Stay away from this business. Used them once....not again.

Dishonest quoting and did a terrible job.

Rip off aimed at the elderly, don't be fooled.

Terrible service.
Initially quoted $30 per seat and would $210. Upon review of lounge agreed to $245.
Was then forced to pay $315. Only half the lounge was cleaned and the lounge was left soaking.
Do not use this company. The are rude, dishonest and revolting people.

Absolutely terrible.
I was initially quoted $33 per seat, it ended up being $88 per seat and that didn't even include a deep clean for stains/smells/discolouration (which is what I had asked for).
The company also didn't ask whether we had stairs. The operator couldn't carry the machine up or down the stairs himself so I had to help, and I am pregnant.
The company also didn't ask whether we had a drain so there was an issue with draining the machine at the end of the clean, meaning there is water left all over our apartment.
When I called to speak to the company to complain, I was hung up on. When I tried to call back, they did not answer.
The clean was quick, basic, and certainly not worth the money.
I will never use this company again and discourage others from doing so.

Had appt booked for 11:30 arrived at 1:50pm. Asked them to clean half a carpet square with no need to move couch wanted to charge an extra $20 for the job.
Couch looks much the same. Wanted to take a photo of my credit card.

Disgusting service. Firstly they told me 10am appointment time. Then the guy rang up and asked if I could make it 12pm since it was for a Sunday. On the day they rang up and asked if I could make it 11am but then he showed up around 12.30.
The guy didnt give his name. He had no identification or name tag and wasnt even wearing a uniform identifying him from the company (also no logos etc on his van). He did a very rushed job and finished within 3 minutes. He didnt even clean the right side of the couch because it was close to a wall and he didnt bother moving the couch out for access.
After finishing the couch looks no cleaner than when he started and certainly the stains that were there are not even slightly reduced and are still very clearly visible.
When I booked the job I was quoted $120 and I was told that the cleaners accept either cash or card onsite. I told them I had no cash and they said thats fine. When the guy finished he actually went off at me because I said I didnt have cash. He got all cranky because he said they only accepted cash and said he'd have to call head office and they'd have to take my card details. So I repeated my card details over the phone 3 times to another Indian who could barely speak english. THEN I was told that there was a surcharge for credit card and admin fees. Plus extra for being a sunday. Plus an extra 10% for GST, none of which they bothered to include in the initial quote. Seriously who gives quotes excluding GST and doesnt mention additional fees? So I ended up having to pay nearly $200 for a job I was quoted at $120. I am absolutely disgusted with this company and their service. I would never use them ever again and I recommend you stay away as they are nothing but scammers!

Just had to deal with them for a stain introduced yesterday morning that I cleaned up with tap water before it dried but left a water stain ring. The young guy who came was very polite and decent enough explaining that he wasn't sure he could get it out. I could tell he was not experienced enough and so I said Ill find someone else. But his boss on the phone was apalling wanting me to pay a cancellation fee equal to the charged fee - the grubby manner in speaking immediately set me off and told me he was trying to pressure me to go ahead with the charge almost certainly likely to lead to an excess charge above 120 instead, aligned with other experiences reported here. Low class operation with a low class boss. I paid 20 dollars cash to the person who came since they went out of their way and would have paid more had the boss not been so unpleasant and more professional.
Not sure how extensive this is but I noted the boss started with an Australian-like accent but afterwards it reverted to a middle Asian accent (India, Bangladesh) which I remember thinking this was odd. Whatever the case, I cant help but note those businesses that lack diversity and locals are often the worst when it comes to service and quality.

Do not use this business. I wish I'd read the reviews before booking them. The clean is ordinary and uneven and we have been left with a damaged couch. A thread has been pulled. Very, very unhappy and seems like contacting them is a waste of time

Left a lake and made no attempt to clear up. I had to mop my expensive timber floor

The team was very professional in his service. Fantastic communication and advice on cleaning the upholstery. Extremely happy with how the upholstery on the lounge came up after cleaning. This is the second time I have used this upholstery Cleaning Service. I will continue to use and recommend to any friends.

