Top service, easy communication via texts with Matt to arrange the job, once done, sent us a EPC certificate on-time, Job done.

I contacted Olly who I found online. He responded quickly and got the EPC done within 48 hours. It was a great service and would highly recommend this person I will be using him from now on for my portfolio of properties.

As a landlord, I needed a new EPC certificate, so I booked an appointment with The EPC Man. The booking process was quick and easy, and Olly came on time and surveyed the house thoroughly, noting all the energy efficiency upgrades I'd made to it. He's polite and friendly, a lovely guy, and he suggested some improvements for a better EPC rating. I would highly recommend The EPC Man and Olly to anyone who needs an EPC survey.

Our initial enquiry was responded to within the day and a booking made for 4 days later. We were told who to expect and Matt arrived bang on time. He was friendly, thorough and professional, explaining what he was doing throughout. The assessment was sent electronically a couple of days later. All in all a very good service.

Paul Chapple who serves the Woking area was extremely rude and should not be working with customers.

1. I tried to explain the works the works I had carried out, which would increase the EPC score. And before I could finish my sentence he cuts in and says 'I am a building surveyor, can you just let me do my job'. Speaking in an aggressive tone. I was thinking to ask him to leave my house. Considering that I'm a quantity surveyor in terms of my day job.

2. I followed the recommendations of the last EPC. And he said that the works were not worth the cost, and the uplift in the EPC was minimal. After speaking the previous EPC assessor, he said that Paul doesn't know what he's talking about and has provided an inaccurate assessment. After then raising this with Paul, he then changed the EPC scoring to reflect the changes to the property.

3. Paul made some other generally rude remarks during his 15 minute visit.

A few days before, I tried to negotiate on payment and he did not accept. He brought that up, and laughed about it. This was rude, especially in-front of my partner.

Secondly, he said: 'The way you're dressed, 'Do I work in Sales?'. This is rude to judge and comment on how people are dressed.

Overall the experience was terrible. In hindsight, I should have asked him to leave and never come back just because of his rudeness.
