I had the best experience with Sunshine. When I needed to go through a rematch, I received all the support I could ask for, which made the whole process much easier. Bruna, who was responsible for my process, was amazing and had my back all the time. Sunshine Agency does not provide real support to host families. Your rights will not be respected if you are a host family! While the au pair’s perspective is taken as fact without proper investigation. Even when the au pairs end up working in ways that are not legal under the Dutch au pair visa, yet the agency ignores this. Host families are left without fair treatment or protection.

“Geen screening, geen verantwoordelijkheid, herhaaldelijke AVG-schending”

Onze ervaring met Sunshine Au Pair B.V. was ronduit teleurstellend en zorgwekkend.

– Een au pair werd bij ons geplaatst met ernstige mentale gezondheidsproblemen en zware medicatie. Dit was niet bekendgemaakt en ook niet opgemerkt door Sunshine tijdens de intake, terwijl zij op hun website claimen “bovengemiddeld zorgvuldig te screenen”.
– Sunshine heeft meerdere keren onze privacy geschonden door vertrouwelijke mails (met juridische en contractuele informatie) in CC te sturen naar de au pair, ondanks ons expliciete verzoek dit niet meer te doen.
– Toen wij de samenwerking moesten beëindigen, werd geen enkele verantwoordelijkheid genomen. Geen refund, geen excuses, en ook geen nazorg voor de au pair. Pas na dreiging van escalatie kwam er beperkt contact, maar een oplossing bleef uit.

Sunshine verdient haar inkomsten met het screenen van kandidaten en het waarborgen van veiligheid voor gezinnen en au pairs. Maar als er problemen ontstaan, wijzen zij elke verantwoordelijkheid af. Dit is niet hoe een erkend referent zou moeten handelen.

Wij overwegen dit te melden bij de IND en Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. Andere gezinnen: wees alert als je met dit bureau werkt.

Om welbekende redenen zijn we overgestapt van Nina Care en we zaten erg in de problemen omdat we zonder hulp thuis zaten. Sunshine heeft echt mega snel, nauwkeurig en vooral vriendelijk geholpen! Wat een top bureau met aardig en persoonlijk contact, snelle reacties en alles tiptop geregeld!

Sunshine Aupair is such a big help in my journey of coming here in The Netherlands and becoming an aupair myself. They help me in every step of processing my papers and patiently look for a host family that would match me. All the staff are very kind, welcoming, accommodating and helpful. They are always open and ready to answer all my questions when I don't understand something or when I'm not sure of something. They also organize events for au pairs to mingle with each other as well as events for au pairs to explore different cities and countries. Sunshine really becomes a ray of sunshine in my life because they light up the pathway for me to discover new things, experience different culture, meet new people and visit new places. I learn to discover a different version of myself and become a bit independent and confident about myself and all of these is because I take the risk of applying as an aupair at Sunshine. They are one of the reasons why I can explore the places that I never imagined to visit and experience. I am very grateful that I become an aupair of Sunshine. One of the events that I won't forget that Sunshine organized is the First aid event for new au pairs because I met a lot of my fellow au pairs and made friends with them. I also learned first aid and ate lots of Filipino food.

The best agency if you are applying as an Au Pair in Netherlands. I am now in Netherlands now. I am from the Philippines, and I am grateful to Sunshine with all the help they gave.

it’s my first time attending this First aid and I’ve learned a lot. The first aid instructor was very great and very detailed, experienced also how to do the CPR for adults and Kids which was very great for emergencies. I have now the knowledge on how to handle kids specially in emergency times on the correct way of handling them. The food that prepared by the Agency was very yummy! I miss asian food so much! The event organizers where very awesome! Meet new friends from different countries and they were very kind! Thank you for making my 1st month stay in the Netherlands more memorable Sunshine Au Pair!
