Received an Incorrected of £115 payment overdue fine.
Received a £115 payment overdue fine.
Never received the original fine. - Same!!!!
I wonder SIP Parking Limited is a scam company.
"I have been charged for a incorrect parking charge notice, but I have been ignored for appeal process!!!"
I continue to receive another PCN notice even though my car has not been parked in that lot since the first time I was charged for overtime parking. They are asking me to pay £115 for another overdue payment....what a joke is that....
Detail:
In 16th March 2024, I received a "Payment Overdue" letter for a parking violation that I am certain I did not commit.
I did not park my car during their mentioned period, and therefore, I should not be charged any parking or overtime fees. I have never received any parking charge notice through any format, yet the Appeal System indicates that it was issued on 08/02/2024. Consequently, I missed the opportunity to report the issue or appeal within your 21-day permitted time scale. Moreover, they have not provided any photo/ image as proof in their letter, which I cannot believe it is the way SIP to treat their customer like this
Despite I tried to reach out to the company via email to resolve this matter, I have received no response whatsoever. I only received a automatic reply from their email system and mentioned that I need to write another letter to their office.
The lack of communication from SIP parking is concerning and reflects poorly on their customer service. It's disheartening to see a company ignore legitimate inquiries from customers who are seeking to rectify errors in their systems.
Not only did I not park my vehicle during the alleged time frame, but I also never received any prior notification of a parking charge notice, making the situation even more perplexing. It's frustrating to be presented with a demand for payment without any opportunity to address the issue in a timely manner.
I urge Parking Enforcement Services to prioritize customer inquiries and provide timely responses to ensure that such errors are promptly rectified. Ignoring customer concerns only serves to undermine trust and credibility.
Overall, my experience with Parking Enforcement Services has been extremely disappointing. I hope that by sharing my experience, the company will take steps to improve its communication channels and customer service practices.
Lastly, I don't know what can I do for this PCN/ scam, should I pay their mentioned amount of £115 without any confirmation? Should I report to police station for this scam? If you have similar experience like me, please give some advice to me and reply to my review. Thanks.
Received a £115 payment overdue fine
Received a £115 payment overdue fine.
Never received the original fine.
Had to pay as didn’t want a CCJ
NO OPTION TO APPEAL, CANT CONTACT THEM.
I PAID FOR MY PARKING
I WANT MY MONEY BACK
SIP should be closed down
Took my mum out to the theatre in Manchester and after struggling to park last time I went there, opted to pre-purchase parking online via JustPark.
Arrived at our paid for parking destination and left the car there for 3 hours, 15 mins of our allocated 4 hour slot. Returned to find a PCN stating ‘no ticket displayed.’
Wasn’t too worried at this point as I’d paid online so contacted SIP the following morning with all of the details of the online booking, including screenshots. They eventually responded to say the booking wasn’t in the system and the fine had now increased (while I was awaiting their response).
Also contacted JustPark who stated that they simply make the booking and there’s nothing they can do. Presumably they work together on this scam.
Bunch of cowboys who are clearly operating on the fringes of the law (at best) and need shutting down.
Minus 5 stars is more appropriate for…
Minus 5 stars is more appropriate for these clowns. I parked for less than 30 mins spent most of that time trying to pay. Bank rejected payment which never happens, maybe they know it's a scam. Tried to call using number on the board waste of time. Stood in the pissing freezing rain trying to purchase via the app then by phone with no success so had to leave. Now been sent a PCN 🤡
App is poor, avoid if possible.
After arriving in Harvey Towans car park noticed I was required to download this app to pay for my parking which I promptly did. I was then unable to add a payment card. Eventually it accepted my card but I was then unable to pay for my parking session so I left the carpark after 15min. 8 weeks later I receive a final demand for £170 from a debt collection agency saying I have not responded to the mails I was supposed to have received. They said I should speak to the post office regarding this which I did. Their response was if there was mail for my property then I would have received it! I was left with no option other than to pay this amount. Shocking service from Sippi, avoid at all costs.
Being harassed since March 2022
Parked here in March 2022, payed via the app.
Its now Feb 2024 and they have been harrassing me to pay £200 for failing to pay £6 despite me paying it.
This Friday i am being forced to attend a Small Claims Court for something i already pay for.
Absolutely disgusting behaviour and hope they get counter sued into oblivion.
Lots of stress, hope the owner gets his karma.
