This device makes NFP SOO much easier!! I'm a light sleeper who wakes frequently so it was always difficult to get an accurate reading - not anymore! My only complaint is that you have to pay for the device, and then pay an additional subscription charge for data calculation.

TempDrop has the makings of a great product. The premise that it eliminates the need to manually take your BBT at the same time every morning is a game changer. However, the best thing about this company is the customer support and shipping. The product itself falls short.

Pros:
* It's convenient
* You can use it regardless of how you sleep (I'm a side-sleeper)
* It's non-invasive
* It's easy to use and sync to the app
* The customer support is very good
* Shipping was very fast

Cons:
* Placement is hard, especially if you don't have fit arms: Placement determines whether or not you get the accurate temp. It's not overly clear where it should go on your arm, and it's easy to wear it incorrectly for months without realizing it. If you have any flab on your arms, you don't have the same guides that fit, muscular arms would have since you have to position it between two muscles.

* It only syncs with the TempDrop app: There are a few off-brand apps that will load the data automatically, but it's far from the most common apps. It's somewhat inconvenient to have to load data into an app that only has a 30 day storage plan unless you upgrade to a paid plan. The work-around is to load the data into another app on a daily basis.
* It's hard to trust the data. Accuracy is everything, but I can't trust the data. It adjusts over the course of three days, meaning it's not a simple temp. Because the placement is so finicky and it's hidden data, I struggle to trust it. I've used TempDrop now for about five months, and I still have to double-temp because I simply don't trust TempDrop data. The convenience factor is gone at that point.
* It doesn't correspond with normal BBT tracking: If you go onto the TempDrop community at all (which isn't recommended - it's a very toxic community), you'll hear "don't compare to BBT" repeated over and over. However, shouldn't I see a similar shift to confirm ovulation that I do in normal BBT tracking? The truth is that it paints a different picture some cycles. In my last cycle, TempDrop would have indicated ovulation a full week before I actually ovulated. Meanwhile, my traditional BBT method had a clear shift. Whether you're preventing or trying, that's a problem. Though normal BBT methods have its set of flaws, TempDrop has its fair share too.
* It's hard to chart: If you track BBT with a different app, you can't rely on the data to give you solid data for three days since it will continue to update over those three days. That means you could see a temperature raise of 0.75 degrees on Wednesday but have it adjust to a 0.1 degree increase for the same day by Friday.
* The band and frame are cheaply made: I like the general design of the band (e.g., you select the tightness and can modify it on smaller increments based on where you put the clasp), but the frame feels cheap from the moment it arrives. From the first snap into the frame, you don't feel like it's secure. My frame broke 4.5 months after I started to use it. I'm not impressed. For a product this expensive, I would expect something more durable.

Overall: I was initially very excited by TempDrop and was counting down to the 60 day mark when I could finally sleep in and switch away from traditional BBT temping. However, TempDrop never stepped up. The PROMISE of TempDrop was alluring, but it fell short.

Love my temp drop and their customer service! I clicked on "help" in the app, it automatically asked if I wanted to send an email to customer support, started my email, and included my devices info. It instructed me on the couple things I needed to include and boom, customer service contacted with ALL of the info they needed to help me! Magical

Not great. Even after two months my temps don't match what I get with a regular bbt thermometer. Plus the ever changing last two temps, are frustrating for charting and really make me doubt the accuracy and usefulness. Plus the fact you have to download a different app to link the data with and see the chart properly.

The Tempdrop itself is okay. Already recorded temps change often which seems odd. Tempdrop staff say that's normal, still seems odd to me and not reliable if you exclusively use their app.

I'm always afraid the holder on the armband is going to break. It's very thin plastic and the Tempdrop does not fit snug in it.

