Great experience making a claim
As someone who unfortunately had to actually make a claim with ETA I can't recommend them enough. I was insured with them for almost 10 years when my bike was sadly stolen but even though most insurers would take into account depreciation when calculating compensation ETA awarded me my full cover value (plus the cost of my accessories) and even gave me discounts to major bike stores to help cover the cost of a replacement bike. As I needed a very large frame which can be hard to come across I requested for the compensation to instead be in cash so I could also looks at local bike shops and second hand bikes. They did this for me too and the person managing my claim Deon was very responsive and helpful throughout the whole process.

I was not too much information as I only have a E bike which means my needs are small. Plus, I got ETA because if I get stuck anywhere they can help out.
I have not used ETA yet as I have not used my bike yet.
But the company seemed quite good for what they offer plus it’s not gonna cost me lots of money each year. so for now, so far so good

Easy to sign up
Recommended to me and have signed up. My review is purely based on the ease in which it is to sign up for bike cover. A few clicks to provide information and with a small premium paid via Apple Pay, I now have peace of mind should I have a problem when out cycling.

A friends recommendation proved right.
I was recommended ETA buy two people that I ride with and I’m glad that they did.
After starting the on line quote I realised that I had a few questions needing answers.
I phone call answered every question / query that I had and the staff were polite and knowledgable.
From start to finish the service was 1st class.

Excellent, Empathetic Customer Service
I recently had to make a claim with ETA Insurance following problems with my mobility scooter.
Unfortunately, due to the circumstances of the claim, ETA weren't able to cover everything that needed repairing. However, what really impressed me was the understanding and empathy they showed towards my personal circumstances.
Despite not being obliged to do so, ETA very kindly agreed to cover the cost of hiring a replacement mobility scooter while mine was being dealt with. Having a mobility scooter is extremely important to my independence, so this gesture genuinely made a difference to me at a difficult and stressful time.
Insurance companies are often judged purely on whether a claim is accepted or declined, but I think it's equally important to recognise good customer service and a company that is prepared to look at someone's individual circumstances with a degree of compassion and understanding.
I really appreciated the way ETA handled my situation and their willingness to help where they could.
Thank you to everyone at ETA who assisted me — your help was very much appreciated.

All simple. Just one query: I signed up on 9 Aug asking for a policy start date of 19 Aug. No money taken as at 10 Aug; for reassurance a note such as "your card will be charged on the policy start date" would be nice, assuming that this is indeed the case.

Cycle Rescue Insurance
I've had a cycle rescue policy with ETA for a couple of years and had to use it today.
I broke down in rural Lincolnshire witj a snapped chain at 1115. A quick call to ETA, and was told a 7 seat taxi would be on the way to collect my bike and I shortly. ETA also made a welfare call to me whilst I was waiting. The taxi collected me at 1205 and took my bike and I home.
Fantastic stress free service from ETA!
