I really enjoy you all helping to get clients but 30% is steep for each client. You should allow intake forms to be completed and shown when taking clients you all sent.

I appreciate the recognition of the Top Pro title, but I’d like to share some honest feedback. Although I’ve paid both subscription and new client fees, the exposure I’m receiving through the platform doesn’t reflect the level of investment I’ve made. Much of the traffic seems to come from people sharing my profile independently rather than being generated directly through StyleSeat’s tools and outreach.
I’m committed to offering quality service, but I also value platforms that provide measurable results. I’d appreciate insights on how StyleSeat plans to enhance visibility and ensure fair value for professionals investing in your services.

I appreciate the convenience StyleSeat offers for booking and managing appointments. As a stylist, it’s been helpful for keeping my schedule organized and allowing clients to book easily. However, the fees have increased over time and can be frustrating, especially for small business owners. Customer support also takes a while to respond, and some features feel outdated or difficult to navigate. With a few updates and more support for professionals, this platform could be much better.

Unfortunately, I feel this platform marketplace has room for improvement. In my opinion it was a MUCH BETTER platform with the focus on HELPING STYLISTS showcase and build their business while setting them up for success in their earlier years of onboarding to the scene..this was like PRIOR to 2016-17. After those years I feel their focus has been more on how they can CHARGE & COLLECT UNFAIR, UNNECESSARY FEES(that’s really commissions), from stylists thats ALREADY PAYING THEM MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEES along w/their EXISTING and new clients. EXAMPLE: ALL clients are charged a “BOOKING FEE” that varies based on services booked, plus on that same appt. the stylists is charged a New Client Fee IF it’s a new client. Then the stylists is charged a transaction fee to checkout the client out if they use a credit card which by the way IF STYLISTS DO NOT CHECKOUT THE CLIENTS THROUGH STYLESEAT both THEIR SEARCH RANKING AND their PRO STYLIST RANKING is LOWERED by StyleSeat…it all is part of the required “criteria” they state is used by them to determine Stylists PRO STATUS every 30 days. In addition, Stylists are charged ANOTHER FEE for INSTANT PAYOUT of their LEFTOVER EARNINGS that STYLESEAT has already chipped off of IF they don’t want to WAIT 1-2 BUSINESS DAYS to receive their money(if processed on Thursday after 8pm does not deposit until Monday night)! To me this ALL feels like TRIPLE & QUADRUPLE DIPPING…just UNFAIR practices & charges especially if Stylists are ALREADY PAYING a MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEE to be on their “Marketplace”platform. STYLISTS are Stylseat’s CLIENTS and they also penalize them by LOWERING their SEARCH RANKING if CLIENTS CHOOSE NOT to book on their platform. Which very well MAY NOT be the Stylists fault IF clients DO NOT want to PAY BOOKING FEES. And, if that’s the case then this has a NEGATIVE affect on the Stylist potential earnings and client retention. SUMMARY… in my opinion, if StyleSeat is gonna charge a “New Client Fee” to the Stylist after that they should have NO say so in how the Stylist & their client conduct business going forward AND they should NOT take any PARTS of that profit, PERIOD! If StyleSeat wants to earn money off of Stylists HARD-WORK and charge fees to clients in addition to MONITORING how stylists “behave and interact” with their own clients because by the way that’s part of their criteria for “Pro-Ranking”status as well, then they need to just simply open up a salon and/or employ Stylists as commission paid employees or independent contractors and just say THAT instead of disguising themselves as a “MARKETPLACE” platform for SELF-EMPLOYED Stylist!
My experience with style seat is very eye opening as far as business. I feel like to make any profit I have to increase my prices drastically. I feel like the new client fee is a bit much. Taking $50 for a new client is extreme. I can boost a post on Instagram and get more clients than what they are charging me for marketing to get new clients. Who can I speak to about this
I received a charge back & now my money is being held for days & I don’t like it because I have bills to pay. I haven’t been able to cash out any of my money !
Being Top Pro Status was a short term achievement I wanted. StyleSeat is more than a booking platform; It gave me platform that I was able to create a machine of a system for myself which makes high volume clientele easier to manage.
Feels great to finally get more exposure. Styleseat has brought my Business so many new clients.
I really like StyleSeat, I've been with them for 8 years I think. My clients love it, for the most part, some people don't like the little appointment charge it charges them. They can always look and find the appt they want and text me if they prefer.
One thing, in daily use, the cancellation button and the book next button should be switched. I book the next appointment a hundred times more often than I cancel something. And the book next calendar should have an 8 week option. Those are two small details that are regularly just annoying design that make the end of the appointment longer and a little annoying for no reason as the pages load. That adds two extra pages loads to the checkout
That said, it's a great, amazing tool and I highly recommend it.
StyleSeat is literally like my personal / online assistant. clients can find me easily, StyleSeat does the marketing part while I just sit back and see my schedule fill up.
This is one of the best apps I’ve used to book clients, user friendly and very professional.

I love the app and brining me new people but I wish you would stop booking people with IG a couple mins of appointment times. I have on there you have to book 3 hours in advance & you keep letting people books within 15min-30min. I wish you would stop doing that. It mess my whole day up & have clients mad at me for not making appointments slots you gave them last min.
