Absafe Specialist Equipment Avis 

Was looking for good price point for Trident masks, and to confirm what was the expiry date for the product. Jason said he would ring them, and then promptly left me and message and we ended up speaking about the information. Had a price query, and he confirmed both the price and expiry confirmation on what was being shipped. He was patient, easy to work with, and very personable.
Shall be ordering from Absafe again, although not for cables...etc. Thank you Jason.

Ordered 1 x 3M asbestos mask from them. It took more than two weeks to arrive. I live in South Australia. I didn't get a confirmation email - had to contact them multiple times to try and get tracking info/ suss out if I had been scammed or not. Turns out I had not been scammed but they are just terrible at communication, customer service and timely deliveries. Joyce in customer service was not a good experience - could barely hear her - kids screaming in the background. Then she called me back again the next day, having forgotten she had spoken with me the previous day. Would recommend NOT purchasing from Absafe. If you do and you have issues, go straight through to sales to sort it out as customer service is abysmal. Even Tim in sales admitted to me that it wasn't good enough. Tim was the only good experience I had with this company. I ended up telling him I wanted a refund as more than two weeks delivery between SA and Melbourne is completely unacceptable and delayed my project. The day I asked for a refund, what magically turns up that same day? The mask.

Just avoid Absafe! The headache is not worth it. Purchase from a more reputable company. Do better Absafe.

Absafe discounted products on their website without stipulating the reason. You believe you are getting a good price. However once you receive the goods you realise the 10 year life of the product is almost 4 years in. This review has been written in an attempt to get response and resolution.

Ordered a pair of OLIVER 240MM PULL ON RIGGERS BOOT (65-493) - 100% WATERPROOF. The boots were over $50 cheaper than the nearest competitor. Placed order from Sydney, late Saturday night and boots arrived from Melbourne via Aust' Post on Thursday. Full tracking with signature required at my end. Excellent product and excellent service. Couldn't be happier. 10/10.

Bought a pair of boots for $195 after a couple of months the upper split rending them useless. They claimed it was Fair Wear and Tear. I went to Consumer Protection who assessed the case and ordered them to pay a refund. Very poor customer service, almost rude. Don't buy from this company!

Absolute scum, if you leave something in your cart (even because they don't even have it in stock) they keep emailing and texting you, even after you tell them to stop and you unsubscribe.

Thank you for the prompt response. My respirator cartridges arrived within 2 days of ordering, for when I needed them. Good value for money too.

They took time to listen to our difficult situtation and suggest a good solution that makes work easier.

They ordered in exactly what I needed, took about a week (because it came from the other side of the country and covid is slowing things down) but they were polite and helpful. Good to see a store following all the safety rules too.

Hands down the worst customer service I've encountered shopping online. After receiving zero communication for three weeks about some slings I ordered, I place a call to find their whereabouts. They hadn't even been dispatched. I requested that they now be sent express, at no extra cost.
The slings are still yet to arrive. Ordered two months ago.
Companies like this are the reason Australians shop overseas.

I ordered from them online (shipping costs are high, but still), the next day I found they had simply refunded me and followed up with an email that wrote:

"Unfortunately your delivery address for this order was incomplete, and [REDACTED] only allows us to ship directly to the address on the order, so we've cancelled & refunded your order." <- Patently untrue, the address was 100% correct.

No apology, No attempt to fix the issue, No asking if they could have another address, nothing... They just rudely threw my money back in my face and walked away.

I've worked in customer service, and you never issue a refund without the consent of the customer and do everything you can to save the order. After all, that's what the customer wants. This company will treat you're wasting their time.

Also, if Absafe wants to follow this up. No personal details or my name in your follow up comment.

I have used sundstrom products before and the latest purchased from absafe specialist equipment is even better, I bought the kit with storage container, mask, particle and gas filters, this is a superb mask for the best protection and is compatible with the breathable air regulator and breathable air filter for compressor which can be purchased separately, the quality is superb, nothing left out when it comes to your health, all the products I have seen on absafe specialist equipment are excellent quality branded products

I would happily recommend ASE, and will return for future business.
