From start to finish I was at ease with Wills,the lovely gentleman who's birthday it was.
Different options,things I hadn't thought of,were easily put into place.Wills was profesional funny and explained so carefully and took time to listen.
I would recommend this company and no youre in good hands.

I cancelled within 24hrs of signing up…
I cancelled within 24hrs of signing up yet two weeks on I’m still waiting for my refund. Apparently it can take up to 28 days which in my opinion is completely unacceptable. Apparently it’s down to when the director can do it?!

Thank you for your review,
We understand your frustration and concern but feel the need to respond with an explanation. When we took payment for the Will it would have gone through the banks BACS system which is known as the Banks Automated Clearing System.
Meaning that the money leaves your account immediately but takes 3 - 5 days to arrive in our bank. This can also depend on the clearing process and is lengthened by weekends/bank holidays. Returning your money also goes through the BACS process which is subject to clearing protocols and other non-working days.
We see on our records that we cancelled when you requested and began the refund process the moment we received your money. However, we have to have a small leeway for processing to ensure work has not been started and ensure no unwanted documents are sent out. The refund process can be more prompt, but we do quote 14 - 21 days to allow for any delays that are typically not of our making.
We hope that you understand and can have patience with us, we are doing the best we can for you.
Sorry we have not lived up to your expected standards, but we have followed our protocol and promptly started the refund process as requested.

My husband and I booked an appointment…
My husband and I booked an appointment for 9th May @ 11-00, however by 2-00 we had not been contacted so we called the office eventually the call was taken ,
we found that no one knew anything.After lunch break was over in the office we found out the person dealing with us could not contact the office due to no internet!!!. My Husband was not best pleased as he had to use a day of annual leave no one from the office got in touch with us to tell us our appointment had to be re-booked needless to say the appointment yesterday was good. Considering we spent a lot of money we are not happy with no one giving a reason until after lunch the day was wasted.

I've put off making a will for too long
I've been putting off making a will for a bit too long now, but having been reminded of how important it is recently I finally stopped to talk to a rep from Simpler Law who had the thankless task of standing in a Supermarket trying to get passers-by to sign up. They were very flexible when I had to re-arrange my telephone appointment to make the will, and when we finally got in touch the member of the legal team, Sean, who helped me explained everything clearly. There was the opportunity for a bit of upselling from the offer price I'd been given in the shop, but the purpose of everything was explained to me and I understood I had a choice about whether to go for add-ons like protecting the destination of my estate through a Trust (I did) and the monthly support fee (I did not).
I had attempted to be as organised as possible for the appointment but as I generally hate admin there were a few things I had to find out as we went along, but Sean was patient and used the time to flesh out the plan for my will as we went along. I now have a sound plan for the beneficiaries of my modest estate for when my time has come, and a backup plan for where the money goes in the event of an asteroid strike ending all of their lives at the same time as mine, should the lawyers survive.
