Unforgettable Experience!
Just returned from Australia, which was a magical vacation that I will never forget. I had an amazing time spending New Year's Eve on a boat in Sydney Harbor, Kayaking in Byron Bay, and living in luxury on Lizard Island. The direction and assistance I received …
The direction and assistance I received from Ian Swain for my group of 7 was spot on. Though they ended up changing out 2 tours while there, the tours booked were what they originally requested. The clients commented on the great serviced from Canterbury Trails guide, Irene, as well as the last 2 Luxury Lodges they stayed, Otahuna and Blanket Bay.
I had an unusual request for stocking a villa for their stay in Blenheim and that was done efficiently through Swain and Canterbury. Absolutely no complaints with the service. Ian responded to me even if he was traveling.

I think this is for the India trip?
I am not sure which trip this rating is for, but I think India for Girdley. I thought Bela was ok. She could have been a bit more informative on crafting the itinerary in that my clients stayed 2 nts at the Camel fare in Pushkar but could have done it in 1. So my clients left early and paid an additional $750 for 1 night at Udaipur instead. THEN Bela didn't even inform me of the change which was a bit embarrassing when the client told me. I would expect someone at Swain would have advised me. Bela did, after I called her out on it, apologize.

We are sorry to hear that you were not entirely pleased with the service you received on this occasion, and that your clients incurred additional expenses while traveling. Our normal recommendation for travelers wishing to experience the Camel Fair in Pushkar is to stay two nights, so clients do not feel as if they are rushed, seeing as there is so much activity at the fair. We do realize that every traveler is different and appreciate that the Girdleys felt the one night was sufficient. Please accept our sincere apologies for not notifying you at the time the itinerary alteration was made as you should have been apprised of the situation immediately. This is an unusual oversight on our part and we regret the inconvenience caused.

Great place to book a destination.
I have recommended and used Swain for a couple of trips and they all were fantastic. The company and agents are very knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous.
