Verity is a brilliant instructor! The objective in the lessons is to improve my freestyle technique and also ease my bilateral sciatica. Verity was patient with me and encouraged gentle exercise with leg movement and also helped me to work on coordination and breathing with freestyle. SwimExpert and Verity in particular are highly recommended!

Caitlin was an excellent and patient instructor. She was a very good listener but also firm when needed. I did a course of lessons in August before I went on holiday and gained more confidence in the water than I’d previously had and was able to be confident in the the pool and the sea when on holiday. Melanie was the perfect teacher. She was always encouraging, clear and positive. Xander always got out of the water with a big smile and told me how much he looked forward to the next session. It was an excellent week and Xander made real progress.

All three of my children have learned to swim through Swim Expert. With a lot of neurodiversity between them, I knew they wouldn’t cope with group sessions. The lessons aren’t cheap but they learn so much faster one to one, we felt they were worth it. Our youngest child has just finished lessons in Southampton with Gaby. He was very nervous and refused to get in the water for the first few lessons. Gaby was patient and kind whilst also being firm with him, and gradually his confidence grew. After 30 lessons he is now swimming independently and confidently playing and splashing in the water. We can’t thank Gaby enough for all her hard work.

They were excellent with communication and a good price. They had a fantastic teacher who built an amazing rapport with my son and completely personalised the lesson to cover what he needed. His confidence grew immensely over the week. It was great all in all

The HydroKidz instructors are all very friendly and have managed our kids swimming development well.

We have been really happy with the swimming lesson service we have received over the 3 years our kids were with HydroKidz.

My kids attended the crash courses a few times and totally loved them. The teachers were all very experienced and knowlegeable. We would definitely be attending the courses again.

SwimExpert have been fantastic - Every time I've had communication with the administrative team, they have been so helpful. And our instructor Kate in Burton on Trent is fantastic. She has such a brilliant way with my 2 kids and draws the very best out of them despite them being very different characters!

Marty was a really patient and calm and fun swimming teacher. Our son really enjoyed his lessons with him and moved on massively. He finally managed to move beyond stage 1 which was a big relief. Marty was engaging and kept out son interested, when in regular swimming lessons he’d been losing focus. Definitely worth the money!

Just completed a block of 10 lessons for my grand daughter with Alex. He was great with her, especially as she has Autism and can be tricky sometimes! She has come on really well with her strokes.
The communication with Swim Expert isn’t very good . They don’t let you know if the teacher is away.

Katherine was the instructor for our foster son. He wasnt a confident swimmer and needed the one to one time to really grasp some basic skills. She has been beyond impressive as a coach. She is incredibly patient, encouraging and amazing with kids. Every lesson was enjoyed so much and appreciate all her hard work. I highly recommend swim expert to anyone who wants to gain some life long skills.

I have had a very strong fear of water for all my life. Since beginning lessons, with Jenna from SwimExpert,I am gradually feeling more comfortable and confident in the water. I registered with swim expert to improve on my breathing, front stroke and backstroke. I take my lessons at Basingstoke Apollo Horizon hotel. Isabel is professional and pays personal attention to the small areas I make mistakes and work on them to help me improve. My breathing, freestyle , breaststroke and treading water are greatly improved with only four lessons with her. I look forward to each swimming session with her due to that personal attention she puts into her students. Alex has been fantastic! Adult swimmer who hasn’t been in the pool since first school, I had no idea how to swim and he’s really helped me get to grips with swimming! I never thought I’d be able to do it but I can, short distance at the moment but I’m working on that. Very happy with the service!

My swimming instructor, Katherine has been fantastic throughout my lessons. She is patient, encouraging and always gives me the confidence to push myself, from swimming to the deep end for the first time to completing my first front crawl lengths, jumping into the pool and retrieving objects from the pool floor. Her technical guidance on breathing, body position and stroke technique has really helped me improve and she always takes the time to celebrate my progress and motivate me to keep going.

I also really like SwimExpert's structured learning programme, which makes it easy to track progress through each stage and celebrate achievements with awards and certificates. Sally & Cassi in Customer Services are always very helpful, friendly and quick to respond whenever I need assistance. Overall, it's been a fantastic experience and I would happily recommend SwimExpert to anyone looking to learn to swim as an adult.

I booked adult swimming lessons with Christian T due to my fear of water and having no prior experience swimming. He has been amazing at helping me overcome my fear of water (it was gone after the first 30 minutes)! He is calm, encouraging and supportive - I have learnt so much and made a lot of progress in just 4 lessons. I strongly recommend him as a swimming teacher for anyone as he is best teacher I have ever had.

Our 9yo son was originally served for 2-3yrs by another excellent SwimExpert instructor at the BrentfordNovotel pool. His schedule changed this spring, so Pedram A picked up this time slot.

Pedram is gentle yet highly effective instructor. When we arrived a few weeks ago, Pedram was just finishing a lesson with a child who has additional needs. Both his body language and quiet instruction communicated so much dignity to this child and his carers.

We couldn’t have known it, but our son was ready to learn from a new instructor and we’ve seen *AMAZING* progress over his past 10 lessons.

Our son does so.much.work. in a 30min lesson. He has a great time while doing it, too. And a couple weeks ago he felt so proud when Pedram informed him that he’s passed L5 and they’ve begun working on L6. Good stuff all round!

My swimming instructor Fern was totally amazing. I was very scared of the water to start with but not only did I learn how to swim but now my confidence has grown in the pool. She is very patient and has superb teaching skills as-well as being intelligent, knowing each clients needs. I highly recommend her & swim-expert. I learnt in Reading Novotel Hotel which was an added bonus because it’s a clean lovely pool & friendly staff.
