Totally worth to book this service, They have identified 85 Issue out of tolerance and am happy for their service and am definitely recommend to my friends..

Good professional snagging service. Their service was within my budget and there is nothing to complaint about their service. I recommended their to my friends too. In total 79 issues were identified which I wouldn't have done myself.

Key areas not inspected - READ T&C's!!!
Key areas not inspected and poor follow up service

Requested the snag inspection, all organisation of the inspection started well, with a very efficient whatsapp update service, swift message replies and a large number identified due to a internal finishing job from our developers.

However, key snags were missed due to lack of inspection of key areas of the house and was told to read T&C's as some snags are expected to be missed! No check at all was done to the Loft, inside of the garage and garden. As a result a key snag was missed in that no ducting had been installed in my loft from our upstairs shower.

Had it not been for an issue with an extractor fan God knows when this would have been identified as we trusted a thorough job had been done by professionals. The loft area is listed on their website as part of the inspection survey.

When I made the team aware of this and asked for the report to be overall snagging report to be updated to take back to developers (aka completing part of the job for them by taking the photos and offering to send this to them) I was met with hostility and the same tired excuse that has been used throughout other non - 5 star reviews here that snags will be missed but it says nothing about not inspecting key areas such as the loft or not carrying out thermal inspections.

Additionally, stating you will not be updating the report although you offer this your website is very disappointing.

Worth looking at alternative snaggers even if it means waiting slightly longer

We have just moved in to a new build property and used Snag My New Home to perform a snagging survey. Liam was friendly and incredibly thorough with his checks and noticed so many things that we never would have.

The survey was very easy to book and communication was great throughout - highly recommended!

The process of procuring a snagging survey from Snag My Name Home was easy. The booking team was very responsive to my queries regarding their service and level of insurance before I booked, providing me with much needed assurance. After booking, Lina is helpful and flexible in terms of scheduling and payments. Communication was through WhatsApp and email and regardless of the communication channel, the team was polite and quick to respond.
On the day of the survey, Liam kept in touch with me before arriving. Upon arrival, he prepared shoe covers to put on. I feel that he respected my time and property. Liam manages to identify snags that I was not able to. He is professional and answers all my questions politely and patiently, explaining in detail the requirements of NHBC and NHQB spec.
After the survey, the report arrived in a timely manner. Lina addressed my query even on Sunday.
Overall I'm satisfied with the service.

This company were unbelievably unprofessional and the responses I got were beyond rude. The company agreed to pick up the keys prior to the survey and then refused to on the day claiming the estate agents were shut. I rang the company everyday for over a week with no one getting back to me and eventually after more rude messages I managed to get half of the money back despite them never stepping foot in the property. Do not use!!

I used Snag My New Home for a snagging inspection based on the positive reviews, but my experience has been disappointing. The initial report identified 50 snags, but within days, I found five more significant issues myself. This raised concerns about the thoroughness of the inspection and left me questioning whether the service was worth the cost.

When I shared my concerns, the company responded by emphasizing their terms and conditions rather than addressing the quality issue meaningfully. I was told not to expect them to catch everything, which felt dismissive. While I understand that no inspection can be perfect, I expected a higher level of professionalism and attention to detail.

After receiving the report, I also received an email asking me to leave a review. It included the following statement:
"For your valuable time and 5 Star reviews, we will email you £20 Amazon e-voucher within 24 hours."

This seems like an attempt to manipulate reviews and encourage misleading feedback, which raises serious ethical and legal concerns. I now question whether many of their 5-star reviews are genuine. Such practices are not only unethical but also likely illegal under UK consumer laws. I am seriously considering reporting this behavior to the relevant authorities.

To make matters worse, here is the final response I received after raising my concerns:
"Your 1 review will not cause any damage because our 96% reviews are 5 stars. Only 4% are *** customers who have no brain. Next time when you book, read the terms and conditions, you ****. Now you can leave the review :)"

This response was deeply unprofessional, offensive, and disrespectful, showing a shocking lack of customer care. It has only reinforced my dissatisfaction with the service and the company’s attitude.

In summary, my experience was far from what I had expected. If you are considering using this company, I would advise caution—the positive reviews may not accurately reflect the service you will receive. I cannot recommend them based on my experience.
