All was fine with our blind until it failed literally a few weeks out of guarantee. I was happy to pay a reasonable cost for a repair but was told it could cost around £650. I felt this was excessive given the blind wasn't cheap and had only been lightly used. The company refused to contribute anything to the cost. Luckily I found a local company who repaired the blind for around a third of the price quoted.

I purchased blinds from Specialists Blinds for my flat and they did an outstanding job. My new blinds (white bamboo wood) are stunning. The service I received was impeccable from start to finish. The office staff were very helpful and dealt with my enquiry promptly, the specialist who visited me at my home was very knowledgeable and greatly assisted me in selecting the best blinds for my windows, and the surveyor who came round twice, first to measure my windows and then to fit my new blinds, did an amazing job with the installation and walked me through how they work. I would highly recommend Specialists Blinds - you get a personal service at a very affordable price.

THE Specialist Blind Co fitted 13 blinds in our kitchen/dining/living area. Their quote was by far the most competitive, and their product was the best designed of all that we had seen (and we had seen a lot!). They were accurately measured and expertly fitted. We are very happy!

All the Specialist Blinds staff we dealt with were friendly and professional in everything they did, from quoting their best price up front right through to the installion of our made to measure conservatory blinds. Their Duette product appears to be top quality and has already made our conservatory habitable on hot days when it would otherwise have been a no go zone.

From start to finish the job was done professionally. We needed our skylight to have a blind to prevent sun damage to our furniture and to keep the living space cooler during the hot days. We researched some blind manufacturers online but the best reviews were specialist blinds. Not long after submitting a request for call back we received a call from the sales department. We arranged for a suitable date for a visit and initial assessment of what needed to be done. The sales person who attended knew exactly what we wanted and chose a colour that we already had in mind making it easier for us to choose. The fitter attended and measured up and within 6 weeks the blind was fitted perfectly with no mess or faults. We were extremely impressed. Since the fitting we have used the blind which is operated by remote control battery when the sun is strong. It has made our living space cooler and it looks good. I highly recommend this company for its professionalism , timing , fitting and quality of item.

From the first point of contact to the installation of the blinds the service has been outstanding. Judy Mulholland, the lady I initially spoke with, was very helpful and knowledgeable. I was then contacted by Arnaud Keat who confirmed a visit to measure up and quote for the job, which took place within a couple of days. Arnaud, again, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and we agreed a deal there and then. On the day of installation, I was fortunate enough to have Rob Scott carry out the work. A really lovely chap, very professional and meticulous, and I could not have been happier.

Very pleased with our blind. Our sales contact Grant was helpful and gave great advice and we chose a solar rechargeable blind. Our fitter James was beyond polite and helpful when he fitted our lantern blind on one of the hottest days of the year. Left neat and tidy, we are very satisfied and would recommend

We had a roller roof lantern blind (remote controlled) fitted last summer across a roof lantern in our south-facing kitchen. It is a God-send! We use it summer and winter on sunny days and cold nights. The room could be uncomfortably hot and too bright on a sunny summer day - now it is cool and pleasant with lovely diffused light. The solar panel works a treat and as yet has not needed a mains recharge. It is a great piece of kit and was well worth the cost for us. Specialist Blinds were great to deal with from the outset. We had a few quotes and they were the best. Paul, the surveyor, was excellent - he really knows his products. He brought a demonstration model which was really helpful.

I recently had the pleasure of using Specialist Blinds for our new blinds, and I am extremely satisfied with the entire experience from start to finish. The installation process was handled with utmost professionalism. The installation gentleman was courteous, took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and ensured that the work area was left tidy after completing the job. His friendly demeanor made the experience even better.

The service provided by Specialist Blinds was excellent. Although the blinds were a bit on the expensive side, the high quality and perfect fit for our needs more than justified the cost. The blinds are exactly what we were looking for, and their durability and aesthetic appeal are evident.

This must be one of the best suppliers we have used.
From placing the order, to coming out to measure, including providing a good selection of materials, to placing the order (no hard sell!!) to arranging a date for installation was seamless.
The supplier also arranges a professional fitter to come out and double check the measurements and the same person subsequently comes out and fits the blind.
The teams are knowledgeable, professional, friendly and quite honesty highly recommendable.
Note: this is the only company that does the end-to-end product manufacture to fitting.

We have a wintergarden on our roof terrace on the 4th floor with a steel frame. We have asked many companies to provide a quote for shading. The steel frame is thin and angled, therefore it is not a straightforward task to install shading and the other companies we asked were a bit reluctant. Also, as it is on the 4th floor, I was afraid of damage in case the installer is not competent. Richard and Jack from Specialised blinds did a great job. They transformed the entire look of our wintergarden which has now become a playroom for the kids. Also, when one blind broke, Richard was available to instruct how to get it down at 11 pm on Saturday night which I really appreciate. He came in a few days later to fix the issue, putting in extra screws. I would definitely recommend Richard for installing your blinds, he is very experienced and trustworthy and has an eye for details making your room look fab.

We struggled to find blinds for our wooden bifolds. It would’ve been easy if they were UPVC or metal bifolds, but they are not!
The Specialist Blind Company came out to see us. They were able to match the blind mounting to the colour of our doors and there was a great selection of actual blinds to choose from.
The whole process from start to finish was really easy and everyone we dealt with was really nice.
They are now fitted and we are SO pleased with them!

We recently had electric blinds fitted on sliding doors in our kitchen and the roof of our conservatory, as well as manual blinds on the conservatory windows.

Our experience from start to finish was fantastic. Arnaud provided the quote and was very professional and helpful, working with our budget to provide us with the best solution possible. Lex then did the measuring and fitting and was a pleasure to have in our home. Professional, courteous and polite. He did a great job installing the blinds and took time to explain how everything worked and to assure us we could contact him any time we may need any help. He tidied up after himself and left the place spotless.

We’re so far delighted with the blinds and happy to have had a seamless experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Incredibly impressed by every person I came into contact with throughout the whole process. 'Above and beyond' from initial phone contact through demo and on to installation - friendly, expert and professional service. I was kept informed every step of the way and the new blinds are an absolute joy (both tension and electric, whole house). They look stunning, and function smoothly and quietly. We have huge modern glass windows going into triangles in the roof - the blinds work like magic and tidy themselves away when not required - you wouldn't notice them. Would absolutely recommend

So far, so good! I've had my blinds for about 6 months now and they haven't disappointed. I went for Duette side blinds (the hexagonal shaped ones) to fit my conservatory windows. They look beautiful and seemed to really help keep in the heat during winter. The fitting was done quickly and neatly, and I've found them easy to maintain. (I haven't really had to do anything...!) I'm curious to see how well they fare during summer and if they block any heat at all, but at least they will provide some shade which is what I really wanted.

Couldn’t be happier with the service we have received from Specialist Blinds. From first contact to the blinds being fitted we got a first class, helpful and friendly service. Equally important we are impressed with the quality of the blinds themselves. Whilst, perhaps, not the cheapest they are excellent quality and good value for the money. Highly recommend this company as they do what they say they’ll do and do it on time.
