System Driving School Avis 

Good driving school but absolutely
awful customer service.

The other week I went to contact the system driving school team about a misunderstanding with the prices on their website. However I was met with a nasty woman on the phone with an appalling attitude in which her and the manager virtually called me stupid and laughed at as I misunderstood the prices on a 10 hour block due to a deal they had at the time. Bare in mind I was cooperative as I was willing to pay for less hours at a similar price or to go somewhere else but as a result I was being insulted consistently. Furthermore, I attempted to calm the situation down and asked the lady and the manager to stop insulting me and they did not so I hung up the phone.

Fast forward a few days later and I have called again once I had found the extra money to pay for the block of 10 lessons that I wanted. However when trying to login into my account I found that my login details were not working so I called the school again. As you would expect I was met with the same lady with the same appalling attitude. I tried to address my issues about my login and she kept telling this is not possible and after about 3-4 attempts of asking why it's not possible she told me that it was because they deleted my account. So due to me making a phone call and being insulted because of a genuine misunderstanding I get banned and was told to pay the Instructor directly instead. At no point during any of these phone calls did I feel welcomed as a customer. Furthermore, from reading other bad reviews on trust pilot, the responses that System driving school give out are nothing but argumentative, in my opinion if someone is unhappy with the experience a company should be understanding and help fix the issue and not argue about who was right it wrong.

On the other hand, my instructor was great with me with the first few lessons I have done and can not fault him. But if you need to contact the customer service team STAY AWAY.

Thanks so much to Paul for stepping in at the last minute and for helping my daughter to get used to a new car and get ready for her test. She passed first time.

Joe willis was a verry good driveing instuctor, I recomend joe for a 1st time pass.

I really enjoyed the way Rick teaches as instead of just trying to get us to a level where we’re pass ready he’d push us so that everything is to perfection so that we can have little mistakes but still be better than most. I’ve already recommended him to a few friends due to the quality of his lessons.

I spent 3 years with Phil, I’d joke with him all the time about leaving a bad review but I just can’t! He has been an incredible instructor, really patient, really supportive, Phil saw me go through some very hard times in those 3 years and he always made lessons fun and enjoyable, I will miss our banter! Thank you so much for everything! 😊

Honestly haven’t got a bad word to say. Easy to navigate the site, and everything is there as and when you need it.

A massive shoutout goes to both instructors (automatic) I had along the way: Dan & Mike. Both helped whenever I needed, went above & beyond, and got me to a point of near perfection test wise. They both deserve so much credit, and I will always be thankful to them both!

I pleased to say i’ve got an instructor “David Adams” hes one of the best and very experienced instructors i ever had the way explained the things is more helpful and builds the confidence and also “Jim Hart” greatest and the best instructor who’s helped me for this test. Thank you for everything

Rik Norris has been a wonderful driving instructor who has helped me with all my issues while learning how to drive a manual car. He was very patient with me and was helpful when I had any questions to ask him.

I cannot thank Mark Robertson enough. I needed to get my license fairly quickly as I’m moving abroad. Mark worked with me through my anxieties and got me test ready in a couple months, and I passed today first time. Was a great experience and he made me really comfortable with driving, as it’s something I was very anxious about before. Truly recommend Mark and System. 10/10 - thank you Mark!!

ATTENTION ALL PDI'S!!! If you are thinking of learning to become a driving instructor, do yourself a favour and do not go down the national school route. If you're in the Essex region, get yourself down to System Driving School and speak with Jim or Gary.
I'm with one of the national schools who failed at every opportunity to provide a decent service and consistently fell short of their extremely low standards bar when it came to training. I'm not going to say who they are (Bill Plant), but don't be tempted by their offers of cheap deals and PDI franchises. Hidden within the small print is an extremely binding contract, which once you pass, you will find it almost impossible to get out of. I'm assuming it's the same for all of the different schools.
A couple of lessons with Jim Miller who showed me my shortfalls, remedied them and filled me full of confidence for my third attempt at part 3. Passed!!

My driving instructor was Kelsie Spincer she was absolutely amazing, she was very knowledgeable and patient with me in my lessons and right before my test she helped calm my nerves and I passed first time I can’t thank her enough x

My experience with System Driving School was very smooth from the start. Nick Harnden was my instructor for the last 4 months who I found through the System Driving School website. Throughout my learning, Nick was punctual and accommodating around my work schedule. He would never hesitate to explain things again if I needed so I would definitely recommend him to others who are also looking to start driving.

Made driving simple and understandable. And over all has made me a confident driver. Would recommend to anyone who’s starting driving .

Sarah was a fantastic driving instructor. She went through every little bit thoroughly and smoothly. Does very well explaining bit you struggle with. I was able to pass my driving test first time with her help. Fantastic teacher would highly recommend.

Amazing Experience with Mark S, made me feel confident behind the wheel and always explained things in a way that made it easy to understand and quickly incorporate into my driving. Just passed my test and did my first big solo motorway drive. I wouldn't of felt as confident if it wasn't for the amazing driving tuition that I've had!
