Solent Beds & Furniture Avis 

Instore service good but delivery service was very poor - we had a heavy mattress delivered and on ordering we were told it would be taken to room of choice, but when it arrived they dumped it in the porch refusing to enter citing lockdown restrictions - which is rubbish as tradesmen are still allowed to operate. We were given no prior warning that this was the case and the delivery men couldn't care less.

Description of product describes it being made of oak and oak veneer , when it arrived a large part of it was in fact pine so quite misleading.

My item was in stock so only had to wait a couple of days for delivery. From order to arranging delivery and the delivery itself was quick, efficient and problem free. The delivery guys were exceptionally nice, good old fashioned customer service like it should be.

Communication was excellent, so everything went to plan. Deliveries were on time or even earlier in the one instance. All Covid regulations adhered to.

With tiers changing and lockdown I had to delay delivery of my mattress a few times, Solent beds were excellent and flexible. In the end we managed to get a mutually convenient day, they rang in advance, confirmed details and delivered as promised. Pricing was as competitive as online. Great local service.

Really impressed with their customer service. Staff were helpful without being overbearing, they just seemed to know when we had a question and they somehow appeared. Delivery team were fast and efficient, they even came back that evening to drop off some fittings that had fallen out of the packaging. Also, great to support local businesses at this time.

The bed we ordered was in stock, then it wasn't and was offered something else. I then received 'jasmines' email confirmation with details GDPR???? Although you did try and recall it... Not great

We bought new bedroom furniture, it was all delivered and placed within the room with great care, it was all very well packed with no damage, and of a very high quality. We would recommend Solent Beds and Furniture and definitely use them again. Many thanks to all staff.

We purchased two new Hypnos mattresses from Solent Beds. We visited the store to try the different mattresses and were assisted by Sam who was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. I contacted Solent Beds on a few other occasions via email and was assisted by Chanette who was also very helpful and accommodating. Overall I was very impressed with the service received and I would definitely come back to the store for future purchases.

Bought the Havana living room furniture and three bedroom sets. Really pleased with the way the furniture turned out once put together. Good, sturdy quality that looks great and the finished pieces are a real substantial pieces of furniture. So happy with the end results, would definitely recommend. Some furniture was delayed in the delivery due to covid, totally understandable and staff were always helpful when I phoned to chase up. Will definitely be using Solent beds again as we continue to redo our house. Thanks Solent beds, one very happy customer.
