Made everything easy when our dog was taken ill. They handled his passing with empathy, sent a letter of condolence and communicated with the vet quickly to get everything sorted.
What an apt name. Spot On have been just that. Claim dealt with quickly and efficiently. Follow up queries answered instantly. Claims process very simple. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Medication is an added extra
When I took out the policy and it stated as additional extra being - therapy treatment, behavioural treatments and home medicine - never did I think this was medication needed after a vet visit. I could have attended daily for it to be administered therefore covered, but the fact I took meds home and self administered it’s not covered.. never in my life of having dogs and insurance never known medication no to be covered!! Will go with a named insurer in future as to be honest when you add this on your not saving anything

Claim dealt with very quickly
Following the sudden illness of our 8 year old labrador, she was taken into our vets for treatment. Despite their best efforts, sadly, she did not survive. Our vet's practice helped with the insurance claim. Spot On dealt with the claim within days. The whole process was very straightforward. All correspondence from Spot On was very respectful and kind.

Really impressed with spot on. Prompt payment, despite being online easy to contact and next day email response. Have had to make 2 claims recently( different pets) hassle free. Also prefer excess with no penalty for older pets. Have all 3 of mine insured with spot on and recommend them highly

Cheaper to go on comparison sites and redo than the price they give.
when i had to claim on the dental plan they tried everything to not pay out.
however they are quick at responding to emails which is a big plus point.
improvement to be made - offer the existing customer the best price first time.

Your renewal price would match a new quote, provided all pet details remain the same, with the added benefit of continuous cover from your original policy start date, If you are quoting with different pet details, you will get a different quote than your renewal documents.

Of course like all insurance companies, read the small print before committing, as we didn’t insure for drugs or think about the excess. Our mistake, not theirs🫣

we have been with spot on now 3 years with our french bulldog and can't fault the service and honesty you get from spot on. just had to have our boy sorted and again spot on paid out fast.
Would i recommend SPOT ON to anyone, Yes I would as if you love your pet then get them covered with them a company you can trust.
