Was impressed at how easy and swift it was to insure our bikes and was really pleased by how helpful Laure and her colleagues were when we needed to make a claim. Would definitely recommend.

I purchased insurance for my scooter…
I purchased insurance for my scooter from sundays Insurance back in January 2025. Since then, I have been paying for the policy every month. However, in August, when my scooter got broken, I made a claim to get it repaired or replaced.
To my surprise, they told me they couldn’t insure my scooter because I hadn’t sent them a photo of it before the insurance started. But on the day I purchased the insurance, they sent me a PDF with all the insurance details and never asked for any documents afterward.
Now, after months of payment, they’re saying I was supposed to send the photo first — which they never requested at the time. When I asked them to send me the document request, they refused and insisted I was the one responsible.
Eventually, they said they would speak to their manager, then emailed me saying they won’t cover my claim and will cancel and refund my policy.
So basically, I paid since January for nothing. This is completely unacceptable. Sundays Insurance is unreliable and dishonest. Don’t waste your money or time with them — they are scammers and don’t care about their customers. I strongly recommend buying insurance elsewhere.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’ve reviewed your documents and our communication records, and confirmed that the item you placed on cover does not meet the policy definition of a bicycle.
The item you insured is a stand-up electric scooter, which does not have pedals and is solely propelled by a motor. This was only identified once your claim was lodged, as no proof of ownership was provided prior to the claim.
When you purchased the policy, you received a welcome email containing your policy documents, along with a request for proof of ownership.
The policy documents, which are also publicly available before purchase, make it clear that the cover is for bicycles. As the policy was purchased online without assistance from a sales representative, it is important to ensure that the product is suitable for the item you wish to insure.
As your stand-up electric scooter is not eligible for cover under the policy terms, we have cancelled your policy and refunded all premiums paid in full.
We understand this may be disappointing and appreciate that it is not the outcome you had hoped for. If you have any further questions, you are welcome to contact us.
Incredible service from the get go and throughout
I found myself in the unfortunate situation of having my stolen in broad day light. I was quite anxious because I had only just recently purchased the bike but from the get go, the team at Sundays made the process super easy.
Laure in particular was incredible, provided me with a clear understanding of the timeline and next steps. Kept me in the loop at every stage and within a week the claim was positively resolved!

Sunday's cycle insurance
I have been asked to fill a review for Sunday's insurance. The original policy was very competitive and comprehensive at around £48.00 per annum, however upon renewal (no claims made) it had almost doubled. I searched around and was able to renew with Churchill Cycling Insurance for £42.00 . This policy had everything that Sunday's Insurance had so I cancelled my policy with Sunday's. They asked why and offered to match my renewal, I declined. The reason being is in my opinion if they could match the policy price from Churchill they should have done straight away not after they had been rumbled, it smack's of disingenuous behaviour.

Tristan and the gang are top
Tristan and the Sundays team were 10/10. Some dweeb shredded my bike when it was locked up, pinching anything that wasn't locked up and smashing/slashing everything that was.
Tristan was properly nice, made me feel like my claim was being treated seriously and kept up the communication all the time, explaining what I needed to do. The process was super easy and my claim was honoured (with a quick payment too)
Thanks guys, will be sticking with Sundays for a long time

Handled my claim perfectly
Was surprised at the cheap price point for the monthly cover of my ebike when shopping for cover.When it was unfortunately stolen I was slightly worried that there would be something that would hinder my claim given the extremely cheap premium.How wrong I was as I began the claims process with Tristan.He never left any question unanswered and was always responsive within the same business day.I am back up and running on my new replacement bike and was also given a loan ebike whilst my new bike was being processed and shipped.Thank you for your assistance with this claim.I know I am in good hands and have initiated a new policy on my new bike with the Sundays team.Quality service all round 👏

The claims team was fantastic they helped me so well and within 2 weeks I had my bike replacement. Special mention to muller he had put up with me a bit lol so he did well to survive 2 weeks of me lol but he helped me allot amd im thankful

So far so good, getting insured was easy, picking the right gold standard lock for another £100 a bit tricky, but a call to the office sorted that. hopefully we wont have to discuss claims, but will be able to truly judge by the performance then. However most people seem to have good experiences which is encouraging.
