Made and error when details transferred…
Made and error when details transferred over from compare the market. Monthly payments went up dramatically and when I tried to cancel literally 5 mins after I set it up they wanted to hit me with £40 fee for my troubles.

Unfortunately I would not recommend, they offer a price then added £1k and threatened to cancel policy. Stick with the bigger companies

Hi Blake and thank you for taking the time to leave a review here. I'll try to explain what I think happened in your case. When you take out car insurance, we rely on the accuracy of the information you input on the price comparison website. If we find out that the information is not correct, we need to put it right and this will probably lead to a change in your premium. One common area where this happens is entering your previous claims, which you are asked to declare on the price comparison website. These are put on the Claims and Underwriting Exchange database (CUE) by your previous insurer. If there is an error with this, then you can contact the insurer who provided the data and ask them to correct it. It is important to either do this or to declare information correctly, as nearly all insurance providers use this database.