Nice try SIP! Scammers
Absolute scammers. Parked my car on gun street Manchester car park and walked into town for something to eat. Paid for 5 hours in cash at around 7pm. Was back in my car and gone by 10pm. One week later I receive a parking notice in the post, claiming I hadn't paid for a parking session. Luckily for me I still had the parking ticket I had purchased in my cars door bin. I challenged it claiming I had purchased a correct ticket and even included a picture of said ticket as proof. Luckily they dropped the charge as a "goodwill gesture" but claimed I had "entered my registration incorrectly". Despite the registration on the ticket being an exact match to my vehicle registration and even the one sent on the charge letter. Clearly I hadn't entered it incorrectly and they were hoping I wouldn't still have my ticket. I was very lucky on this occasion that I kept my parking ticket as they normally go straight in the bin when I leave. If you park here keep your tickets as proof! I can't imagine the amount of other people that have parked, thrown away their ticket then received a fine having no proof of purchase. I'm sure they've had money out of many people using this method. Safe to say I won't be using them again.
No star
Cannot rate lower than 1 star but would if I could. This parking company had the gall to fine me for not purchasing a valid parking ticket after their cash machine refused to print a ticket and refused to return all my money; leaving me with no other option to pay, as the card machine was covered up( being obviously broken) andno more change to attempt again. I did appeal, explaining this, when fined but was told I could have contacted their engineering or used the pay by phone app - all well and good if you are 1. Not already late for an appointment or 2. Have left you phone at home, as you dashed out fir said appointment. No use appealing, as they have no inclination that they could be at fault in any way.DO NOT USE!!
Stay away fro arches harding street…
Stay away fro arches harding street paid my parking in full correct amount came back in plenty of time still got a pcn fine cannot contact them had to pay it big con
DO NOt USE THESE PEOPLE - JOKE
On the morning of the 3rd November at 08:46 I entered the car park intending to stay there for around 4-5 hours as I had a meeting to attend at the Stockport Masonic Hall.
I then got out of my car and walked over to the machine to purchase a ticket. Entering my Reg I attempted to pay for 5 hours, selecting the time frame and presenting my phone to use the Apple Pay (NFC) function which the machine described it took as payment.
This failed 2-3 times. Other people wanted to use the machine, so I allowed them in front of me to buy their tickets. Each person used debit or credit cards, one tried her phone as I did and when hers didn't work either she used her debit card.
After the other customers had got their tickets I then tried to use my work phone which has a different card stored on the Apple Pay account. This also didn't work.
Noticing that the cart park used "Pay by Phone" App I tried to use that instead.
On attempting to use the 'Pay by Phone" app I wasn't able to pay for my selected time of 5 hours as my card details were not saved on the app and I didn't have my wallet with me, Barely ever do I carry it due to the use of things like Apple Pay etc.
Since I was unable to purchase a valid ticket for my vehicle I noticed that next to the SIP car park there was a "Ringo" car park machine on the adjacent road, with space for 2 more cars (around 5 in total).
To make sure this was going to work, I logged into the app (Ringo) & bought my ticket.
I got back into my car and drove out of this car park at 09:08, literally meters away and parked there. Off I walked to the Masonic Hall for my work meeting.
At no time did I ever try to deceive, steal car parking time nor refuse to buy a ticket for my car.
The several failed attempts at buying a ticket, allowing others to go in front of me so they could buy their ticket and eventually buying the ticket on the Ringo app, resulted in me being there longer than I'd have expected to be.
Clowns
In reality, 0 star service. Parked at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford last night and arrived at carpark 2 at roughly 1845. I went to leave at roughly, 2030. When I went to machine to pay, it didn't recognise my registration and the options given to me was either, state that I'd had been there 30 minutes and leave for free, or state that I had been there from 2000 till 0759, or pay £15 for 12 hours parking. I left due to barrier being stuck open, and then attempted payment today by both website and by phone. Website still does not recognise my registration and call operator was hard to understand with her broken English, didn't understand or communicate correctly my situation and then instructed me to pay for parking today. Absolutely 0 customer service skills and is that really how you did business. Joke.
