St Peters Garden Centre Avis 

Blake Foodhall quality food at reasonable price .., the beef fillet was a great gift for a VEY appreciative nephew !!

I don’t know what is needed to take 20 minutes to make 2 coffees and serve 2 scones but St Peter’s (note the apostrophe) has it cracked. Sitting near the food prep are I could see the staff weren’t idly standing around chatting but the coffee machine was completely unsuitable for the customer throughput. Fixing the bottleneck isn’t rocket science St Peter’s, I’ll give it a year and try again.

We attended a magic science event in the teepee. It was a fun thing to do with the grandchildren and we felt it was really good value .st Peter’s often have events for children and they are always good . The garden centre also had lovely healthy plants and a nice area to look around

St Peter’s is much more than a garden centre. We visit the Potting Shed Cafe for its fabulous scones.
At Christmas and in the school holidays they put on activities for the children. This was second year visit for the Animal Man and it is a very entertaining and educational experience for children and adults. Highly recommended.

Beautiful garden centre, clean, well lade out, lovely day out i had with my 6 year old granddaughter, she truly enjoyed it aswell, and was so excited to tell her mommy about how wonderful the garden centre was, will definitely be going back.

The garden centre is lovely but I took my mum there for sunday lunch. Very disappointed 😞. The veg was so hard it may as well been raw. We've dined there before and never had cause to complain. But on this occasion we felt it was a waste of money, which has now put us off.

Attended The Animal Man show which was so good and well worth it.
All the staff we saw at the garden centre were exceptionally polite and friendly, every single one said good morning with a smile on their face. We were very impressed

We visited today with friends for breakfast. The food was outstanding and the coffee is the best I’ve tasted in a long time. The service was quick and the staff were polite and friendly. Thank you St Peter’s we will return very soon

Havnt been for a while but went today as I’ve not been out much since having surgery.
We headed for the restaurant first before the mad rush at dinner time.
Asked at counter to double check it’s ok to find own table, I got told yes it ON the board!
That was first thing, then I got told to order food on the app thing they do. As not using tills.Took us around 30 mins get it done correctly.
So got drinks first , 1 cappuccino which was ok then pot of tea with full fat milk or sterilised milk I think, well it ruined it. Then husband wanted to try a soda water with lime flavoured, which was like plain water and fizz. First impressions of meals was ok till we me and my mother both had cheese and sticky pickle her on white loaf me with brown. Both rock hard at the bottom of loaf awful the to top it off hubby had ploughman’s salad with thin slice of ham with hard bits in and tiny slice of scotch egg which on menu I’m sure it stats that you get “a” scotch egg none of the meal which came to £60 + was enjoyable I’m not going to comment on the puddings as I think I’ve ran out of words.
Have to say we won’t be back and won’t bother to go to garden centre as we like a treat when we go places .

We ourdered an afternoon tea for 3. 2 sweet one savoury. The quality of the food was very poor. Some of the sandwiches had very little filling and there were only 3 flavours. The sweets side was cheep cakes not finish well and dry. We were not aproched once to ask if we needed more tea .
Not worth £25 each more like £7.50 each .

Very helpful and friendly assistants. One went out of his way to find the plant I wanted and the lady on the till was friendly and helped us with the offer we were not sure of.

The David Austin rose talk was very interesting. I think we all leant something, even experienced gardeners. The host was light hearted, helpful, had many years of experience and clearly enjoyed the topic.
ST Peter's staff were also helpful. Steve looked after us. I went on to make purchases( informed choices!). A great afternoon.

The Terrarium course was not only really interesting but the speaker was really engaging and made it an incredibly enjoyable experience I would certainly recommend this course to others should it be coming to ST Peters Garden centre in the future. We created our own terrarium and understood the importance of each of the steps involved.

I recently visited the garden centre, dont get the chance to get there too often as im disabled. And the outdoor cafe staff on shift were brilliant with catering my needs. Ellie especially went the extra mile with helping me find a seat and bringing my order to me which was made exquisitely well and fast! I would love to come back more often to see the staff and their excellent customer service.

Attended a terrarium workshop which was incredible.
The staff in the garden centre are so friendly and welcoming. There’s also a coffee shop/ eating place, which is also very high standard. I had never visited the garden centre before. But definitely will be back soon! Thank you for a lovely day.

Always first class service.

When we arrived the table was already set for us. The lady who served us was very friendly and polite. We thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon tea and we felt very relaxed. A lovely experience.

My grandchildren (aged 4 and 6) thoroughly enjoyed their Painting/Planting a Plant Pot experience over the Easter Holidays. Thank you, St Peters - and thank you to the lovely member of staff who made us all feel so welcome. Hoping those sunflower seeds grow and flourish!