They sound good on paper, "specialized sofa cleaning" "world-class upholstery cleaning" "customized and tailor-made", but I cannot tell the difference. I paid more than 3 carpeted rooms to be cleaned. When I complained and asked what solution was used he couldn’t remember, even though it was 90 mins later. Specialized hey, wouldn't that mean they use a good dirt removing product? Obviously not. I doubt he used anything but water, judging by the black water I got out of it a few days later (when I bought my own upholstery cleaner). All I used was hot water, vinegar and dish-washing liquid and I'm not the professional here. Don't waste your money!

very disappointed with the sofa cleaning done by your cleaner on 6th 0f sep . i booked cleaning for 10 seats , was charged 413$ for the cleaning. but nothing cleaned properly . still all the stains are there . send this reply online because of weekend no one contacted for next 3 days they send a message again. received following reply
Sorry for the inconvenience caused, But Squeaky clean sofa do not accept complaints after 2 days and the job was done on 06/09/2019.
If you want i can send my operator back but their will be a call out fees of $120 and he will inspect and he will help you with that.
We always inform each and every customer the exact amount before starting the service then only we start the work.

About stain removal its already mentioned in Terms and conditions
"Squeaky Clean Sofa does not guarantee complete upholstery stain removal. Certain stain derived from bleaching agents, permanent dyes, and acids are permanent on the fabric and cannot be extracted by any treatment "

You agreed on prices and coming back after 6 days saying we took money and you are not happy, we cant help you in that.

All of this really happened. At 10am I called to make an appointment and I was told $36/seat to clean my 2.5 seater plus chaise (so 3.5 seats) and that they could come at 12pm the same day, which was good because I needed to leave at 2pm. At 11:45 I missed a call and when I called back they said since I didn't answer my phone they would now be coming at 1. When the guy came at 1 I was asked if I could help him carry the heavy equipment up the one flight of stairs, to which I said no because I'm pregnant and it is very heavy, but if it was too heavy I offered to cancel. Instead the guy hauled it up the stairs and afterward said oh we charge $3-4 per stair I forgot to tell you. I said I did not agree to this beforehand so I will not be paying. He then asked if I wanted the front of the couch or the whole couch cleaned. I just wanted him out of there by then so I said just the front. I'm not sure how this would have affected price. He then cleaned the couch, leaving it wet (okay), and said that will be $200, which is a minimum $150 for the job plus $50 for the stairs. I was not told about any minimum and was expecting to pay $126 for the job. I ended up paying him $150 but this is a truly disappointing service. The couch smells like a vacuum cleaner and doesn't look much cleaner than if I had just given it a good vacuum.

Pathetic service.
Their "specialised leather cleaning" is actually a 20yr old kid with a Brillo pad and a bucket of water. They charge a premium but don't do anything you couldn't do yourself. They couldn't even remove some pen marks from the couch. When I criticised them for that, I was told they never guaranteed they could remove marks.
As for their fabric cleaning, I had my white plush snuggle chair cleaned and after they were finished it looked no cleaner than when they'd arrived. When I sent photos of the poor cleaning to their contact email address, I was told it'd cost ANOTHER $40 for them to come out and fix what they should've done correctly in the first place.
Their attitude sucks. Their service is pathetic and they're not good at their job. You have plenty of options when it comes to couch cleaning. I strongly recommend you use someone else.

Note there is a difference between Squeaky Clean Sofa (.net.au) (Sydney based, number is 1800134886) and Squeaky Clean Team (Melbourne based). This is a review for the sydney based squeakycleansofa.

1. The cleaners arrived 40 minutes late.
2. They got water on my personal property (books), and were not prepared with tissues or a mop (they used mine too). For equipment, they had one machine and a bucket.
3. There was no step by step cleaning as promised on the website. No stain treatment, no scotch guard (not even the option), no quick drying finish. All of the chemicals were premixed and in the machine already.
4. The men were not 'certified, licensed, and experienced' technicians. They had only been doing the job for less than a year.
5. The stains on my couch are still there, the cleaners (and their boss through facetime) said "it was permanent" (It is not).

However, the cleaners were very nice and personable. The company did not request me to pay the full price due to the above either. I went with squeakycleansofas because it had good reviews and competitive prices. If I had to choose again, I would have gone for a better company and paid that little bit extra. I could have done an identical job if I just hired a machine from Bunnings at a tiny fraction of the price.
