The Soundproof Windows Avis

I can't rate this company and their products highly enough. From my first contact with Sebastian, through to installation of very high quality secondary acoustic glazing, to dealing with minor after sales issues, they have been about the best company I have dealt with. I opted for secondary acoustic units of 51db upstairs and 47db downstairs. My property faces a 'A' Road and is set back by about 150 yards but due to poor sash windows the road noise especially with motorbikes and heavy lorries can be horrendous and varies depending on weather and wind conditions. Since moving into my property I had only had sleep in 1, 2 and 3 hour slots due to the noise! I am now getting sleep of 4 and even 7 hours at a time - so very happy!
On arrival Maciej and Dawid, meticulously put covering on all my flooring, they worked tirelessly and efficiently, and were a pleasure to have in my home.
A sound proof material was installed on the window reveals before fitting the very solid units.
Sebastian had meticulously measured, to allow for an extra section at the top of the one window, to ensure my roman blind would still work and enable me to open the windows - it's perfect!
I have never described windows as 'beautiful' before, but these are truly a work of art and look elegant, with tilt and turn function and the tilt angle can be set on two different settings, which is terrific if you just want it open a minimal amount or wider.
I had done a lot of searching on the internet and most window companies have dire reviews but not Soundproof Windows! It was due to this and desperation that I decided to pay (what is a very high price) for the secondary acoustic units, but definitely worthwhile.
I always say that a company can be judged but how they handle any problems aftersales, and yet again Soundproof Windows excels on this. I had a couple of minor issues that have been dealt with swiftly and courteously, to my satisfaction.
Every single person I have dealt with throughout the whole process has been impressive, professional, sensitive, friendly and efficient. What more can I say, in my opinion they are the best window company out there!

Professional, went above and beyond and the window looks incredible in our Grade II listed building. It's also silent at night. Really so impressed and happy with how it turned out.

Excellent windows, dramatic change to the soundscape in our home which is exactly what we were hoping for and they look great. The installers could have been a touch more careful as there was a little damage to a new carpet which was remediated so not a big deal.

We are delighted with our new windows. From early on in the project Sebastian and team were brilliant to work with, helping us with multiple decisions along the way as well as connecting us with expert guidance through some challenges around planning regulations for replacing windows within a conservation area. The final result has made a huge difference to the noise levels from the road outside, and the quality of finish is fantastic. We would especially like to call out and thank the installation team, who took care of everything during installation, did a flawless job, and left the place spotless. Many thanks again!

Very happy with the service from day 1 to the completion.
Highly professional team who are responsive and delivered the installation on the timeline they have promised.
The installation team was professional and very careful to minimise any damage.
Windows look great and importantly, made a big difference in the sound reduction.
Overall, super happy with the service and quality. highly recommend them

Sound Proof Windows promised and delivered! We are beyond pleased with our investment and the results. They were highly professional, knowledgeable, polite, thorough and communicative. We highly recommend them! The new silence is bliss.

Professional, expert, high quality work, clean, nice and even going the extra mile to please client. Nothing to complain, 10/10.

We had 15+ windows and balcony doors replaced at our new property in Central London. We were looking for noise reduction as we live on a relatively noisy high street. We went for tilt and turn windows throughout, with various degree of noise cancellation from 43dB to 51dB for our bedrooms.

The team at the Soundproof Windows was amazing. From the initial quote with Sebastien who took a few hours to explain all our options. To Krystian who coordinated the installation over 3 weeks and the crew led by Thomas, everybody was very friendly, accommodating and limited the disturbance to our daily lives as the work was happening.

We cannot recommend them enough. The windows are amazing, very heavy and feel sturdy, whilst being easy to operate. The noise reduction is very noticeable and beyond our expectations. We will be changing a few more windows with this company in the new year after completing some other work at our house. 100% recommend them!

Thanks to the Soundproof Windows! :)

Great installation team; sound proof window has made a huge difference - now installing their products in every window and door in the house!

I am delighted by the quality of the sash windows, the level of noise reduction and the service offered by Sebastian and his team.

Our experience working with Sebastian, Dominik and the rest of the team was amazing. Communication is clear, customer-oriented. And the product is superb!

Our lives have changed, quality of sleep has improved. We couldn’t be happier!

Installation lead time was long (10-12 weeks), but for the quality you get it’s worth the wait! People installing the windows were careful and cleaned up after themselves very well.

Highly recommended!

