I was looking for a solar battery…
I was looking for a solar battery system for my home in QLD. I requested for 3 quotes from SolarQuotes and within a day, all 3 companies suggested by SolarQuotes made contact with me. I made a decision and my 16kWH Sigenergy battery system was fixed in 2 days after I paid my deposit. Amazing.

Making it easy for older retirees.
The fact that someone with all the facts and knowledge of everything solar would look at my quotes and sort through the mounds of information was invaluable.
We eventually chose one of Solar Quotes recommended installers and the system will be installed in the very near future.
Just a fantastic service and very prompt in answering every query and reviewing every quote submitted to them.

Thanks but no thanks…
Neither companies recommended by SolarQuotes would do a site visit. A company not related to SolarQuotes did a site visit and we went with them instead. A site visit is important for logistics and is an opportunity to talk face to face. Sorry, the quality of service from a company refusing a site visit and quoting from Google earth and a couple of photos is a red flag for me.

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the feedback and apologies the experience didn’t meet expectations.
I’ve looked into the details on those installers’ accounts and noticed their preferences around site visits weren’t set correctly in our system. They used to do site visits but this is no longer the case. I’ve now updated and filtered this so they won’t be matched with customers who are specifically looking for home visit.
Thanks again for taking the time to let us know, and I’m glad you were able to find a company that worked for you in the end.
Kind regards,
Ned.
Great solar resource.

Online information is good. Referred business was of no value.
We liked the information related to all the solar system elements and what to think about regarding the various parts of the potential system being sort.
Only one installer was referred to us, visited and did not seem positive that they could manage the job. We then sort out two more companies for quotes that we had heard of. Both came promptly and submitted quotes and revised them on our request. All this was managed before the referred contractor called us with a price, nothing in writing, they were $6k more than the other two who were with in $1000 of each other.
The referred contractor was basically a waste everyone's of time.

Hi Andrew,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We put a lot of effort into helping people understand the components of a solar system so they can make informed decisions.
I’m sincerely sorry to hear that the installer we referred didn’t meet expectations. What you’ve described is not our standard and I'll be following up on this. I'll be contacting the installer to understand why the ball was dropped here. It is possible we would reconsider recommending them through SolarQuotes
Thanks again for the honest feedback, it only helps us improve.

Both selected companies were extremely professional to deal with
Both selected companies provided very quick quotations. Were very pleasant to deal with. Selected supplier quoted lower cost of 4 Companies dealt with.
On site attendance by selected supplier was extremely prompt and very accommodating in regard to the design and installation of system quoted.

Hi Ian,
Thanks for your feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
Sincere apologies to hear the quotes didn’t meet your expectations. Pricing can vary significantly depending on the system size, battery brand, installation complexity, and current market conditions. We aim to connect homeowners with reputable, accredited installers who offer quality products and workmanship but that doesn’t always mean the lowest upfront price.
If you have concerns about a particular battery brand or quote, our team is very happy to review the proposals with you and provide independent guidance. We want you to feel confident in whichever decision you make - just send me the quote here: ned@solarquotes.com.au I would be keen to follow up and understand what battery was quoted.
Thanks again for leaving us a review,
Ned.

The system is easy to use and narrows down your requirements very effectively. Three business names were given to us. In our case one responded immediately even on a weekend, requesting easy to provide information to assist their proposal to us. Tiger proved to be exceptional in the knowledge and expertise in laying out in layman's terms how our system worked and the why they propose the brands they used. Very impressed with the entire process so far.
