Our trip that Swain Destinations planned to Africa was great from start to end. Planning was very easy and the entire trip was seamless. We were there almost three weeks and stayed in 6 different locations. We never had to worry about our next location or any logistics in moving from place to place. All internal transfers and flights were handled and everything was planned out down to the small details.

Australian DREAM VACATION!
Australian DREAM VACATION!! The Swain Destinations team took a 28 year old dream of two young kids, and turned it into a trip of a lifetime. They are a true CLASS ACT and have earned my business from here on out. They scheduled 15 days of Australia, starting in Sydney, migrating to Ayers Rock, then Cairns to Port Douglas, Brisbane and back to the US. Site seeing, hiking mountains, hugging koalas, diving the great barrier reef, dinner cruise, car service....I cant tell you how impressed I was that everyone from age 12 - 72 was included in EVERY activity - EVEN THE ZIP LINING!! GREAT JOB!

What a trip
Super people to work with who put together a great trip that we will always remember.
They know the best places to stay and the best things to do and the 28 day trip they put together for us included all of them. Due to weather problems our flight was a day late getting to Australia and we had a trip to look for Koloa bears that we were going to miss and Swain made arrangements for our driver to pick us up from the airport and drive us out of the city to catch up with out tour. Normal tour operations don't do this.

Try Swain for your next Australian Adventure
Swain was prompt and provided great service. I typically use online solutions to keep track of all of my travel records and didn't think that I would use the "paper" binder that they provided. The paper binder was fabulous. It had everything I needed day by day and also listed info by subcategory. It turned out to be a great resource!

Everything went well on the trip
Everything went well on the trip. Loved Salamanca Inn and Strahan Village especially. Only criticism I have is that Swain pushes towards high-end options; in some cases they provide only high-end options. I was able to suggest and renegotiate these, and in one case, find an alternative option that Swain was unable to provide. For non-travel savvy or less tech-savvy people, this would be a real problem.

Completely satisfied
We had planned to do our trip on our own and kinda stumbled into Swain when we saw a tour that matched our time in New Zealand. We didn't need much customization but we loved the way we and Swain worked together. We knew they would pick the type of hotels we wanted and schedule the day tours that would not disappoint. We felt "on our own" in a good way, but there was always someone to transport us to/from the airports and train stations. In other words, they took the anxiety out of trip and prevented disappointments. We thought it was a great way to travel and have nothing but praise for Swain and those we encountered on our journeys.