Confusing to use. Wish it was simple and came with its own app, not one that is from another company - that you have to link up. Didn’t use it but twice because the red light came on and they demanded I record what I was doing in order to “fix” the problem. Very frustrating and would never buy again nor recommend

First, let me start off by saying that I am considered plus-size so I do have to place my Tempdrop closer to my armpit as recommended in the instructions. Due to this, I've found that the armband is pretty uncomfortable. Unfortunately, if I do not have it on pretty tightly it will slide around. There's no in-between. After two weeks of measurements, the app alerted me to "inconsistent" readings. However, I've placed it in the same general spot since day one as instructed by the video. I've also been taking my oral temperature and adding it into a different app which I had been using for over two years already. Just for comparison. So far, the predictions have been pretty accurate. Usually about a 3-4 day difference. I'm sure that will narrow down once I've added more data. Overall, I feel like the Tempdrop is doing its job when it comes to measuring. Though, I wish they would work on the armband selection. Also, I'm currently using the premium features but it does not show me a fertility window the way it says it should. Which is fine with me since I'm already using a different app, but may be something to look into in case you are considering paying for the premium features.

I love the Tempdrop. Without it, I would not be able to accurately track my temps for avoidance. My schedule changes too often. Its easy to download data and I don't notice it while sleeping (took 2 days to get used to wearing it). The app is basic and doesn't allow much customization or interpretation, but Tempdrop syncs with other apps for charting so it's alright! I would definitely recommend to anyone who thinks getting up at the same time to temp is a barrier. Tempdrop is worth it.

I think the website and app are a little too basic. There is so much happening when you chart your tempdrop and the explanations are hard to find. I find I am constantly digging through the FAQs and don't find the answers I need. The technology of wearing it works and I see that but the website and app need a huge update. On the app for example there is an option to add ovulation and it's just yes or no but the sticks I use say low, high, peak. I even paid to have the upgrade of the app and I still don't find it to be intuitive. I've been using tempdrop for about 6 weeks and plan to keep using tempdrop but I find I still take my BBT by mouth and put that one in a different app for comparison and both tell me very different things.

It was hard to get the hang of getting tempdrop synced. There isn't an on and off button so knowing if it was actually on was a learning experience. When I messaged customer service about it they explained it and now I don't have any issues getting it synced. Still wish there was a better way to tell if it's on or off.

Shipping was prompt and the TempDrop works wonderfully!

The device works fine to record my temp, but the app needs work. The app believes it is syncing my device, but the temps won’t show up. The best support could do was suggest I use a third party app (that I have to pay for) to import my temps to.

This is a great and easy way to monitor your temperature each day. The app is great and the system very intuitive. I definitely recommend it.

Delighted with my TempDrop as a unit. Its so useful for anyone with disrupted sleep or anxiety. I do think the plastic holder for the tempdrop feels a bit fragile and I could see it snapping one morning. I'd like to get more of the plastic holders and more band options sold separately. I have been using it for a few days now and it's very comfortable and easy to use. Temping used to be troublesome when I woke up at night sometimes - it was easy to forget to temp or look at the time to know if I could rely on that reading. I'm happy to be able to temp without any worries.

Temp drop has probably been the worst money I have spent. I wanted to love the product since we have been using the temperature method of birth control for years. I have tried everything to get my band to sync with no success. I have emailed the company and I have tried calling with no answer. Every email keeps telling me the same thing to try and is still not working. At the point I just want my money back because I have a product that is now collecting dust.

I’ve been using tempdrop for about a month now. It has been reliable and easy to use. I wish I had gotten it sooner, it makes temping so easy and no worrying about waking up at the right time.

Let me start by saying I could not do FAM without tempdrop. It has been a complete game changer for me, as I was not getting reliable temps with oral bbt. Also, Tempdrop support and the company have been great!

My gripe is the design and quality of the product. The product is not made very well, I’m on the 3rd sensor in two years, thankfully all covered by warranty. They’ve just simply been a sensor flaw, turning off in the middle of the night so I don’t get a recorded temp, or draining the battery too quickly. Also, it’s very well known that when changing the battery you’re at a high risk of breaking something.

I’d give this a thousand 5 starts if the quality of the sensor and arm band was better, especially for the price!! However, with that being said, I will continue to be a faithful customer and recommend Tempdrop to anyone doing FAM as it really has been the easiest most reliable way to temp.
