Made everything easy when our dog was taken ill. They handled his passing with empathy, sent a letter of condolence and communicated with the vet quickly to get everything sorted.
What an apt name. Spot On have been just that. Claim dealt with quickly and efficiently. Follow up queries answered instantly. Claims process very simple. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Quick and Easy to do.
I just filled in the claim forms, sent them to spot on, They then got in touch with my vets to confirm everything. SPOT ON kepted me updated with emails along the way and the moneys owned were put into my bank account within a couple of weeks.

Deal with claims fairly quickly though…
Deal with claims fairly quickly though you have to set the claims up yourself rather than the vet doing this. If you use different vets, then you need to create multiple claims. There are many exceptions and if you need to find the cause of an illness, then the cover is severely limited.

Awful Customer service, they literally cancelled my policy, as I didn’t change my Bank details intime two days they gave me

Thank you for your review, we really appreciate your feedback.
Unfortunately, once a Direct Debit has been cancelled at the bank, we’re unable to reinstate it.
However, as soon as we’re notified of a cancelled Direct Debit, we email our customers straight away asking them to update their bank details to prevent the policy from being cancelled. We provide a 3–5 day window to allow time for this before the policy automatically cancels.

Efficiency....
I was very impressed with the service from Spot On. My Direct Debit was cancelled for an unknown reason, and they informed me immediately. Their quick communication prevented my dog insurance from being cancelled, which saved me from an immense amount of stress. I am very grateful for their efficiency.

Very happy with my experience
My experience with Spot On has been very satisfactory. I had reason to make a claim following my dog being diagnosed with a heart murmur. The claims process is transparent and very easy to follow. I was able to log on at any time to check progress of my claim. Claims were settled within advised timescales. The cost of insurance was very reasonable compared to other pet insurance. I would recommend this company to friends and family. I would also like to thank you for the kind words I received from Spot On following the passing of my little dog.

Annoyed my policy was renewed without adequate notice. If an email/norice was sent.. it wasnt recieved.

We send renewal information up to 40 days before the renewal date specifically to give you plenty of time to review your documents and make a decision. On this occasion, we did issue the renewal emails in line with our usual process, however we became aware of a delay on Microsoft’s outlook/hotmail email servers at the time, which affected the delivery of some outgoing emails and these emails were slighty delayed. Wasn't a great experience as it follows…
Wasn't a great experience as it follows the death of our beloved dog Milo, I know it's a hard job to do, but I felt upset that you had his breed from the policy yet after he died asked 'what breed he was' and for' a photo of him....' which was really upsetting when I was greiving, but on the phone the person I spoke to was respectful and I appreciated that. The policy paid out to the vet hospital just under 2 months after, I have never used this process before so I cannot comment on speed, but I have used them again for my 3 dogs

To explain, when the details provided by a vet don’t fully match the information on a policy, we do need to double-check those details to make sure everything is accurate. That’s why we had to ask for confirmation in this case. Once your vet responded to our queries, the claim was processed promptly.
