I was nervous for the first pack walk with my reactive dog but she gets better every time we attend. Its so well structured and everyone has support and tips on hand, helps with confidence massively! Great morning out every time 😃.

First time I’d gone with my hubby and our to be one year old lab. Great group, safe setup and good dog community social gathering. Many dogs and breeds and different needs, some nervous, reactive and some just being puppies. Adam and the gang are welcoming and Adam makes an effort to chat to everyone giving tips along the way. Enjoyed it a lot.

Sophie was lovely, very kind and knowledgeable without being judgemental.

Raw food and cold press is the best we have found! Always delivered quickly and lots of flavours. Have found all training videos very helpful with my now 7 month old pup.

Thank you for todays zoom meeting, It was great to get a better understanding of what socialising looks like, Adam was great at explaining things, he really understood what I want to achieve. I will give you a update in a few months.

Placed order in Sunday and delivered on Tuesday... Fantastic considering shipping is at no extra cost. Small issue but was handled and resolved super quick.

The Facebook group is a must join, together with the app.. well worth the £11.99 a month.

Had a training lesson with Sophie on Monday 3 March 2025 with my Weimaraner Bella. Sophie made the experience very enjoyable and easy to understand - she is a very competent trainer. I would highly recommend the Southend Dog Trainer and in particular Sophie and would encourage you to follow them on Instagram.

If you’re on the fence about booking with Sophie because she isn’t the face of the company please ignore that and just book with her. She is absolutely amazing! I knew she’d be great, but I did not expect her to be as wonderful as she was/is! I’m walking away feeling more confident in my training and ready to implement all of her tips and wisdom. Phenomenal trainer, wonderful experience.

Aaron was brilliant. So knowledgable, calm, very good communicator and extremely empathetic. Offered some advice and guidance that could potentially save our dogs life

Went to see Sophie today for a one on one training session with my German shepherd,really pleased with my visit and Sophie was great,made me feel relaxed and she took her time to answer any questions I had and I come away with some great techniques to use on our dog walks,highly recommend Sophie and Southend dog training

Sophie just really gets Penelope and I. She has been teaching us how to stay calm in difficult situations and enjoy our walks more

If you want clear straightforward advice on how to handle your dog this is the place to go. We were given the confidence and knowledge we lacked to deal with our reactive dog and since returning home we are already seeing the difference in not just our dog but in us too. 100% worth driving almost 500 miles to get there!

Aron came to my 4 very different dogs. A rotti who would not let any man in the house a sausage who does not stop barking a needy winey cockerpoo and our perfect shar pei. I am blown away 2 hour home visit and all my dogs are completely changed not only did he put systems in he educated me. Can not recommend them highly enough. Aron thank you. You are the Harry Potter of the dog world

Sophie was amazing today. Really helping me with my confidence and reassurance and giving me guidance on where improvements are needed and where I’m actually doing well with Franco! Gemma in the office is also helpful abs always gets back to me if she’s busy when I call!

Met the legend that is Aaron again today to help with Rocco's training.

Within 5 minutes of taking the lead, he showed us things we thought were previously impossible with Rocco eg walking around other dogs without issue.

Aaron was very reassuring and talked us through the process very well. I can't recommend him enough.

Also worth mentioning is that Gemma in the Booking Team was exceptional in the help she provided, her humour and the fact she called back when she promised to so. She went out of her way to help book our appointments at a convenient time for us and made sure we got to see Aaron as requested. Altogether SDT are the dogs bollocks (pun intended).

We will be going back for more sessions. Thank You SDT, fantastic all around!!

Lee and Samantha came to our home earlier for our german shepherd Otis, they were absolutely amazing.
My mum has struggled with him for a while and his anxiety, although it’s only been today we can see how skilled they are at their job. Otis was relaxed and for the first time in months I felt comfortable around him and now I have hope he is safe to be in our home as a family dog with continued training.
Would highly recommend.

Sophie has my back!

Just feel that we have the support of SDT for all sorts of reasons and any setbacks are reassuringly handled to make us feel that it’s ok, our lovely boy is still a lovely boy just keep on moving forward. Great lifeline! Thanks Sophie!

Sincere gratitude to Sophie for a wonderful zoom consultation. I desperately needed to be pointed into the right direction to work on leash skills, reactivity and recall for my two rescue dogs! Thank you for outlining training a structure and hitting the key points of things to keep in mind to ensure I am communicating properly. I am excited to embark on this adventure and greatly appreciate the support. Also, thank you for making me feel comfortable and the many laughs shared!

An incredible couple of hours. All of the help and training made so much sense and my dog and I will be so much better off for it. I never felt judged just supported and listened to. Thanks so much to Adam and all at SDT, it was such a positive experience.
