The Meatbox Company Avis 

The products are amazing. I had family over for dinner after Christmas and they all said how tasty the chicken and pigs in blankets were. This is the second time I’ve used the company first time during lockdown. Everything is perfectly sealed and can be popped straight into the freezer . I was also impressed with the prices of everything I did not feel I had been overcharged just because it was fresh produce. Will definitely use again.

Their products are always excellent and customer service good. Their partnership with DHL lets them down, else it would have been 5 stars. I have had a delivery made 2 streets away and the last one 72 hours after despatch. Meatbox was very good and refunded in less than 5 minutes after my complaints.

Did a Christmas order from an email saw they did small turkey joints said if you ordered before 1200 on the Tuesday you would get before Christmas received my order next day and the turkey breast was beautiful for Christmas dinner so easy to carve and cook fantastic would definitely recommend and will use again the rest of my meat order looked good have used chicken breasts even my husband commented on them tasty and convenient thank you all very good

Delivery was faultless and the excellent quality 2.5kg turkey joint arrived fully frozen. Once defrosted I cooked it on Xmas day covered in smoked streaky bacon, under foil for two hours. The joint was moist, well flavoured and carved beautifully.

I never usually give a 5 star rating as always think there are opportunities for improvement but this one is different. We ordered our Christmas turkey joint late and the delivery date was the last one before leaving for our Christmas break. Customer services were super helpful regarding my concerns about receiving our order in time. The turkey joint was excellent, easy to cook and carve and very much enjoyed by all 6 adults and 4 children. This was our first order from The Meatbox Company but will be ordering again. Order a rolled turkey breast, pigs in blankets and some chicken breast. I checked with seller how the meat would arrive and was told it would all be frozen. I was aware the order was with the Courier on the Tuesday evening for delivery Wednesday appx. mid day. The delivery happened at the time designated by the Courier and all goods were in the well packed (with freezer blocks etc.) box. The reason for only 4 stars is that the pigs in blankets had already started to thaw so was unable to put these in the freezer as planned for use in 3-4 days time. The pigs in blankets did survive in the fridge well although I obtained spares just in case. The turkey/pigs in blankets were delicious, still have to try the chicken. Thank you The Meatbox Company

The order was delivered quickly and well-packed to maintain the frozen state. Also, The Meatbox Company was one of the few which had the desired product without being sold out. Both turkey breast and ham were thawed in several days before Christmas and then done on the smoker Christmas Day. Delicious! I would come back them again to source meat products.

Got a selection pack of meat. It came frozen and was not defrosted at all. The turkey crown was lovely. The other meat us for another time but hopefully will be as good

Never received my Christmas meat. Was meant to be delivered on the 23rd. Then got told the 24th and now the 28th of December. Awful service that ruined the Christmas Dinner, will never use again.

First time we’ve used Meatbox but it definitely won’t be the last! Delivered on time and well packed.
I’ve just cooked the turkey and the beef ready for tomorrow. Absolutely lovely, best flavoured beef we’ve ever had and the turkey is wonderful too
