My friends had Conrad McGarvey from SouthAmerica plan their amazing trip to Patagonia. I was unable to go as I had a previous commitment. Two weeks before the trip (planned almost one year prior), I found I was able to go. I contacted Conrad who worked day and night to get me in on the already set trip. This was no small feat: three domestic flights, 5 hotel rooms, many vans which had to now pick up one more passenger and luggage, excursions, dinner reservations and a boat reservation! Conrad was able to get all of this accomplished within a matter of days keeping me well informed of costs and options (single supplement) throughout the entire process. I was so grateful for his quick communication emailing and calling, and his enthusiasm for the adventure. The trip itself, first class. Every accommodation was wonderful. There is nothing I would change. How wonderful to have a travel consultant who will stop short of nothing to accommodate a traveler.

I used SouthAmerica.travel to book a trip for my husband and me after his return from deployment. It was pretty much effortless!. Martin Kaleta was our travel coordinator and he went above and beyond to make sure our desires were met without breaking the bank. He corresponded with me over email and phone at times that were convenient for me. He shared his personal experience of his travels to South America, which helped solidify your decision to travel to both Peru and Ecuador. I wish we had more time in South America, but the time we spent there was FANTASTIC because of Martin and his team. When I plan my next trip down south, I will (without hesitating) use SouthAmerica.travel.

Can't say enough about Sinan at South America travel!!!! We started planning early and had many changes. He took each change with grace and was very helpful working through all our changes. In the end, everything went well until one night it didn't...Sinan fixed our problem immediately and checked to see if our requests were met. He was with us every step of the way....thank you so much, Sinan.
The guide in Santiago was amazing. She knew how to work with the red tape to get us to Easter Island...can't thank her enough...sorry can't remember her name. We enjoyed the guide in Buenos Aires and the dinner and flamenco show that was arranged. In Ushuaia..our guide there was incredible !!!! Not only did we get an excellent informative tour of the area, but also much needed help to get us on the ship for our Cape Horn and Beagle channel tour. The only disappointment was our guide in Puerto Arenas although she did attempt to give us information about the area on our way to the airport, I feel if we had had a guide similar to the one in Santiago, we would have had our luggage forwarded to our next flight and had our ticket for our next flight instead of waiting in many lines to collect our luggage, going through security line and then the ticket line to get next flight...by the way it was the same airline...going through immigration and security ... THREE HOURS !!!! Ah, such is travel but it could have been avoided for us senior citizens.

Clara put together a very good tour of Peru for us and was happy to tweak it as needed. It all worked perfectly and we enjoyed it very much. Thank you Clara.

My daughter and I toured Uruguay , Argentina and Brazil 3/3/20-3/19/20. The guides were amazing and it was a wonderful private tour! I was very impressed .

My trip was organized and arranged by South America Travel with upmost attention to detail and the best experience. The whole customized trip plan was executed by their local tour operators with such an incredible effort, guides that spoke very good English and amazingly knowledgeable about all of the sights and the areas we were visiting. The whole effort was flawless and nothing left to chance. Well chosen hotels, local tours, visits to wineries, tasting and Lunches. Truly a memorable trip.

March 3,2020-March 19 , 2020- My daughter and I toured Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil to celebrate her college graduation. We were thrilled by the excitement of Buenos Aires and Rio de Janerio, and enjoyed the natural beauty of Iguazu Falls and Búzios . We met amazing people , and had some very impressive and professional tour guides. It was a wonderful trip and I would certainly suggest this to anyone looking for a superior travel experience .

Conrad McGarvey was our consultant in Buenos Aires and he did a fantastic job. My wife and I provided only a general outline of the towns and cities we wished to visit in Argentina and Conrad did the rest. He recommended, and eventually booked the hotels and arranged the day to day itineraries, guides and transport. We were met by local guides at each airport, transported to selected hotels, provided with guides for private or small group tours and all were exactly on time, friendly and knowledgeable. This vacation ran like clockwork and no one could have done a better job than Conrad. We will certainly rely on Conrad McGarvey and South America Travel for any future trips to South America

Booked a trip to South America tailored to our interests and preferences. As first time visitors to South America it was difficult to choose from the huge number of destinations available. Claudia took time to understand what we would enjoy and skilfully helped us to decide where to go, what to see and where to stay. She was patient and knowledgeable, suggesting small hotels and excursions to fit our specific interests, and always mindful of our budget. Our itinerary looks amazing!

I worked with Sinan to plan a trip to Chile and Argentina. The organization and recommended activities were fantastic. I would highly recommend them. One piece of advice is do your own research into tour suggestions and hotels. The travel agent can't fully anticipate your likes and dislikes. Make sure you ask questions regarding the exact location of hotels and what's involved in the tours such as travel time etc.
