Excellent service, the glasses were repaired to a very high standard. I would recommend it, the side arms were tightened perfectly.

I purchased sunglasses online and overall had a good experience. I sourced a pair of sunnies I couldn’t get anywhere else, which was the main reason for ordering. There was a 10-day wait before dispatch, which did make me a bit concerned as I didn’t receive any updates after the order confirmation. When I looked at the email again, it did mention I wouldn’t receive any updates.

However, once I received my tracking number, things moved quickly — my order arrived the very next day. The product itself was exactly as expected and I’m happy with it overall.

I had a great experience ordering sunglasses from Robert and Glen online. My order arrived on time, all my emails were answered quickly, and I even received phone calls to make sure I was happy with my purchase. Excellent customer service and a very professional company. I would definitely recommend them and will order again.

I strongly advise against purchasing anything from Sunglasses.ie. My experience with them has been deeply unprofessional from start to finish.

I ordered a pair of Saint Laurent glasses on April 16th. The shop charged my credit card immediately on the day of purchase. This is a direct violation of standard card merchant rules and EU consumer law, as the item had not been shipped.

What followed was over 40 days of waiting, filled with repeated broken promises regarding delivery dates. It eventually turned out they did not even have the item in stock; it was still "in production with the manufacturer."

When I officially cancelled the order in writing after several follow-ups, my emails were completely ignored. It wasn't until the exact moment I initiated a formal chargeback dispute through my bank that they suddenly scrambled to issue a refund to save face.

The dishonesty did not stop there: the shop wrongfully withheld 14 EUR of the full amount during the refund process without any explanation. Luckily, my bank covered this loss due to the merchant's breach of contract, but Sunglasses.ie deliberately tried to walk away with part of my money.

Stay far away from this website. They have no control over their stock status, card payment regulations, or basic customer service.

Returned my order 3 weeks ago and still no refund. Also no respond for emails...

SCAM BUSINESS DO NOT BUY. they take your money and do not ship and when you try to contact them via email they do not respond. had to charge back with my bank!!!!!!!!!!

My experience has been similar to the many other 1 star reviews on here. I was looking to buy a pair of Cazal's, the webpage stated the item would be dispatched in 4-5 days. I emailed customer service on 28/04/2026 to confirm if that would be the case. I received an email back from Robbie (owner) stating there was 1 in stock and it would be dispatched in the stated time frame. Confident with the response, i went ahead and placed the order on the same day. It is now 08/05/2026 and still no dispatch. I've emailed Robbie - no response. I emailed customer service to cancel the order and refund me - radio silence. I've had to file a Paypal case to try and get my money back.

UPDATE*
They marked the item as "sent" the very same day i opened a Paypal case, but added no tracking. They do not reply to emails. Very scummy business - stay away!

Have had to file a dispute with my credit card company.

Online order for some Ray-Bans. Ordered on April 19th, got them on May 1st, so not exactly fast but not too bad. They were about 25 quid cheaper than the official site. Got an email after I ordered with an accurate delivery timeframe.

One thing I’m not too happy about is the pics clearly show ‘Made in Italy’ on the inside arm of the glasses but ones I got don’t have this and they are actually made in Thailand.
The same pics are on the official Ray-Ban website so can’t really blame the middle man for this, if I ordered directly from Ray-Ban I would be knocking points off for sure.

Lovely experience in the store today! Robbie and Glenn were so friendly and helpful and replaced my mum's lenses in her sunglasses there and then. Would highly recommend! Will be back in soon for a new pair for myself!

Excellent service from the guys from start to finish. Helped greatly with picking out a pair of Tom Ford frames for reading glasses and no problem getting me multiple pairs to try until I was happy. Very prompt turnaround to get the lenses also. Highly recommend.

Do not buy glasses from this company. When buying their glasses response on their WhatsApp and emails was very responsive but as soon as the glasses were bought, I heard nothing. They took the order and Mr lamb emailed to say that I would have the glasses within five days, so I bought them. I explained I needed them in the 5 days and was assured it would have them. The day they were due to be delivered, I contacted them and as I hadn’t heard anything and they now say that they hadn’t got them in stock and won’t have them till the following week and then for delivery. Why did they take an order knowing that they hadn’t got the glasses in stock and could not fulfil it.
They are not the cheapest online but went for an Irish company thinking they’d be able to deliver faster.
Buy your glasses from anyone else as this company don’t give a damn about customer service. They’ve left me high and dry scrambling to get the glasses elsewhere asap.
