Hozelock Spare Parts (UK) Avis 

I am on my 4th up and over sprinkler they all pack up and it's impossible to see why. They talk about calcium build up but they are all clean and the spray is massive but will not oscillate useless

I just had to smash my hozelock sprayer with a hammer to get it to release the hose. That was after it jammed in one spray position. Complete rubbish product.

Over priced rubbish i bought a spray gun and sprinkler 3 months ago, the spray gun is leaking and the sprinkler keeps getting stuck in one place, absolute rubbish

Purchased a tuff hose from Tatton park flower show 2024 following the advise from one of their representatives while there,hose looked good,didn’t kink which was exactly what I wanted

Payed cash so no card receipt
Absolute rubbish up to now it has split 7 times and I have had to cut the hose and re connect,not even had for 12 months,kept indoors during winter and only used during this hot spell of weather,in fact I have spent more time repairing it than using it
Contacted hozelock but as I don’t have a receipt they are not interested

I can only go on the customer service I've received from Charlie - he's replaced the plastic piece I complained about. Still think it's a design fault and is no where near the quality of the old one we have. Only time will tell if this new one lasts as long.

I have two of their auto reel hoses, and while moving home we lost a little bracket off one, and the side panel of another. Neither of these can be purchased as spares, so we have one that will not work at all because of a tiny little bracket, and the other that just looks terrible.

The suggestion when calling support was that we will have to buy both products new to get the spares.

Genius, and very helpful. I will not buy another product from them ever again.

My 5 star rating is based upon customer service, not the product. The spring on my retractable hose reel disintigrated and so it would no longer retract. I called customer services to ask what guarantee applied, and they said 5 years, provided I could produce the receipt. Luckily I found it, only to discover that I had bought it five years and 10 days prior, so I called customer services back and spoke to Ross, hoping they might at least give me a discount on a new one, but he said that was near enough and I could have a brand new replacement. I had to send them a copy of the receipt, plus take a short video showing the broken unit, which I did straight away. I received a reply within 30 minutes, saying I would receive my new hosereel within 3-5 days. From my first enquiry, the whole business took an hour to be concluded, to my complete satisfaction.

Hozelock products have plummeted in quality.
Were the gold standard garden-level gear; trustworthy and worth the price.
However, the last 3 reels purchased have all leaked dreadfully from the inlet.
Pop open the innards and compared to the old green, every critical part of the grey stuff is flimsier.
What has failed on each reel, one from day one, is the white plastic water inlet, noticeably lighter than the old ones, and apparently all 3 reels already have the 'revised' version.

Will get around to jamming full of silicone, as no amount of PTFE or fatter O-ring sorts it, but basically shouldn't have to be mucking about and fitting an inline valve before the reels.
Rather poor.
Hope they sort one day, but they've been bad for years.

We recently purchased a Hozelock hosepipe, with open reel storage. The quality is noticeably poor all round. Cheap plastic fittings, that keep popping off as soon as water is applied, the connection to the hosereel leaks continuoulsy, no matter how you secure the fittings and the hose kinks at the slightest pull.

I would strongly advise anyone in the market for buying a hosepipe, do not buy Hozelock.

Really poor quality hose, cheap and nasty

Avoid...very poor quality.
After just 3 months of use...leaks from hose connectors and had to replace rubber seals.
The HozeLock Spray gun is the pits! (my second one in 3 months)...water constantly drips from the spray head, it seems like it can't be taken apart to repair.
Next time I'll buy Karcher.

Hozelock 2year warranty not worth the paper it written on, Exchange my Hozelock multi spray gun on 14/10/22 trigger on gun not working, my local garden centre where I purchased the gun did this for me. New multi spray gun has lasted approx 17months and same problem has occurred again, unable to find my receipt I contacted Hozelock customer service only to be told my 2 year warranty started from the first faulty gun not the replacement, this effectively means you don’t get a warranty with any replacement that you get from Hozelock, THEY MUST BE HAVIN A LAUGH!! What a pathetic way to handle customer complaints.

Don’t bother ! These hoses and hose deals are the worst designed products ever made . Whoever designed these need to be sacked . They tangle up every 5 seconds and leak what an awful product

Hose Lock Products are absolute rubbish. A new very expensive hose was purchased to replace the old auto hose. It got used once and the pipe bulged. Split and leaks. Started using the old one again as its better quality. I also have purchased the most expensive guns they have, and they all break due to cheap plastic after less than one seasons use. Customer service is non existent. Never again will I buy hose lock.

Do not waste your money buying hoselock hosepipes. Spend over the odds on a 50 metre length of apparently kink resistant hose. The hose did nothing but kink and has split in a number of places within three months of normal use. Absolute garbage. Avoid at all costs.

Arrogance and ignorance from the few staff
taking complaints via telephone and if you press your complaint too much they will cut the call. Below average intelligence of the the people taking calls is noticeable. Children could make better products.

Got in touch with customer support for a defective gun, the immediately dismissed any responsibility claiming it was damage caused by frost. I told them it couldn't be possible because I had stored it in a heated garage hence that couldn't be the root cause, so they asked for more pictures. After providing more pictures they immediately turned 180 degrees, moving forward with the warranty replacements process, silently acknowledging the fact that their initial diagnosis was wrong. They did not apologize but only asked for the invoice. When provided they told me that the seller I purchased from was not part of the "right" ones for them, so I was on my own.
So, first of all, they showed who they really are, trying to blame the customers for they garbage products, and secondly, after silently admitting I have all the rights to get a warranty replacement they found shady way to avoid honouring the warranty claim.
This isn't a behaviour I'd have expected from what I had the perception of being a reputable and trustworthy brand. It isn't that reputable and trustworthy after all.

DO NOT BUY HOZELOCK PRODUCTS, FIGHT AGAINST THIS SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES!

Purchased a pond pump and on first occasion got spares no problem. This time, August 2023, they sent me the wrong items, told me I had asked for the wrong items, but I had read details from previous invoice and bulb box. They then sent me foc the correct bulb, again told me I had got the details wrong. Returned items, but only received refund for items and not postage. Would not recommend this company. Also it takes c.7-10 days for them to reply to e-mail queries and their phone system is appalling!

I had cause to make a complaint about a spray gun that came with a compact hose. The spray gun split down the handle seam. I asked for a replacement not thinking it would happen. To my surprise a very pleasant lady sent a prompt reply and on sending a photo of the said gun has agree to send a replacement. I have used Hozelock products for many years and never had a problem before, l am delighted with their service.

Last week I wrote to Customer Services re concerns over my Hozelock Irrigation Programmer and the fact I was having to repeatedly replace it’s batteries …
Within 3 working days, I had a response by post and a solution to the frustrating problem.
I rate this as exceptional support and service, and it’s a pity more Companies are unwilling to do this! Thanks.
