Think employment took away all the stress of trying to become a HGV driver. Between the communication from them as a company as well as the magnificent tutors (I had Graham and Richard who are 2 of the best and most knowledgeable people I now know) I had all the faith that they would help me achieve my dream. They definitely know their stuff and helped wherever they could. As well as the fact it’s government funded so didn’t have to pay a penny myself, if I can do this and get to where I am then anyone can.

I would have had no other way to get into the driving industry if not for Think Employment and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a change of career.

One last incredible shoutout to Graham and Richard as tutors! Thank you ever so much for all your help and I will miss the daily laughs!

Level 2 teaching assistant course

After 18 years in Healthcare, I was looking for a career change. After doing a google search, I came across Think Employment.

I read their website and the process for HGV training and found it straight forward and an easy application process.
After my application was accepted it was a while until I could get started due to needing my driving licence to come back with the entitlements to drive HGVs, but it was worth the wait.

I was fortunate enough to have a session on the HGV simulator at the office base in Grimsby. As someone who had never been in a truck before, this was a great experience.

My Tutors, Graham and Richard were brilliant. They're good fun. Both have incredible experience from working in the industry and really know what they're talking about. They're both contactable/approachable and always willing and happy to offer additional support.... especially when it comes to the CPC theory!

My Skills Coach (Gill) was a great support. Always happy to answer my questions and helped me understand what the expectations are for the course.
Charlotte my assigned Employment Support Officer is very knowledgeable and a great asset when it comes to updating your CV and making it relatable to the positions you want to apply to.

Overall I've had a great experience learning with Think Employment. Would highly recommend them for anyone wishing to have a carer change.

The Z session which was presented by Anthony was very insightful. The topic of the discussion was resilience and it highlighted some of the way we can develop resilience further which is an advantage in personal life and work life.

The course has been extremely informative and well-structured, and it has significantly enhanced my understanding of effective teaching practices, student engagement, and children's support strategies.

I have just finished my Level 3 Teaching support bootcamp course and would highly recommend. Alice who was my tutor is exceptional, enthusiastic and an amazing communicator who presents the zoom calls along with Emma and Jess who are also fantastic at presenting the course. Even though it is quite demanding and consists of fitting a lot of work in a short amount of time, I have felt welcomed and supported throughout. I now have the confidence to start my career as a TA. They also provide an employment coach who can help find agencies and prepare you for interviews etc which has been super helpful. Thank you to everyone on this course and at think employment for making it an enjoyable learning experience.

I completed the Level 2 Teaching Assistant course and had such an amazing tutor, Adele Topping. She provided outstanding support throughout the entire course and was always encouraging and understanding.
There were times when things felt hard, especially trying to balance family life, school work, and meeting deadlines. However, with determination and the understanding and support from Adele and the team, I was able to overcome all the obstacles.
The live sessions were engaging, insightful, and really helped me build my knowledge and confidence.

I had a great experience with think employment! I did a level 2 teaching assistant course and found it very easy to understand how to answer each question and task and how it all works overall. I found it easy to work around my home and social life too! My course tutor Jack was very friendly and helpful and always a phone or email away whenever I did get stuck on anything and always gave great feedback! My employability support manager John was also very helpful and friendly and was there to answer any questions I needed answering. I enjoyed doing the course very much and feel very positive about my future.

She is always the one to send the first email. She works so hard and provides amazing support throughout the course. Her attention to detail and encouragement make a huge difference, and I couldn't succeed without it. She is truly dedicated. I am grateful for everything she's done for me. I really enjoyed learning with her. Highly recommended.

I enrolled for Level 2 Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant online course in August 2025 with Think Employment. My purpose of enrolling for the course was to equip me with the knowledge and skills to teach autistic children and other children with special needs. Our online Think Employment tutors are always punctual. They give clear, concise instructions with detailed objectives. They are highly competent with deep subject knowledge of contents and concepts. They are well organised tutors. They deliver excellent quality, structured interactive and engaging lessons especially the Z lessons via zoom. They use different teaching methods to enhance different learning styles. One of my tutors, Mr Anthony Bennett, a very resilient tutor, gave me relentless support to keep striving and be persistent and focus in pursuing my goals which are to complete the course, apply for teaching job and secure a maths / science teaching job. Mr Anthony Bennett supported me with my job applications and interviews. I am glad to say that I have secured 2 places for voluntary face to face tutoring in 2 secondary schools to tutor year 10 and year 11 students. I would love to complete volunteering tutoring for a school term before applying for full term permanent teaching job. I recommend Think employment online programmes for people who are interested in training to become a teaching assistant / support worker / a tutor/a teacher. Think employment are resourceful and welcome everyone to train with them and enjoy thrilling lessons at your convenience.

One of the best online learning experiences I have had. The tutor Aimee Horsley was professional, patient, and genuinely cares about student success. Everything was explained clearly and in a practical way, with real-world insight that made it easy to follow. I gained skills I can actually use, and the support throughout the course was excellent. Definitely worth it and highly recommended.

I have been enrolled with their bootcamp for several months, currently studying to achieve my teaching assistant level 3.
The onboarding process was easy and I received help and support from the team every step of the way.
A big positive for me was the idea that they help with employment skills at the same time as training for the role.
The tutors are so friendly and helpful, genuinely caring about their learners and go above and beyond to help you achieve your goals. Being on group video calls was a bit daunting for me but the atmosphere was so welcoming and other learners, at different stages of progress, are all so caring and helpful to that I needn't have been worried.
I would like to mention the people that have helped me and taught me Emma and Jess as they deserve so much appreciation for putting up with me! ( I know I talk a lot!) But my main person who has helped me and guided me every step of the way is Alice, I will never be able to thank her enough for all she has done for me! I'm glad I enrolled as we have great tutors, who are helping seal theory with practical experiences. The program is well structured and excellent additional support.

Very poor - started a course in the summer 2025 and was due to be finished by September 2025. It's now January 2026 and still waiting on marking to be completed. It's understandable that the tutor as been on sick leave, but could a replacement not be found? Since I was due to complete this in September I currently not longer have the time to finish the course as my circumstances have changed.

My experience studying the TA Level 3 Bootcamp has been absolutely fabulous. Every area I studied didn’t just teach me something new it awakened something in me.

When I learned about Health and Safety, I felt a strong sense of responsibility and realised how important it is to take a leading role in keeping children safe within a school setting. It made me want to be someone others can rely on.

While studying Safeguarding, I felt deeply drawn to this line of work. Protecting children, being their voice, and ensuring their wellbeing felt not just important, but personal. It’s an area I feel passionate about pursuing further.

Then came the Autism Unit, and that truly touched my heart. It opened my eyes to how many children in the world are affected by autism and how much understanding, patience, and support they need. It made me feel that this is where I belong—supporting, understanding, and making a difference where it truly matters.

Overall, this course has not only given me knowledge, but purpose. Each module inspired me in a different way and strengthened my desire to work in education, supporting children with care, confidence, and compassion.
