Exceptional Service, Knowledge and Reliability
I've been using Malt Miller for some time now and can honestly say their customer service is among the best I've experienced from any supplier.
What really sets them apart is their willingness to help. Emails are always answered promptly and thoroughly, and if the person you're speaking to doesn't immediately know the answer, they'll go and find out from a colleague rather than guessing. On more than one occasion they've even taken the time to physically measure items during a phone call to make sure I had the correct information before ordering.
Their delivery service is first class. Orders are well packaged, arrive quickly, and everything is consistently presented in excellent condition.
The YouTube videos are also incredibly useful, especially for brewers looking to learn new techniques, understand equipment, or make informed purchasing decisions. It's clear they invest a lot of time in helping their customers succeed.
Another thing I appreciate is that they're always expanding their range and bringing new products into stock, so there's always something interesting to discover.
In a world where good customer service is becoming increasingly rare, Malt Miller continue to set the standard. Friendly, knowledgeable, reliable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. We're sorry that you were disappointed with your experience.
However, we feel this review does not fully reflect what happened in this case. Ahead of dispatch, we proactively contacted you to discuss the hot weather and the potential risk of yeast spending several days in the courier network over a warm weekend. Following that conversation, we agreed to delay shipment until Tuesday so the parcel could travel directly through the network, arriving on Wednesday.
Your yeast was dispatched with a cold pack and spent approximately 24 hours in transit before delivery. When you later contacted us regarding the yeast arriving warm, we explained that yeast is considerably more robust than many brewers realise and that a short period in transit during warm weather would not render it unusable. This is based on our experience shipping liquid yeast throughout the UK and Europe every week, often with considerably longer transit times than this order experienced.
While we appreciate that you would have preferred additional cooling, the amount of temperature protection included in a parcel is always a balance. More cooling is not necessarily better, and our packaging is designed based on extensive experience shipping temperature-sensitive brewing products successfully throughout the year.
For these reasons, we do not agree that we showed a lack of foresight or refused to take responsibility. We took proactive steps to minimise the effects of the hot weather, including discussing dispatch timing with you in advance and shipping the yeast with a cold pack.
We're sorry that despite these efforts you remain dissatisfied, and we wish you all the best with your future brewing projects.

Brilliant company
I use Malt Miller in the main for all my home brew requirements, their service is brilliant, quick dispatch, great packaging,( like the new style with coasters etc).
Customer support excellent, I also would recommend their videos, entertaining and very informative.
Nice to deal with a business that interreacts with its customer base and has a genuine interest in helping the hobby.

A great company to deal with whether purchasing ingredients (always fresh, always the right thing) or asking for advice on equipment, they are always helpful and always deliver within a short time-frame. I’m new to brewing but these will always be my go to for stuff I need.

As usual, the product and service was very good. Also very pleased with the advice I received. Can’t wait to taste my latest brew in a few weeks - a Sharp’s Atlantic clone - perfect for the summer. The last one went down a treat. With another tweak to my equipment I’ve bottled even more this time.

Only my 2nd order and enjoying the info packs that are incorporated with the beer. I was a little concerned that it maybe too technical. They're not, and are an easy step by step guide to quality beer.

Fast dispatch and delivery. Everything arrived in perfect condition and was exactly as ordered. I have been using Malt Miller on and off for many years as and when I have needed ingredients or equipment. Any issues with the delivery or items received have always been handled quickly and hassle free.
