not finished with them yet. Shit will be falling from a very great hight in time from the ombudsman and the courts. They picked the wrong man to do this when he was at his lowest after loosing so much in a fire, for SM to them do this to the only items untouched.

Service Master never did get back to me directly, even though they said they would reach out. I have ended up having to get a SAR to see what has gone on. Just now in the process of getting everything in a time line from both the Assessor and Service Master SAR's and then I will be submitting a complaint against them. I will try to keep this thread updated as they are aware of the review and done a little internal search as the SAR shows after my initial review, so I will have to do another SAR to complete the complaint as they sent all the emails and correspondance but no photos. Please stay away from them if your Insurance Assessor trys to get you to use them, please.

Have had my carpets cleaned by Servicemasternewbury for the last 6year's. Very pleased each time and this time the carpets down and upstairs look like new. Have 3 dogs and although they are kept clean, after a year there is a doggy smell in the house. My husband can't smell it but I can. When the carpets and the underlay have been thoroughly cleaned the house is clean. Very professional, very pleased.

I was trying to get parked in my car park and one of their vans was obstructing the entrance. Registration MT68 ENK. I beeped the man so he knew I was waiting to come through but he shouted and said “you can get through that gap’ I said “I cant as I have a SUV car.” There were raised gas boxes on the floor as well that would have scratched my car if I had tried. He was moaning and shouting but I couldn’t hear what he was saying. He wouldn’t move so I had to park my car at another resident area. I have a baby that I have to get out of the car so it was really inconvenient that I couldn’t even park in my own car parking space because of someone’s lack of etiquette! I wouldn’t mind waiting if he had acknowledged me in the correct manner but shouting at me like a dog was not professional! This man needs to go back to school and learn some manners!

I used to clean a dental practice in Kibworth made sure it was done to the best standard possible. And ended up getting removed from site what part was not up to standard as i always done it properly to the best of my abilities

Had my front room carpet cleaned , we had a lot of work done in the house so it was quite dirty . I found the gentleman very professional and thorough in his work . It took about 40 minutes to clean . The end result looked very good . He was very clean and tidy in his work . I would recommend this company

They cleaned my in laws carpet and did a brilliant job. Was very happy with the service they provided and took great care in helping elderly customers

Got offered a job through a job agency cleaning. Got an unrealistic workload put upto me in little time considering it was my first day and was left to it even through i was told I'd have training. Not impressed. Would avoid

Terrible service, I work for a dental practice and I have complained multiple times and received no reply, also one of their cleaners dumped our commercial waste on the street and not in our recycling bin which left us with a £600 fine -there response was ‘you should have told us what to do with the recycling when our bin is full’ well I certainly didn’t think I had to explain dumping it on the road next to a council bin was the best course of action.

I've worked for service master going on 4 years I think. I've had three different bosses and only ment the first boss who hired me. I've worked pretty much the same contract for most of the years I've worked there. So I tale pride in ny job ans enjoy what I do. I really like the independence I get from the job. Sp when my new boss called to inform me that the contract I've worked for years didn't want me back. I was really upset. I don't really understand what happened it sounds like there was a misunderstanding and I asked if it would be posable for a mediator to short this out. Buy instead I lost my job for know reason . And I am at a lose for words. The boss is a new owner and doesn't really know me . But I still feel like I don't matter
