The Family Chemist – Trusted UK Online Pharmacy & NHS Prescription Service
The Family Chemist is a family-run, GPhC-regulated UK online pharmacy providing NHS and private healthcare services to patients across the UK.
Launched in 2021 and based in West Bridgford, Nottingham, our aim is to make accessing prescriptions and healthcare simple, safe and convenient. Our UK-based pharmacy and clinical teams combine professional expertise with easy-to-use digital services, helping patients manage their health from the comfort of home.
NHS & Private Prescription Services
Our NHS repeat prescription service allows eligible patients to nominate The Family Chemist through the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS). Once nominated, prescriptions can be sent directly to us, dispensed by our pharmacy team and delivered free to your door.
We also offer private online prescribing services. Patients can complete a secure online consultation which is reviewed by a qualified UK clinician. Where treatment is clinically appropriate, a prescription is issued, dispensed and delivered discreetly.
Delivery, Payments & Returns
We provide fast and discreet UK delivery, with free delivery available on NHS prescriptions.
To make ordering as convenient as possible, we offer a range of secure online payment options, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Klarna and Clearpay. Available payment methods may vary depending on your order and will be clearly displayed at checkout.
For patient safety, medicines cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded once they have been dispatched. This applies even if the medication remains unopened.
Returns and refunds for eligible non-medicinal items may be available depending on the product and circumstances, and are subject to our Terms & Conditions. If you would like to cancel an order, arrange a return or report an issue with your delivery, please contact our team as soon as possible.

Cheapest price I could find for wegovy but at a price
Cheapest price I could find for wegovy.
Both my self and my wife decided to go on the wegovy plan and so I ordered one day and my wife the next, mine went straight through but my wife's has paused for a medical record check .
The one thing that really annoyed me and could possibly put me off ordering from these again is the fact my wife's prescription was send out but yet I had no news on mine I had to ring up to find out what was going on. After 15 min on hold well they went to the pharmacy to investigate I was told they have it and will be on its way tonight and delivered tomorrow.
1 hour later I got an email saying it will be another 1-2 days until it's sent then 1-2 days for delivery .
Make your mind up I found it very frustrating and we can't understand why they where not both sent out same day or mine came first as it was ordered a day before and was not put on hold

Good Afternoon,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you found our Wegovy pricing competitive.
We would like to clarify that every prescription is assessed and processed individually. Orders placed by members of the same household are not linked and will not necessarily progress or be dispatched in the order in which they were placed. Each prescription must complete the appropriate clinical and pharmacy processes before it can be released for dispatch.
Our team will always provide the most accurate information available at the time of an enquiry. However, estimated processing and dispatch timings can change as an order progresses through the pharmacy, with subsequent email notifications providing the latest status.
We appreciate that you contacted us for an update and hope this provides some clarity around how individual orders are processed.
Thank you for choosing The Family Chemist.
Best Wishes,
The Family Chemist Team

Took me awhile to fill everything in
Took me awhile to fill everything in, plus photo's and extra information, but after that, plain sailing, quick delivery, although the ice pack was almost melted, so a good job I was in as they came earlier than informed. Excellent service, would definitely recommend.

Excellent Service All-Round.
A very user-friendly website and very reasonable prices as pricing goes for weight-loss injections. My order had gone through on the Tuesday but I was flying out of the UK on Saturday, I phoned and made sure I'd get this in good time, a very friendly gentleman answered my call and told me my prescription was in pharmacy awaiting to be prescribed, once Id told him I was away on holiday he physically went to pharmacy and made sure pharmacy put the order through without delay, he said it would be posted that day and delivered on Wednesday, for which it was. I had no issues getting through by phone and overall a great service and can highly recommend to others.

They are good! Just take a look around their no nonsense website
I was with the family chemist as couple of years ago and although I was happy with them i fell for all the slick advertising and low starting prices other companies offered and moved to another provider who, In the end, didn’t provide the exceptional customer services and care the family chemist always provided! The grass is not greener! If you are already with them, they offer realistic prices on all medications and you get all the other benefits they offer. They check up on your progress regularly and offer wellness tips. So don’t be fooled, stay with this highly rated company! and if you aren’t already, give them a go, you won’t be sorry.

Excellent service, but pricing no longer competitive
Always excellent service from The Family Chemist, have had the last four orders of my medication from them. Well packaged and very prompt delivery.
Unfortunately, their pricing is no longer competitive for my private prescription, with other pharmacies being £50-60 cheaper, so I will not be re-ordering.