Dishonest parking attendant
Dishonest parking attendant - who runs his patch like a racket. I parked in my Campervan which apparently has to pay more than a car despite fitting in a car space. Somewhere in tiny writing on the site it says this apparently - I did not see this - paid 'normal' fee and came back to find a £100 fine. The worst part is the parking attendant saw me pull up - saw me buy the ticket and failed to tell me this - instead as soon as I was out of sight he swooped and ticketed me. He was standing literally 2m away from me all this time - Wish I had read the reviews before - never again will I park in a SIP care park
Paid for parking in Manchester and…
Paid for parking in Manchester and ended up with a 'final notice' letter 2 months after parking there with absolutely no letters sent before the 'final notice'.
You can't call them. You can't email them. If you send them a letter they ignore anything said or asked on it and send a generic reply. I even sent them a bank statement showing I'd paid and they still said the fine was issued correctly!!!!!!!
DO NOT park on SiP car parks.
Utterly uncaring b*st*rds of a company, who care only about making money!
I was recently a volunteer member of a community cast for the opening show at a brand-new arts venue in city centre Manchester. I supported the show for a month, and regularly parked at an SIP car park close by. For the first time ever, I used a parking app to pay. I was terrified of something going wrong, so each time was very, very careful to make sure I’d paid.
But for reasons I’ll never find out, one weekend something went wrong, both days I paid the parking using the app, but afterwards there was no trace of it, and no money had been taken from my card.
As a result I got two PCNS, which I appealed. I was able to evidence that I’d parked there regularly for a month, and paid every other time. And I argued, my travel expenses were being reimbursed by the arts venue, so why on earth wouldn’t I pay EVERY time? I even sent them details of the show I’d participated in, including a free copy of the programme, which cost £5. And of course, I offered to pay the two days parking I owed.
Did they listen? Did they heck! “we have not found sufficient grounds to cancel the charge… it is the driver’s responsibility to ensure a parking session is purchased”.
Clearly utterly uncaring b*st*rds – I doubt if they ever accept an appeal, they’d rather fill their coffers with the huge fines they rake in. £60 which is the reduced “pay soon or we’ll almost double it” rate is extortionate, way in excess of what would be a proportionate amount for the ‘offence’. I wish the government would regulate the industry! And there is a HUGE difference between an idiot who is trying to get away without paying for parking (a true idiot in a ANPR camera world!) and a genuine customer for whom something just went wrong that day.
absolutely horrendous
absolutely horrendous! SCAMMER!
can't believe I received my fine ticket after paying online! this company found ways to rip whatever money they can get their hands on!
The online system had issues with payment this afternoon when I was trying to pay online hence the delayed on payment after parking. I reached out via email to explain and paid for my parking eventually within an hour.
The appeal takes 24days to complete however the fine increment as the time goes by. If the appeal was unsuccessful you will have to pay in full which is 100quids so that they can gain the most on their customer's expense. so absurd.
AVOID
The worst thing about this company is that it's a battle to prove you are right.
I spoke to one lady who sounded so uninterested and bored I was more frustrated at the end of the call.
I put my registration in the salons machine to give me 4 hours. Received a fine. They admitted that there was a problem with the machine and an engineer was sent out to fix it but because out of FEAR I paid the fine they say I accepted I was in the wrong even though they say the machine was not working!
SCAM
Paid for parking on the app, and have been sent a final notice but not received any other letter. This seems like a similar story throughout. We provided proof of purchase and more, and it has been refused. Now we being threatened with legal action.
No other way to contact either- with emails or phone numbers being automated.
SCAM. TERRIBLE COMPANY. AVOID
DO NOT PARK IN SIP - COMPLETE SCAM
NO TELEPHONE NUMBER FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. SENT ME A 'FINAL NOTICE' BUT HAD NO OTHER LETTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MACHINE DIDNT WORK TO PAY, DECLINED 2 X CARDS. NO EMAIL / NO PHONE / CANT APPEAL - ANY SUGGESTIONS?
their machines are not working…
their machines are not working properly, and you end up ending 60 pounds
Car was broken into, Sip couldn’t care less.
Car was broken into on a sip car park in Manchester, we parked there frequently under the impression that the car park is monitored via cctv and an attendant during working hours (as mentioned on signage) however when requesting the cctv footage for the police investigation we found out this was in fact a lie, no recording cameras or attendants. The girl on the phone sounded like I was inconveniencing her so much by daring to call and report this and couldn’t wait to get me off the phone.
Despite how convenient the sip car park near you may be, please consider using a different company and give these snakes non of your hard earned money.
