Sessions College Avis

I want to write a 2 paragraphs about this amazing school but I’ll keep it short. (: the line of professionals(professors, advisors everyone) at this school was a great selection! They are ALL soooo very helpful from the beginning to end! Any questions will be answered IMMEDIATELY, they always check up on you making sure things are going well with you and your courses! I’m beyond HAPPY I picked SESSIONS to further my education I will ALWAYS recommend this school to any designer

It was a great school and I learned a lot. I hope to go back to learn more.

Wonderful teachers provide constructive feedback, course material was able to be completed in a flexible manner to accommodate my schedule, learned a lot about using various Adobe software programs, and was able to create many projects to expand my skills and portfolio.

Professors take too long to reply back to you, and some of the assignments they don't make accessible to students who aren't at that level or who don't live in a highly populated community. But the student advisors are friendly and will help any way they can.

I love how flexible this college is and how the curriculum is run. The fact that there are no due dates is a huge relief. This leaves everything completely up to you and how you want to run your program and work it into your life based on your availability at that time, because life in general changes everyday. I would say that the only improvement that could be made is potentially the response time (occasionally) of the instructors. Because so much gets based off of the exercise before it, and the fact that you can make changes to the exercise for a better grade, it puts a hold on how far ahead you want to work before getting your grade from the previous exercise. All in all, I would do another program through this college. I learned a lot and all of it was hands on based on the job I may do in my related program of study. None of the time was wasted doing coursework that had nothing to do with what I was going to school for.

My instructors were understanding and patient, always answering any questions I have. Even though I never became a career designer, the certificate is still nice to have.

Great experience with professors that would assist and help guide you through the program. To allow you to truly learn and understand the concepts of the program.

The courses at Sessions were great to get me started. I completed the Advanced Certification in Graphic Design. The information I learned during my time was enough to get me a part time graphic design job. Experience coupled with what I learned through Sessions will be exponential Tommy career as a designer. The program was easy to follow and do on my own time.

Learned a lot. Like the way of study.

I'am an Graphic Design major from Willis, Texas. So far, My experience has been outstanding results at the right price. Before I was going to Sessions College, I was attending Lone Star College System, which turned out that the college was more into their money than the students. The downside is that the Education System in Texas is messed up. That's the reason why I picked a school outside the State of Texas. The Thing I liked about this school is that they hands-on training throughout the program, which I really loved it. So far, I'm starting to love my major, since it's more hands-on for me and keeps me busy.

Thank You Sessions College! :)

Sincerely,

Dakota Athans

It's great! I'd highly reccomend it... my only problem is with how long you have to wait for a response from teachers sometimes

Loved the program and how easy sessions made it to complete the program

Studying at Sessions was a great experience. The courses were well-written and the instructors responded promptly to any questions. What distinguishes Sessions from other learning environments such as YouTube and others are the critiques by experts and the real-life project briefs. That way, you get the opportunity to hone your skills at an accelerated pace and start off your portfolio.
All in all, Sessions offers an excellent environment to evolve in design while still working full time and having other commitments (family, friends). If you are self-disciplined, need flexibility to study and have a strong desire to learn, Sessions may be a great solution for you.

Enjoyed the coursework, professors and classmates.

I am learning so much. I'm so excited to start my next semester

Sessions provided me with the knowledge and skills needed to explore and understand HTML and CSS as well as refresh areas of graphic design such as color theory and typography. The instructors have been very helpful in explaining and correcting problems I had come across and gave direction and links into exploring more.

Good experience for the cost!

I was enrolled in the Multimedia Arts Advanced Certificate program and really enjoy all my instructors. They were very helpful and responsive during the duration of their courses. I found the curriculum a bit repetitive and out of date. However, it provided a solid skillset to grow from. The only thing really missing from my certificate program is the ability to interact with my peers. I wish there was a way to interact with other students to play off ideas for projects, share progress, or even learn from one another.

The only other issue I ran into was the absence of communication from my advisor. I was appointed an advisor at the beginning of my certificate program that didn't respond to my calls or emails. After waiting for over a month of radio silence I was told that my advisor "left on bad terms." This was frustrating because of the lack of communication and professionalism. I believe that communicating the situation would have eliminated all the frustration.

Overall, I am happy with my experience at Sessions Colleg!

I certainly learned a lot from the class that I took. I gave it a 4-star rating because there were questions I posed that did not get answered in a helpful manner.

Loved all my classes and that I can keep my own schedule.

Sessions College provided me with an excellent learning platform. It was easy to follow and the site itself easy to navigate. The instructors were knowledgable, kind, professional and a pleasure to work with. I feel they were most helpful in helping me achieve my goals with the Digital Arts Course. Forever grateful for a great experience.