Very professional
Did 2 house visits to get dimensions and confirmation of them.
Went through specs on phone and best sound solution.
Gave a week to week timeline from design to installation.
Very thorough.
Windows themselves:
1) look amazing
2) mine were 51db ones and secondary windows. My house is on a road with a fair few cars that go by from 8 to 5pm. Nothing crazy but with these windows can't hear a thing unless it's a motorbike or police car speeding by.

There are a small business so are more expensive than other acoustic solutions. But they come to your house to figure out the best solutions and work out how well it'll reduce noise.
There's nothing that'll deal with ambulances and motorbikes but they do drastically reduce how loud they are.
Top job. Highly recommend

High quality product which is expensive but cheaper than others at that highest quality level - no showrooms, so no associated costs to recoup from the customer. You get what you pay for. The results in terms of acoustics and warmth/fuel efficiency are superb. I can now hear a pin drop and occasionally the gentle murmur of the hot water pipes. Finally! No traffic noise! Peace and quiet reign in here. Thanks guys. Excellent job. Clean, tidy and pleasant workmen doing it. (Long 12 week lead time, but unavoidable for that level of bespoke timber product surely and worth the wait.) The finished look is quality. Would always use in the future if required. Recommended (if you can afford it) without any reservations. (Small issue with one handle in the bedroom. Their supplier was slow and a bit silly but Soundproof Windows put it right without argument or charge.)

We got new windows for the front of our Victorian terraced house, which is on a busy road, and also a new front door, all from Soundproof Windows. They have made an enormous difference to the level of road noise we can hear, and we feel much more relaxed in our home as a result.

The team were very helpful and supportive throughout the process and we were so impressed by their meticulous eye for detail and commitment to high quality craftsmanship. We would certainly recommend!

Fantastic windows, I couldn't be more pleased with the results.

The whole process went smoothly from start to finish. Sebastian came to have a look and discuss options in January, and his colleague Krystian came two weeks later to take measurements. 3.5 months later, everything was installed. The fitters were very tidy and meticulous, and all the rubbish was picked up the day after they finished.

The windows themselves are great. We sticked with the original sash design, and they do a fantastic job a cutting out the noise from the A road fifty meters away. They look great and run so smoothly too. I never had sash that did before, a finger is all you need.

Thanks so much to all the team!

They keep in close touch throughout the order and installation. The installers were very careful to keep mess and disturbance to a minimum. Soundproof were easy to contact and deal with ... a real pleasure in this day and age ! The windows are truly excellent for noise reduction and thermal insulation. We should have had these windows years ago.

Great from start to finish. Excellent telephone support giving guidance and easily understood explanations of what is a complex subject. No attempt to upsell where no additional advantage would have accrued to me, either. The fitters were tidy, quiet, efficient and OH MY GOD it’s so quiet now - in the room with the 51dB window we can hear neither planes directly overhead nor the children playing in the school playground behind!

We are absolutely delighted with our new soundproof windows manufactured, supplied and fitted by Sebastian and his team. They have transformed our house, which now definitely has a more calming atmosphere as well as being warm and draft free.

Our house is just over 100 years old, lies in a Conservation Area and is locally listed under an Article 4 planning direction. Sebastian helped us first secure planning consent (through an architect, Una Kaya, with whom he had worked before).

Our windows are traditional sash with georgian grid panes, and they had to be manufactured on a completely bespoke basis by SPW's factory. Each window is a little different so this really required attention to detail.

Once the orders were placed and the windows delivered the installation started under the supervision of Sebastian, with day to day project management by his excellent project manager, Krystian.

We remained in occupation through the works, which (due to the planning and manufacturing time) were undertaken in winter. A decant programme was agreed and the days were done a day at a time as we moved between rooms.

There were two SPW installation teams, Julius and Emille and David and Majiek, who worked very hard, efficiently and to programme throughout. These teams were friendly, knowledgeable and very considerate whilst working in an occupied home. Every day they were careful to clean up, before moving on to the next room the next day. Where matters needed to be discussed they were amicably agreed.

We appreciated greatly the spirit of cooperation, consideration, care and professionalism shown by all at SPW, including the office based team members (Alice and Dominik).

We would thoroughly recommend SPW to anyone contemplating the installation of soundproof new windows.

Sebastian and the entire team at The Soundproof Windows have been absolutely amazing to work with. Professional, organised, attentive, good attention to detail, patient, reliable, brilliant craftsmanship, and much more! And their soundproof windows have made a huge difference to my living arrangements and general well being. I cannot recommend this company enough!

Lots of brilliant communication, every detail explored and explained. Our Soundproof window looks fantastic and has made a big difference. Price was significantly better than a number of other companies and I don't think the quality could have been any better. I thoroughly recommend this company.
