Service and Value for Money - Spot On!
I have made three claims since joining Spot On and can honestly say it was such an easy process. I gave details about my pets accident, uploaded the vets invoice and submitted it. A few days later the money for my claim was in my account - it could not be easier.
I would highly recommend them for service and value for money. My last company quoted a ridiculous monthly amount as one of my pets is over 10years old (never claimed for her) which prompted me to do some research and I am so glad I did

I had recently gone with spot on for my my pet insurance. We all hope we don't have to claim but I have to say when I did spot on were very quick in replying and it didn't take them long to review my claim. Thank you for sorting everything out whilst going through a difficult time with my pet. It really took the stress out of everything.

I genuinely can’t fault the service I’ve received from Spot On Pet Insurance during an incredibly stressful time.
Once the hospital and our vets submitted the required information, payments were processed quickly and without any issues, which made a huge difference while we were navigating cancer investigations. Communication was clear, and the claims process was handled professionally throughout.
At one point, Gambit’s third-party cover was removed due to a comment in his veterinary records about him snarling. After I provided my own statement, a supporting letter from the vets, and his full history (he’s 11 years old with no prior incidents), Spot On reviewed the evidence fairly and reinstated the cover in full. That willingness to reassess and correct a decision really stood out to me.
One aspect I particularly appreciate is the lack of a co-payment. Aside from a straightforward £200 excess, there was no percentage contribution required, which makes this policy a real advantage over many others—especially when dealing with high-cost or long-term treatment.
The policy has done exactly what it promised, allowing us to focus on Gambit’s care rather than finances. While I understand premiums may increase at renewal due to age and claims, that doesn’t take away from how well this claim was handled.
I’m genuinely grateful for the support received and would confidently recommend Spot On to other pet owners.

Starting the claim was easy to complete the vet then added everything else that was required about the operation.
I confirmed with pictures the breed of my dog and payment was quick and in full for policy. I’d recommend.

We Have used our insurance a few times…
We Have used our insurance a few times recently as our cat was diagnosed with heart failure . They have paid out for nearly all treatments and scans etc . Cant fault them . Our bill was thousands and It was a huge relief knowing That spot on had us covered . My only small gripe is that Dental isn't covered and is an add on which I would definitely add to my next pet.

Very disappointed, check the small print!!
Please with their prompt response to my claim,but everyone check the small print!! I pay just over £35 a month & im not covered 4 medication *apparently this is an extra add on the policy) if your dog is going to the vets & needs medical care which then results in a claim 99% of these animals would need medication at home to continue the getting better process. I was also not covered for hospital admission & blood samples, again if a dog is poorly this would be needed at the vets, but spot on doesn't cover it on my insurance 😤

Thank you for your feedback. Our Boosters were designed to offer a more bespoke policy which is tailored to each pet’s individual needs. This is clearly signposted at the time of purchase and renewal and can be added on or removed at any time throughout your policy period.
I can see the blood sample was covered by your policy but capped. Unlike many other providers we only have 3 caps which are essential to protect against unpredictable or inflated charges.
Hospitalisation is covered by your policy, admission fees are not as these are additional admin fees charged by your vets and is not treatment for your pet.

Amazing Customer Service
The customer service agent was superb, I was asked by the vet to clarify if the expensive treatment my dog requires is covered by Spot On.
I emailed the customer service representative requesting a phone call and within a couple of minutes I was talking to a very reassuring team member.
He was very sympathetic to our situation and confirmed that we would be covered by our insurance policy.
His telephone manner, sympathy and advice were exceptional, very reassuring in a time great stress.
