My wife and I have just returned form our travels to South America and the Antarctic. We used South America Travel for all our bookings apart from the Antarctic expedition which wed booked through a cruise company, and we have to say that we were blown away by the service we received. From the day we started dealing with Simone Costa at their office, who was absolutely superb, to the day we left Santiago, everything worked like clockwork. Simone was terrific in suggesting and compiling our itinerary, and every guide, vehicle and driver we had was exceptional, and punctual to the minute. The tours that had been put together and the hotel accommodation were outstanding. having the pleasure of our own private tours where possible also allowed us to tailer things a bit to our interests and ability. We'd recommend anyone to use South America Travel in setting up a trip to the continent, as their attention to detail is outstanding.

Larry and I generally are self guided independent travelers. Planning a trip To explore South America was a challenge requiring many border crossings and in country flights, So we contacted SouthAmerica.travel for some ideas. We worked with Sean, and provided our time line, anticipated budget, our wish list And style of travel. Sean created a rough draft and Together we created a month long Adventure throughout South America that exceeded our expectations! The trip was seamless, all connections private tours, lodgings, transfers came together as planned! Our experiences in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Chile were all outstanding. We loved the culture, the natural beauty, the food and drink experience, and most of all the generosity and kindness of the people. Sean was easily available as a resource during our trip, we are so grateful to the insightfulness of Sean to help us craft an adventure that was perfect for us! Clara arranged our trip to Uruguay and it was wonderful. We got to experience so many things about the culture of this South American country. She fine-tuned our itinerary so that we got to see all that we wanted to see plus more. All pick-ups were on time and the guides and drivers were great, and so knowledgeable. We did city tours, wine-tastings, estancia visits, bicycle rides, and saw beautiful beach towns. We tasted mate and saw a Carnaval show. Great memories were made. This is the third trip that Clara has arranged for us. We visited Chile and Argentina in the past with her help.

Very friendly advisor - Jason. Always answered my emails or called when he said he would call. He was so helpful in putting together an itinerary for us as we had no idea where to go or what to do!!! I worked with Jon to set up a custom trip to Chile/Argentina. His choice of hotels was excellent!! We traveled a lot through both countries during our 3 week stay, many connections with airports, buses and boats to accomplish this trip and without a problem. It was the best adventure we've ever had. We've used other tour/travel companies that were very good but this was the best, I highly recommended Jon and South American Travel.

The whole trip was put together really well. We were able to enjoy the countries without having any worries about where and when we were supposed to be! A very well planned trip! Thank you Jon!

We haven't taken our trip yet, so I don't know the outcome or how it will go, but the booking process has been wonderful. I have been working with Jon and he has been very attentive and very patient with all of my questions and very helpful in helping me arrange the perfect trip to Peru. Just based on my interactions so far, I believe I chose the perfect agency to help me with this trip!

We had a fantastic trip. SouthAmerica.travel (Simone) handled all of the logistics from the time we touched down in Buenos Aires until we took off 3 weeks later.

This included being met after every flight and being taken to our hotels, a few days of private tours, and some group tours.

The chosen hotels were always great, even though some of them were not close to the city center. The hotel Los Cauquenes in Ushuaia was exceptional! The all-included experience in Hotel Las Torres in Chile was also fantastic.

The one thing we would change is the group tour to the lakes near Ushuaia, which was stretched out for a full day and should have been a half-day tour.

Simone did a great job of planning and booking; she was very responsive, and we felt that we were being looked after all the time.
