The experience is well run with friendly staff. The low rev limit will prove disappointing and frustrating to any competent drivers. IMO this should be mentioned on the website.

The organisation was very good, and very easy to book and communicate with the office at Thruxton. On arrival the greeting was good. We were met by the instructor Colin who was very professional, put you at ease, was friendly - a very good instructor and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. A very good experience and would thoroughly recommend it.

My son enjoyed the off road and the skid pan but was very disappointed that he had very little time in the Porsche and was left in the Mini for most of his half an hour time slot. he really wanted to drive the Porsche as he intends to get a rear wheel drive car and wanted the experience.

Had an Alpine experience at Thruxton today and it was mega. The setup is very good but what really made it exceptional was that ALL the staff we met were very friendly, helpful and professional which made the day very memorable. The driving tuition was outstanding and of course the Alpine cars are just amazing. I can’t recommend it highly enough, if you like your cars …..don’t hesitate just book it.

I went for the own-car skid pan experience; completely disorganised. The website stated there would be slalom exercises with tuition and a two-way radio - none of this happened. One half of the skid pan (the slalom part) was bone dry, and the instructor was more keen on chatting to the session's other driver while I was sent onto the track as an afterthought to do as I pleased.

Once he saw I was coming back up after my time, he walked out of the skid pan, got in his car, and left without a word!

I did get to explore my car's limits, so I didn't come away fully empty-handed, but I paid £129 to skid around at my leisure around some cones instead of getting some genuine, professional, structured tuition. The whole thing left me feeling completely secondary to the other driver, and completely deflated on the drive home.

I expected far better from Thruxton.

The experience was well organised and gave valuable learning/practice to control a skid. The facilities are fantastic. However, the experience was 1 hour long and there were 4 participants. With the 10 minute briefing at the start, that left each of us with approximately 12 minutes behind the wheel. It was a shame as it took me a while to feel confident enough to let the car slide and therefore practice controlling it. I would suggest improving the radio comms with the instructor, as some of the time we were out of range and could not hear what was being said.

Great instructors, exactly what I needed for this experience session

My daughter and I had a great time at the skid pan. All the staff were very friendly and explained what was going to happen The two different cars gave us the opportunity to learn about rear and front wheel drive techniques. Overall it was a fun experience and we learnt something.

Excellent start to finish, great day out

This was a great experience. However it would have been good if the instructor gave us a demonstration. That is probably my fault for not asking him

Everyone was so friendly helpful and reassuring. Each of the cars I drove were excellent and the instructors were knowledgeable and encouraging to help get the best from the experience. I had a great morning and would recommend this experience to anyone, from start to finish everything was smooth and timely

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Everything was easy to follow. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Even with a lot going on nothing ever felt rushed and all instructions were clear and concise. The instructors were really helpful and made me feel at ease straight away. Would definitely recommend and do again.

Everything was clear and well organised, with everyone clear on what was happening. Instructions were clear and helpful from the initial video through to all the professional drivers in the practice laps and the driving laps. Despite the poor weather, it was a thoroughly enjoyable day.
