I ordered a pair of shoes on line 7 days ago and they arrived today on time and no issues. Happy with the purchase and the fact it saved me around $60 as the same shoes at DJ’s were $159!. I have seen the reviews and was worrying during the week that I would have the same problem - but thankfully no issues this time.
Shocking. Buyer Beware.
Buyer Beware. I purchased some shoes online on this site, but I did not receive the shoes, did not receive an email confirmation and yet the amount was taken immediately from my credit card. I have tried to contact styletread on both the SMS and Email and Online Chat options. To no avail. Ignored. I have lodged a disputed transaction with my bank in an attempt to get my money back. After I emailed to let styletread know I had lodged a disputed transaction I got a so called "auto reply" (nearly a day later!) fobbing me off with a standard message that their customer service agents are busy. This is I think the first time I've ever posted an online review and I feel compelled to do so to warn others as I am deeply suspicious about this retailer.
POOR SERVICE POOR COMMUNICATION
Like other I ordered shoes on 2nd August and payment was taken, 3 emails sent - AI reply. Can not even access my order. I intend to try again by phone as the chat button isn't good. Seems they are only interested in holding on to money . Not good enough when every time I access various sites, the STYLETREAD sale is advertised. Within 90 mins of posting this review I received a notice and my shoes were delivered. Why cant companies communicate it would save lots of angst

I ordered a pair of sandals for upcoming holiday over a week ago- no confirmation email but money has been taken from my account.Still no news if order have been processed and shipped.Contacted via SMS and email for update. NO RESPONSE. Absolutely terrible customer service and ordering system. Will not be ordering from them again!
Shoes not in stock
I ordered shoes on Sunday, they were the last pair in stock according to the website. Thursday afternoon I see that the same pair are back online showing as the last pair available, I had not received any shipping info so contacted them to ask the status of my order, only to be told that the shoes are not in stock and they sent me an email - I never received the email. Really poor service to have items available to order that don't exist and then to not contact the customer to inform them. I won't be ordering from them again.
No express shipping
Purchased a pair of shoes on a short time frame (heading away) and paid for express shipping 1-4 days delivery time. Followed up with customer service as I had not received a shipping email, lady tells me they are “processing” and will be shipped 3-5 business days after my order. What’s the point in express shipping if it isn’t express! Unbelievable.
BEWARE
Placed an order, the wrong shoes get delivered and then the run around begins.... no refund given until i can prove that i have posted the ugly shoes back they sent me, now i have to take time out of my life to try and get my money back. BEWARE worst customer service ever.
I have had good experiences for some time now
I've read quite a few of the negative reviews here, especially regarding returns. While I'm not discounting legitimate concerns I have to say my experience has been the absolute opposite. I've now made about 20 purchases through this site and returned about half of them. And had absolutely no problems with any of them.
They make it very easy to request a return, by going into the order in your online account and click on the return button. Within a very short time you get an email on your phone including a return QR code that you take to Australia Post who then print out the label and send it back for free.
About a week later the refund is in your bank account.
When I receive the package, I carefully cut the original post bag, so I can reuse it for any returns. My reasons for returns is that the shoes didn't fit or look good. Since you can't try them on at the time of purchase the fact that Styletread make it easy (and free) to return any shoes that aren't right is the next best thing imho.
In terms of range and quality I find they have way more options than any shoe shop would ever have. I have hard to fit feet, so this is good. When ordering, the shoes arrive promptly within a few days.
It's sad that others have not had this good of an experience and I feel sorry for them. But honestly I've had the totally opposite experience - 100% positive.
No issues, great experience
I ordered boots from the NZ Styletread site. After I ordered them, I saw all the negative reviews and was worried. My boots arrived from Australia in 3 days, no problems and were a perfect fit. I did not need to return them so I did not have any of the issues the other reviewers identified.
No communication channels
Service was good about two years ago. Currently hopeless. Unable to communicate with any staff about a return label. Given the issues with the return label, I will not be returning the shoes as I doubt there will be a refund. I will never use this site again and encourage others to shop elsewhere.
UPDATE_8/6/24_ still no return label. How is it that there is a 100% good experience review?

The worst interaction and service online
The worst interaction and service I’ve ever had from an online business. Wouldn’t process my return request for over a month, then no follow up once item was finally returned, zero customer service skills…entirely useless. Will never buy from again and would actively discourage others.
Funny store this one
Funny store this one, tried several times to buy a pair of men's runners but the items won't check out. Glad I've read other reviews about the store, all or most are negative. I won't be returning to styletread.com.au that is supposedly Proudly Australian Owned.

I have been trying to process a return…
I have been trying to process a return for 3 weeks with no success. Going into their returns screen, you cannot select the product you wish to return. I've sat on live chat for 15+ times with the business either closed for the day or sat their for 2-3 hours. I also sent numerous emails with no response. I guess I'll be selling the shoes on Facebook. This place is a joke, don't buy from them.

The same experience as Bernadette. Ordered on the 15th of November, no ETA for delivery, but an auto-email to review my purchase. I have emailed & tried to phone several times, their phone message says they are in a company wide training session, its the same message since last week and the advice is to email them. I don't normally leave bad reviews (in fact I never do) but I think consumers should be wary.

Ordered shoes on 19th November and still waiting for them to arrive. Received Order Confirmation Email, then 11 days later received an email asking if I am enjoying the shoes and to rate the service and products. Bit difficult when I havent received the shoes. Have been trying to contact Styletread to chase up order, but when I phone them, the recorded message says to try later. Am currently on their "live Chat" waiting for a customer care consultant who "will be with me shortly". I've been waiting on line for 15 mintues..... SHould have purchased my shoes from another site!
